Seems like everyone is doing Build A Figures. Toybiz had their Marvel Legends line and DC is doing it too. What could Mattel do with a build a figure for the WWF? Or WWE if you are anal retentive...
I would like to see Yokosuna. I thought the Jakks one was WAY too small. Yoko was larger than King Kong Bundy and Earthquake put together. Perhaps one that looked like Marvel's Blob figure would work as a build a figure. Anyone have any other ideas?

Might not happen because it would like decapitated body parts and mothers will get mad about it like the al snow bca figure with head in it.

How about maybe doing a Build an Announce Table or Build A Raw Stage(This would have to be spread out over multiple series to get the scale right). I dont know just something along the lines of a playset similar to how build and brawl was but on a larger scale.

That was many moons ago and most of the big toy companies are already doing build a figures with no reaction. As far as a RAW stage goes...hmm....They already release good stages as it is. I have enough stages to choke on. How about something we haven't seen before? Only in 1 series mind you. Because spreading it out over many series sucks for the person buying 5 HHH figures just to get parts of the stage. How about the Buried alive playset? With just parts of it for 6 figures it could definetely work.

i dont think B-A-F would be a good idea for the WWE line.
including B-A-F parts would severely take away from the budget for accessories, multiple headscans, detailing, etc, as they would be more costly to design than the other things i listed. and i expect the put-together B-A-F would suffer from second rate articulation due to the compromises in structural design needed to make the parts easily put together.
personally i never like B-A-Fs. always found it irritating to have to buy figures i dont want to get the parts. and sometimes the B-A-Fs dont even fit together that well and tend to break or not be as good quality as the regular figure. just sell the figure on its own.

as I agree on Yokozuna being bigger then those mentioned I think the Yoko figure was fine it was the reuse of the body for KKB and the likes that was a bad idea.

I think the announce table is a pretty good idea.
1: Chair 2: Chair 3: Left side panel and half of top 4: Right side panel and half of top 5: Front and WWE logo bit 6: Monitors

I already made a thread for this in the Suggestion Box, which is where it belongs anyway.

It doesn't take away from the other companies! Have you seen the build a figures from Toybiz, Hasbro, Toy Island and others? You may personally not want to buy one but the build a figures from other toy companies are superb. And headscans whatever are just fine. So is the articulation.

build a figure seems silly to me
besides BANE, you only want mattel to make people jakks never did, and they made yokozuna

How about Build a refs, Camera men, JR (announcers) Because other than maybe 3 Classic refs, JR & King I wouldn't buy any of them by themselves.
As far as oversized wrestlers go really only Andre, Studd or Yoko (maybe Heystacks & Abdulah if they even were to after them) would make sense. Unless instead of larger guys they go jobbers like SD Jones, Barry Horowiz, Rick McGraw (guys who for the most part would risk being pegwarmers)

I believe this belongs in the suggestion threads but I personally think a "Build a Figure" wouldn't work in the WWE line but as others have stated accessories that build parts of sets or announce tables would be best. I personally would love it if they packaged ring skirts, turnbuckles, and ropes for their RSR with the figs.

build an arena would probably work better and have each series focus on a specific point. for example, the first should build an announce table, the second could build an interview set, maybe 1 or 2 series can eventually build a stage, a series could make guard rails. anyway i dont think i would really like it too much cuz i dont buy every figure so id end up wit a bunch of spare peices i cant do anything with

The Yokozuna figure wasn't/isn't too small, the others were too big.
Anyways, this could be interesting, but I don't see it working with an actual wrestler, perhaps stage equipment.
What I would love is for Mattel to give us a stage with interchangeable logos. Then with each PPV line, a figure could come with different aspects of the stage(Titantron cut-outs[main screen, at the entrance, and the top screen], side banners, ring skirts, and ropes). This could work very well. VERY well if done correctly.

They could have some cool promo with them. Build backstage sets or something easy like that. Each guy comes with a wall, or something.

Entrance stuff could work. I don't think it would ever really work for wrestlers. I know the Marvel TNA figures were going to do it before the line was done.

Does anyone actually HAVE the blob figure from Hasbro? He DEFINETLY works as a wrester that is huge like yoko. Again, I have enough arenas and stuff to choke on. WHY would one want ringropes? Don't you have ENOUGH with the rings Jakks already released ad infinitum? Isn't Mattel releasing one with ringropes? I don't get that logic AT ALL! And Chairs? Geez louise..Don't we have enough chairs and announce tables? I got 5 of them for crying out loud. Jakks came out with a freaking stage every single month for 8 years. Why the sudden interest in a new stage is something I will never understand...
People's choices confuse me. It's like you guys are brand new fans and never bought a jakks product in your life.
