Grey:[/b] Your winner as a result of a disqualification; Joe Bishop!
Sabbath continues to attack Bishop, throwing him into the steel steps, following that up by flinging him into the guard rails. A swarm of security guards rush to the ringside area separating Sabbath from the incapacitated Joe Bishop, but the damage has already been done.
As Sabbath is escorted to the backstage, Jon O'Deeves stares at him, a perplexed look on his face.
Outside of Alex Sean's door; The High Horror and Aaron Ashton both appear from around corners.
Horror: Aaron.
Ashton: Shawn.
Horror: I take it Alex wanted to see you too; eh?
Ashton: Sort of.
Ashton knocks on the door and you can hear Al inside telling the knocker to enter. Horror and Ashton both enter the office at once and Alex pokes his head up from some papers and stares at the two of them.
Alex Sean: Well...sit down. I might as well cast two birds here.
The two men sit down and stare at Alex.
Alex Sean: So...I've been thinking Horror. After your strong showing in the Scars and Stripes battle royal...you've proven to me that you deserve a shot at a singles title at last. So next week; I'm giving you that.
Horror: Why thank you; Alex. However; both Thunder and Trace have their top contenders as you're well aware...
Alex Sean: Yes; I am well aware of that. Hence why next week; you will be challenging Jon O'Deeves for his National title.
Horror tries to speak up, but words just can't escape. He looks both elated and disturbed at once.
Alex Sean: I can tell by your face that you're a bit confused. I really don't have the time nor the patience to spell it out for you; but you're getting a title shot. If you don't want it...surely I can push you aside for someone else...
Horror: No; no! I'm all for it; but it's against O'Deeves.
Alex Sean: Hrm. Word.
Horror: But...
Alex Sean: Go; Horror. You have a match to prepare for. Ashton will be out momentarily for the match. Go and get ready. Also; if you come across O'Deeves in your travels; get him in here.
Horror nods at Alex and gets to his feet and walks to the door; an unusual, mischievous smirk on his face as he walks out of the room. Once the door is closed, Ashton sighs out and smiles at Alex, who is now standing with his hand on his desk.
Ashton: Thank you; Alex.
Alex Sean: Don't think you're getting out of this one. When I call upon you ; you had better be prepared to do my bidding when I call. You owe me for this one.
Ashton: I'm aware; and I'm a man of my word.
Alex Sean: Sure.
Ashton: How about the other part of my proposition though...my specific part in all of this...
Alex Sean: It's been done. You're set. Much like you; I'm also a man of my word. However; if this blows up in your face...I hope you don't expect me to intervene.
Ashton: I've had this planned for ages. There is no chance of it failing.
Alex Sean: If you say so; Aaron. Now go; I have work to do...and so do you.
Ashton extends his hand to Alex, however Alex just ignores the gesture. Aaron gets to his feet and opens the door only to have Jon O'Deeves standing in the doorway.
Ashton: Mr. Sean; O'Deeves is here.
Alex Sean: Rad. Enter; Jon. I have something of the utmost importance to inform you about...
Back from commercial break, it's time for the main event.
Grey: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the WFWF Tag Team Championship!
"Revelation (Divus Pennae ex Tragoedia)" by Symphony X echoes though the arena as Revelation comes out from behind the curtain. They get to the stage and Ashton crosses his arms in an X formation, with Horror swinging his arms out from his sides in Hangman's Horror position.
Grey: Making their way to the ring at a combined weight of 513 lbs... High Horror & Aaron Ashton... The Revelation!
A shower of red, white and gold pyrotechnics comes down on the two of them as the crowd boos. Horror and Ashton start walking down the ramp as the crowd boos them more.
Horror and Ashton get into the ring and run the ropes a bit, warming up. They back into their corner, Horror crouched in the corner, Ashton standing next to him, both of them watching the ramp.
"Cult of Personality" by Living Colour begins to play. As the cash register sound ends and the music begins, Thunder walks towards the ring.
Grey: And their opponents. First, hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he weighs in at 235 lbs and is the current reigning, and defending WFWF International Champion as well as one half of the WFWF Tag Team Champions... He is "The Root of All Evil" Thunder!
Thunder makes it to the ringside area, stopping right at the apron as The Revelation stare him down from within the ring.
"Dance With the Devil" by Breaking Benjamin hits the sound system as the lights dim. Large flames shoot out at the top of the stage area before Trace Demon walks through them, without getting burned. He poses on the ramp, raising both arms, titles in hand, as the flames eventually die out.
Grey: And his partner, hailing from the United Kingdom, weighing in at 230 lbs... He is the current reigning and defending WFWF World Heavyweight Champion as well as one half of the WFWF Tag Team Champions... Trace Demon!
Trace Demon slowly walks to the ring. As he reaches the ringside area, both he and Thunder enter between the top and middle rope. They ascend opposing turnbuckles, Thunder simply staring out at the mass of people while Trace Demon points at the crowd, grinning, before jumping down and stopping in the center of the ring staring at his opponents.
The ref backs all four men into their corners then raises the WFWF Tag Team Championship high above his head for all to see. Meanwhile, Trace Demon and Aaron Ashton exit to the apron.
The High Horror and Thunder stare one another down as the ref calls for the bell to start this match.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Horror and Thunder start out by scoping each other out. Horror calls for a tie up but Thunder backs away. Thunder then calls for one and Horror backs away. Horror ties up with him finally and rams him into the turnbuckle, Thunder weaseling in between the ropes, getting the ref to break the hold.
Horror uses the full count then backs off. Thunder slowly makes his way to the middle of the ring, hesitant. They tie up once more, but Thunder puts a thumb into Horror's eye, temporarily waining him off.
Horror turns his back on Thunder, who leaps onto his back and brings the big man down backwards with a Lung Blower. Thunder hooks Horror's leg, trying to end it early.
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
Horror kicks out at two! Thunder gets onto his knees and waits next to Horror, who is trying to at least sit up. Once he does, Thunder charges and locks Horror into a sideways rear naked sleeper hold. Horror flails around for a moment, but to no avail.
He's starting to fade but at the very last second he manages to lift Thunder's arms away from his throat and throws his head back, right into the sternum of Thunder; knocking him backwards. Horror rolls out of the ring to regroup as Thunder is holding his chest inside the ring.
Trace walks to the middle of the apron as he and Horror exchange glares. Horror keeps one eye on him as he rolls back in and covers Thunder.
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
Thunder kicks out at two! Horror smirks and shrugs his shoulders, lifting Thunder to his feet. Horror Irish Whips Thunder into the far corner and charges at him. However, he is met with a boot to the face from the former WFWF Champion. Thunder goes to the top rope, locks Horror head under his arm and leaps off, dropping the big man with a Tornado DDT. Both men are laying on the mat, trying to get their wits about them, Trace and Ashton both calling for the tag.
Thunder crawls slowly but makes it to the corner and tags in the current WFWF Champion. Horror is just a fingertip away from Ashton, but Trace drops an elbow into his lower back and pulls him to the center of the ring.
Trace rolls Horror onto his back but Horror punches Trace in the jaw; Trace falling back onto his bottom. Horror gets his wits about him, barely stands and leaps to the corner and tags in Ashton. Ashton climbs into the ring as Trace backs into another corner, recovering from that hard shot.
Trace moves around his jaw a bit and puts his fists up, Ashton and Trace both circling each other in the ring now. They tie up, Trace backing Ashton into the ropes. Ashton moves his head out of the ring so the ref has to break the move. Trace goes to kick Ashton in the gut, but Ashton catches Trace's foot. No problem for Trace though. He jumps with his free leg and hits Ashton with an enziguiri.
Ashton falls flat on the ground as Trace tags in Thunder. Thunder locks Ashton in the Texas Cloverleaf dead center of the ring. Ashton is screaming and writhing in pain, trying his best to make it to either the ropes or Horror.
Ashton crawls to the corner and tags Horror. Thunder pulls Ashton to the middle of the ring though, not knowing the tag was made. Horror bounces off of the far rope and then onto the opposite. Trace is trying to warn Thunder, but it's too late. Horror bounces off of the rope and boots Thunder square in the face. Ashton rolls out of the ring and Horror covers Thunder.
... 1 ...
As things begin to look grim, Trace Demon rushes into the ring.
... 2 ...
Trace breaks up the pinfall! Horror gets to his feet and gives Trace a glare as the two go at it with lefts and rights. Ashton rolls back into the ring and spears Trace's side, Trace falling out of the ring, Ashton rolling with him.
Thunder manages to get to his feet staring Horror down. Trace and Ashton are still fighting out of the ring with Trace having the edge. Horror kicks Thunder in the gut and lifts him up above his head in attempt of the Military Press, but Thunder wriggles out of it and lands on his feet and drops Horror with a reverse DDT.
Pausing momentarily to pose, the crowd begins to erupt as an unidentifiable man runs toward the ring from the crowd. Not seeing the man, Thunder continues posing out of belief the fans are cheering for him.
The man jumps the barricade giving us a clear enough view to see that it is noen other than Yukio Blaze! Blaze slides under the bottom rope and before Thunder can even respond, Blaze nails Thunder with the Trailblazer!
The official calls for the bell to be rung, to which the timekeeper obliges.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Grey: Here are your winners as a result of a disqualification and still the WFWF Tag Team Champions... Trace Demon and Thunder!
Regardless of the victory, Thunder is in no condition to celebrate as Yukio Blaze stands over the fallen champion. Blaze gestures toward Stacy Grey and grabs the microphone. Blaze raises the microphone to his lips then gets down on one knee beside Thunder, speaking directly in his ear.
Blaze: It's almost over...
Blaze drops the microphone causing a loud pop throughout the building as WFWF Loaded comes to a close.[/center]
