Here's the whole story:
The UFC will make its first trip to Vancouver in June with UFC 115 taking place on June,12 at General Motors Place in Vancouver,British Columbia. The headlining fight will be between two former world champions as Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell takes on Rich "Ace" Franklin. Liddell was suppose to fight longtime rival Tito Ortiz on this card, but with Ortiz mysteriously leaving the current season of "The Ultimate Fighter" Rich Franklin has stepped in to take the fight.
The UFC officially released the card as follows:
Pay-Per-View Bouts
Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin
Mirko "Cro Cop" vs. Pat Barry
Paulo Thiago vs. Martin Kampmann
Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald
Tyson Griffin vs. Evan Dunham
Preliminary Bouts
Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman
Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel
James Wilks vs. Peter Sobotta
Ricardo Funch vs. Claude Patrick

Sounds like a great card. However, why did Tito leave?? And when he does leave on the set of The Ultimate Fighter, does Rich come out and take his place right then and there or not??
I mean, I'm only assuming when Tito leaves, that they MUST have a replacement coach for the other team and I guess it's got to be Rich Franklin seeing as this is now confirmed.
At any rate, I guess we'll just have to wait until Wednesday to watch the latest episode of The Ultimate Fighter to see how this all plays out. Should be interesting.

That kinda sucks because i was looking foward to seeing chuck vs tito but chuck vs rich will still
be a pretty awesome fight

Maybe this time when the fight doctor and the ref are helping Chuck up to a sitting position he'll realize he doesn't have it anymore.
I wasn't really looking forward to Chuck/Tito 3. When the coaching spots were announced it sounded like alot if not most weren't excited. Now it seems like everyone is disappointed. I just wonder if the fight was canceled because of what happened during the season or if it's Dana trying create epic PPV numbers.

I'm actually pleased as had no interest in seeing a third Tito/Chuck fight.
Liddell vs. Franklin is a very interesting fight.
Can't wait to see exactly what the situation with Tito is though.
