Sorry I hate to be such a newb.. The Mattel product has really started to interest me.
Could someone fill me in? I know there is a price difference between the two but is there an actual difference between them other than Elite come with shirts, etc?

Elites have more points of articulation. They have the ab crunch joint, ball jointed hips, cut thighs, double knees and ankle pivots (meaning the ankles rotate sideways for wider stances)

Same size/scale, but with more joints, and of course accessories. Basic Orton is the same size as Elite Orton.

Some of the Elites also have more detail. Like Punk has his tattoo's in color and Orton's tat's are more detailed than his Basic figure.

Elites=Deluxe Aggression with Accessories and More Detail Basic=Ruthless Aggression this except Elite and Basic are in scale with each other, something Jakks failed to do with RA and DA.

Elite is far better, those figures are very real looking and kind of expensive or maybe even hard to find in stores. Elite series have a comic book figure feel to them as far as detail/scale/articulation are concerned. Anyway, I only collect Elite and Jakks Deluxe figures.....nothing else.

Much appreciated guys, thanks for the responses. I'll be keeping an eye out for Elites. They sound/look pretty cool

The Elite figures are cool, but I like Basics better because of the variety. Don't get me wrong though, both lines are unreal.
