THE EXTREME REPORT ~ Jake Jimenez
According to internal sources, Jerry Jarrett was spotted at World Wrestling Entertainment’s headquarters in Connecticut today. He had a very brief meeting in the office of Mr. McMahon, and was reported to be very happy coming out of said meeting.
World Wrestling Entertainment has signed a long term development deal with Florida Championship Wrestling. The working relationship will hopefully create several new stars for the company.
Speaking of Florida Championship Wrestling, current champion Colt Cabana is winning over everyone with his great wrestling abilities and charisma. He debuted on Cyber Chaos this week and should be debuting live on ECW on Sci-Fi soon.
World Wrestling Entertainment has tried to contact Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuiness of Ring of Honor fame, and Alex Shelley of Total Nonstop Action fame. No word on any of the talents possibly signing contracts.
There is a rumor circulating at this time that a former WCW megastar has signed with the company. Although his name cannot be revealed at this time, I am told he is one of the most recognizable faces of the company.

Danielson, McGuinness, and Shelley in ECW sounds great! Only thing, I think Sabin should get in too.

Cyber Chaos - The Cabinet (Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins) defeat the Basham Brothers (Doug & Danny Basham)Until the End December 6, 2007 Florence, South Carolina “Let the bodies hit the floor…”The music of John “Bradshaw” Layfield echoes throughout the arena as the General Manager of ECW makes his way to the ring. JBL talks about the torment he has been exposed to by Raven over the last few weeks. He reminds everyone that not too long ago, Vince McMahon warned him that if JBL has a physical altercation with any wrestler, he will be fired. JBL grows serious as he admits how he would love to get his hands on Raven. This causes Raven’s music to hit and the mysterious being appears on top of the entrance stage. Raven speaks about Layfield’s abuse of power and how it reminds him of the abuse he endured as a child. Raven claims that he has no issues not wrestling Layfield, as he enjoys destroying his mind. Layfield snaps, proclaiming that no one can do this to him and get away with it. JBL than makes the shocking announcement that he wants to see Raven in the ring at Ascent to Stardom! JBL says that he will surrender his GM power at the pay-per-view and finally destroy Raven! Raven just smirks and slowly walks away. ---------- Stevie Richards is shown backstage with “Beautiful” Danny Doring. The duo proclaims that tonight will start the movement to bring safety to professional wrestling! Opening Contest: Matt Morgan versus RhynoRhyno had requested this match earlier in the week as a way to prove a point to ECW Television Champion Johnny Nitro. Morgan is the bodyguard of Nitro, and Rhyno wants to prove it will not be long before he takes the gold. These two actually work rather well together and put on a decent stiff brawler. Morgan did manage to get a lot of offense in, but in the end Rhyno was able to win the match with the Gore! Winner: Rhyno The match ended via pinfall at 6:25 CFollowing the match, Rhyno grabs a microphone and says he will not stop until he has the ECW Television Championship around his waist! Rob Van Dam is shown in the back as he prepares to take on Kurt Angle for the ECW Heavyweight Championship in two weeks. Layfield approaches him and he has a blank stare on his face. Layfield, whom is very clearly not in a good state of mind, tells Van Dam he will be having a match tonight, against Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore and Boris Alexiev! The crowd is stunned as Layfield proclaims death to ECW---------- Jamie Noble w/ Kid Kash & Pitbull Kelly versus Elijah Burke w/ Sylvester TerkayEver since the Pitbulls pulled out an upset victory against A New Breed a few weeks ago, the former tag champs have been looking for revenge. These two have amazing chemistry in the ring and put on what could be called a wrestling clinic. The fans are very pleased with this match as neither man takes control over the other. The referee gets knocked down unintentionally, which allows Terkay and Kash to interfere. Burke grabs a chair from outside and cracks both men in the back, allowing Terkay to level them with powerbombs! Kelly hops in the ring and tries to protect her men, but Terkay grabs her and gives her the Face Paver! The referee begins to awaken as Burke pins Noble for the win! Winner: Elijah Burke The match ended via pinfall at 8:34 B+ The crowd is distraught over what they just witnessed. Burke grabs a microphone and challenges the Pitbulls to a street fight at Ascent to Stardom! In the back The Miz is hanging out with his Entourage. Layfield approaches him and out of the blue fires him! The Miz and the audience are in complete and utter shock as Layfield just walks away. ---------- ECW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle joins Tazz and Joey Styles on commentary for the next contest. Rob Van Dam versus Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore & Boris Alexiev1 on 3 Handicap Match Van Dam stands no chance again the three dominant new blood Extremists. Van Dam does his best to put up a solid fight, but three men are just too much for the former World Champion to handle. Thankfully, Sandman, Tommy Dreamer and Sabu, along with Paul Heyman, make the save by attacking their arch enemies! NO CONTEST The match ended via disqualification by interference at 4:12 CSwagger, Dinsmore and Alexiev continue to brawl with Sandman, Dreamer and Sabu around ringside. Heyman is standing in the ring watching, and Kurt Angle begins to attack Van Dam. Angle throws Van Dam to the outside and really stars a vicious beat down. He clears off the announce table and then nails the Olympic Slam to Van Dam through the table! Meanwhile, the three ECW alumni have been beaten down, allowing Swagger to go after Heyman! Swagger grabs Heyman and drags him up the entrance ramp. Swagger throws him into a steel post and then hits a Gut-wrench Powerbomb off the stage causing Heyman to crash through an electronics stand. Sparks fly as the lights in the arena dim from the impact. ---------- The lights in the arena are back on as a video is shown of the vicious attack to Paul Heyman just moments ago. Tazz comments saying the rivalry between the new blood and alumni has been taken too far, but also mentions it will all come to an end at Ascent to Stardom. They mention Paul Heyman is being escorted to a local hospital as we speak. Daffney and Kevin Thorne are standing in the back together. Thorne says he will never understand why the Disciples of Apocalypse split, but he knows that it means war now. He challenges Brian Lee and Ariel to face him and Daffney in a mixed tag match at Ascent to Stardom! “Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan comes to the ring and reviews his epic rivalry with C.M Punk. He says that at Ascent to Stardom, it all comes to an end as he will once and for all choke the life out of C.M Punk. C.M Punk comes out to counter the works of Muhammad Hassan. Punk says he ran away once out of fear, but that will never happen again. Punk says he wants to add a stipulation to their match in two weeks. Punk says there is only one type of match that can end their rivalry once and for all – HELL IN A CELL! Hassan shows no expression, but finally breaks out a smirk. Hassan says that Punk really does have a death wish! Hassan accepts the stipulation! Punk charges at Hassan and the two begin to exchange blows! Security quickly separates the two men, which unsatisfied the crowd. ---------- Stevie Richards and Danny Doring come out wearing safety gear, including helmets. Doring that challenges anyone to a match right now! Danny Doring versus Masato TanakaThe crowd was ecstatic to see Tanaka, but was not pleased in the slightest. Tanaka quickly destroys Doring, including a violent boot to the head that cracks the helmet he is wearing! Tanaka wins the match with the Dangan Bomb Winner: Masato Tanaka The match ended via pinfall at 2:13 N/AStevie Richards is stunned at ringside as Tanaka celebrates to the back. John Layfield is finally shown entering his office when he lets out a violent yell. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins have both been attacked. They are unconscious and bleeding. On the wall “I Accept” is spelt out in blood. ---------- Main Event: Johnny Nitro & The World’s Greatest Tag Team – Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas versus & Monty Brown & The Tag Team of London and Kendrick – Paul London and Brian Kendrick Six Man Tag Match The ECW Tag Team and Television Champions team up to take on their respective challenges for Ascent to Stardom in this epic six man tag match. The crowd was very excited for this contest and all six men put on a great showing. Some notable spots in the match included: Monty Brown connected with a belly-to-back supplex on Charlie Haas from the ring apron to the outside of the ring, Johnny Nitro hit a moonsault onto London and Kendrick from the top rope to the outside of the ring, Paul London hit Shelton Benjamin with the 450 Splash, and Charlie Haas was trying to supplex Monty Brown off the top rope, when Paul London went under his legs, powerbombing Charlie Haas which also caused the Haas to superplex Monty Brown. The end of the match came when London caught Haas with a schoolboy to steal a victory. Winners: Monty Brown & the Tag Team of London and Kendrick The match ended via pinfall at 17:32 AThe title challengers make their way to the back celebrating as the ECW champions stand in the ring looking on.

*This show is a little rough for three reasons: I am rusty, I don't remember exactly where I was going with a lot of storylines, I kind of ended with a lot of weird stuff going on. I hope you enjoy nonetheless and things will get better following the pay-per-view

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 6th December 2007...Alright, welcome back. The Cabinet beating the Basham Brothers was an interesting match, not sure if the fans would care at all about it though. Interesting opening promo with John Bradshaw Layfield basically promoting his feud with Raven. Looking forward to their match at 'Ascent to Stardom'. I can easily see Raven win this, though. Like the scrolling effect to promote the main event. Matt Morgan losing to Rhyno was fine, best decision too. Reminds me how awkward your midcard division is. Jamie Noble and Elijah Burke would have been fun, better decision for Burke to win, though. Wasn't a fan of the handicap match, but it was just to weaken down Rob Van Dam on his way to Kurt Angle for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore and Boris Alexiev are all full of potential though, looking forward to what 2008 could bring them. Muhammad Hassan's rivalry with CM Punk is great, I can admit. But ugh, Hell in a Cell. Bad. It's too much for my liking. Masato Tanaka destroying Danny Doring was obvious. Stevie Richards and Doring is a weird team. Doring should leave, Richards can do better. Tanaka could be a potential threat. Lastly, nice six-man tag team midcard showcase with Paul London, Brian Kendrikc and Monty Brown beating Johnny Nitro and the World's Greatest Tag Team. Not a fan of the finish though. A decent episode, just not looking forward to Ascent to Stardom with that Hell in a Cell tagline.

A nice opening with Raven and JBL. I thought it did a nice job of hyping up their PPV showdown. A fine opener between Rhino and Morgan. Not surprise to see Rhino going over as it gives him momentum as he goes after Nitro’s strap. Burke/Noble seemed like a decent match. I enjoyed Angle slamming RVD through the announcers table. Holy poop. I don’t see Heyman actually taking that kind of bump, but good lord that was awesome. Hassan vs. Punk inside a HITC match will be great, I’m sure. Main Event would surely be a good match so a nice way to end the show. Overall, I enjoyed the show. Really looking forward to the pay per view, sir!

THE EXTREME REPORT ~ Marcus Golude
The decision to make the match between C.M Punk and Muhammad Hassan a Hell in a Cell match was made early Tuesday afternoon. McMahon felt the two have had a heated feud and there is no other logical way to end it. Heyman was very vocal about the idea, but ultimately lost the battle.
Creative is tossing around several names to take John "Bradshaw" Layfield's spot as General Manager. Some names include Ric Flair, Mick Foley. and Stephanie McMahon.
Paul Heyman receiving a Gut-wrench Powerbomb by the hands of Jack Swagger resulted in a broken wrist. It is unclear at this time if Heyman will be back for Ascent to Stardom.
ECW is expected to face a major makeover in the new year.
An idea to bring C.W Anderson back to the ECW brand was squashed. Anderson has been doing extremely well over on Smackdown.
There is a rumor circulating at this time that Bryan Danielson has signed or is very close to signing a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. We will have more on this story as information becomes available.

Cyber Chaos - D.H Smith defeated Stevie RichardsJBL’s Poison December 11, 2007 Boston, Massachusetts “Let the bodies hit the floor…”A video recap airs, showing highlights of last week, which include: JBL challenging Raven to a match at Ascent to Stardom, Jack Swagger tossing Paul Heyman off the stage, Kurt Angle putting Rob Van Dam through a table, C.M Punk challenging Muhammad Hassan to a Hell in a Cell match, and the massive six man tag main event. The ECW General Manager, John “Bradshaw” Layfield is shown in his office, a shot of whiskey in hand, and several days’ worth of bags under his eyes. He talks about the torment he has suffered through the last several weeks, and says that he will stop the torment this Sunday at Ascent to Stardom when he defeats Raven. Fighting Raven comes with a cost though, as he must surrender his power as General Manager. Layfield says that since tonight is his last night as GM, he might as well abuse the power a little bit with a series of JBL’s Poison matches. Rob Van Dam, Muhammad Hassan, Kurt Angle, C.M Punk and Raven will all face mystery opponents tonight. Additionally, the remaining Extremists (not participating in the five other matches) will be entered into a battle royal where the loser will be fired! Layfield wishes everyone luck and says Raven’s match is up first. Opening Contest – Raven versus Masato TanakaLayfield has pitted his archenemy Raven against one of the toughest men to ever step inside the ring. Tanaka is popular amongst the fans, but nearly everyone was rooting for Raven in this one. The two men exchanged shots and the match quickly ended up on the outside. Tanaka tossed Raven into the ring post and then dropped him rib first onto the guardrail. Tanaka makes a huge mistake as he grabs a chair and smashes it across the back of Raven, causing the referee to call for a disqualification. Winner: Raven The match ended via disqualification at 4:13 DJohn Layfield quickly appears back on stage and tells the referee to restart the match under Extreme Rules! Raven versus Masato TanakaExtreme RulesTanaka quickly smashes the chair over Raven’s head, and gains a notable advantage. Tanaka finds a trashcan under the ring and uses that to beat Raven some more. Tanaka is setting up a table as we cut to commercial break. ---------- As we come back from break, the two men are now fighting in the crowd. Raven finally begins to regain some offense and he plants Tanaka with a Neckbreaker on the concrete! The two fight back to ringside where Tanaka is once again able to take control. The two exchange blows when finally Raven desperately low blows the big man. Raven grabs a chair and hits some brutalizing shots to Tanaka. The two once again exchange blows and end up on the apron, fighting above an erected table. Raven rakes Tanaka in the eyes, kicks him in the gut, and plants him through the table with the Even Flow, for the win! Winner: Raven The match ended via pinfall at 12:14 BRaven is slow to get to his feet, but he has the full support of the crowd to give him the adrenaline needed to get up. John Layfield is shown in his office furious over his victory. The Miz is shown without his Entourage in the parking lot. He walks up to a door with a security guard blocking it. He tries to go inside, but the security will not let him, informing him that he has been fired. The Miz tries to fight his way in, but the security guard pushes him onto his backside, humiliating him, and causing him to flee. “Killdozer” Brian Lee is backstage with Ariel. Ariel is doing all the talking as she briefly recaps the history between Killdozer and Kevin Thorne. All good things must come to an end, and this Sunday will start the war to end it all. ---------- Rob Van Dam versus Monty BrownLast week, Van Dam had to face Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore and Boris Alexiev. This week is just as bad as he must face the dominant Monty Brown, whom is looking to recapture the ECW Television Champion this Sunday. The number one contender for the ECW Heavyweight Championship, Rob Van Dam, really put up a tremendous fight against Brown, but Brown is not an easy man to topple over. The crowd was dead split as both men are true crowd favorites. Brown did manage to score a lot of powerhouse offense, but Van Dam did manage to use his unorthodox style to hold his own. In the end, the match would be aborted, as Johnny Nitro and Matt Morgan ran down the ramp and began attacking Brown! Winner: Monty Brown The match ended via disqualification at 8:13 C+ECW Television Champion Johnny Nitro and his bodyguard, Matt Morgan, continued their vicious attack on Brown, but Van Dam was not just going to sit back and watch. Van Dam rescued Brown by attacking the two villains, causing them to flee up the ramp. Van Dam helps Brown up and the crowd goes wild. Brown signals to Nitro that after Sunday, he will be the new ECW Television Champion. ---------- We once again see the Miz outside, only this time he is wearing a wig and a dress! He once again tries to get past a security guard, trying to use his “good looks” to get past, but the security guard isn’t that dumb and he is once again refused entry. C.M Punk versus C.W. Anderson The crowd was stunned by the return of C.W. Anderson, whom has not been seen since he was drafted over to Smackdown. Anderson and Punk exchange blows before Anderson gets a mild advantage. Anderson works the back on Punk and plants him with a devastating Spinebuster, but Punk got his foot on the rope to break the fall. Anderson mounts some more offense before Punk manages to fight back. A few minutes later, Punk hits Anderson with a stiff kick to the head and follows up by the GTS to secure a win. Winner: C.M Punk The match ended via pinfall at 10:11 B+ C.M Punk is slow to his feet as “Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan appears on stage. Hassan and Punk have a final bitter stare down just days before their huge Hell in a Cell match! ---------- Backstage, Kid Kash and Jamie Noble, the Pitbulls, are standing by. They say A New Breed’s attack last week were unprofessional and vicious, which is why Pitbull Kelly is not here tonight. The Pitbulls than accept A New Breed’s challenge for Ascent to Stardom! “Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan versus Rhyno Muhammad Hassan is just days away from his huge Hell in a Cell match, but he will have no easy task getting there as he must go through Rhyno, whom has been trying to prove himself to earn a ECW Television shot. The two exchange shots and Rhyno gains a slight advantage, which Hassan clearly takes away. Hassan is just a vicious monster, and the “Man Beast” really is not match for him. Rhyno hits the last of his offense before Hassan puts him away with the Calling. Winner: “Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan The match ended via pinfall at 6:12 CFollowing the match, Hassan drops to his knees and raises his hands. Hassan is mentally ready for the challenge awaiting him at Ascent to Stardom/ ---------- The World’s Greatest Tag Team – Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas - has an interview with Josh Matthews. They are asked about their match this Sunday at Ascent to Stardom against London and Kendrick. The duo seems confident that they will easily win the ladder match and put an end to London and Kendrick’s hype. Main Event: Kurt Angle versus Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore & Boris Alexiev1-on-3 handicap matchLast week the three hard hitting wrestlers faced Rob Van Dam and this week they face Van Dam’s opponent, reigning ECW Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle. Angle actually manages to fight off the three men for a good amount of time, before the numbers game becomes too much to handle. Kurt Angle does manage to get some random offense in, but he just cannot get all three men down. Suddenly, the music of the Sandman hits and Sandman, Tommy Dreamer and Sabu appear on stage. This causes Dinsmore and Alexiev to go after their opponents this Sunday, but leaves Swagger in the ring by himself. Angle sees the opportunity and plants Swagger with an Angle Slam! Winner: Kurt Angle The match ended via pinfall at 5:11 BA massive brawl is still under away as Rob Van Dam begins his way towards ringside. Van Dam grabs the ECW Heavyweight Championship and enters the ring. He hands Angle his title and then smashes him with a heel kick. Van Dam ascends to the top rope and is looking for the Five Star Frog Splash, but ECW goes off the air before we can see the end.

JBL looking like a broken man to open the show seems like a cool image. Him abusing his power as it's his last night suits his character perfectly. Raven winning by DQ only for Layfield to restart is a cool twist, glad to see Raven eventually pick up the win. Miz fired? Interesting. Not big on another match ending in DQ (even though the last one technically didn't...) but I like RVD helping Brown fight off Nitro and Morgan.
Miz in a wig and a dress isn't something I thought I'd ever imagine. Swerrrrve with Anderson coming back to ECW? Him vs. Punk is fine, I like Punk getting a definitive win before Ascent to Stardom. Interesting to see Hassan put down Rhyno in such a definite fashion, him vs. CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell should be good. Not a big fan of the show going off the air before we can see what happens, but it does build up suspense.
The big show looks stacked, cannot wait to read it.

-I love that JBL was wasted and all. Him abusing his power makes some great matches for tonight. -Raven winning here was good either way. Decent start to the show. -I love the match restarting. The Extreme Rules fits Raven so him winning was expected. -Monty Brown over Rob Van Dam is huge for him whether it's by DQ or not. But I hope he doesn't take the TV Title. -CM Punk over C.W Anderson was expected. CM Punk's push has been very enjoyable so far. -I'm happy that both CM Punk and Hassan won their matches, as this gives them both some excellent momentum going into this. -Swagger, Dinsmore, and Alexiev unable to beat 1 superstar makes them look odd. But this is the ECW Championship so it's fine either way. -Good show.

Glad to see this back and the PPV is really stacked man. RVD/Angle will definitely be match of the night, but it doesn't stop there. Punk/Hassan hell in a cell, Tag Team Ladder match, a couple of grudge matches...it is definitely stacked my friend. Good luck with this one, I'm sure you will hit a groove soon!

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 11th December 2007...John Bradshaw Layfield setting up Poison matches was nice, looking forward to the quad-main event. Raven and Masato Tanaka was a hot opening contest, getting right into it. The disqualification finish was a disappointment, but I loved the idea of restarting the match under Extreme Rules. Raven winning was probably the better decision though. The Miz should have a good 2008 in my eyes on ECW. Monty Brown beating Rob Van Dam made Monty look great, I'll admit. Even if it did involve interference and disqualification. The interference was a nice segway too. CM Punk needed the win against CW Anderson, would have been a decent wrestling match, unlike what we've seen before this. Muhammad Hassan and Rhyno would have been an awkward match I believe. Lastly, great handicap match win against Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore and Boris Alexiev for Kurt Angle, looking forward to the pay-per-view this Sunday, but this show didn't hype the tag team division too well, more uppercard emphasis.

/// It was oddly a blast picking up this Sim from 10 years ago (how the hell has it been that long!?) I loved trying to remember what my plans were and not laugh at my booking skills from High School. I really tried using this show as a way to turn and make sense of some of the booking incase this actually goes a few more episodes. ///
Ascent to Stardom December 16, 2007
“Let The Bodies Hit The Floor…”
Ladies and Gentleman we are live on Pay Per View from The Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey!
Opening Contest: The Pitbulls - Jamie Noble & Kid Kash versus The New Breed - Elijah Burke & Sylvester Turkey
The New Breed are former ECW Tag Team Champions, holding the titles for a record 10 months. Since being dethroned as Champions, they have been stuck in a bitter rivalry with The Pitbulls. The feud truly escalated a few weeks ago with Sylvester Turkey savagely attacked The Pitbull’s manager Kelly Kelly. A victory tonight for either team should put them towards the top of contendership for the Tag Titles.
The Pitbulls start off hot, wanting revenge for the attack on Kelly. Burke eventually lands a devastating chop block on Kash, turning the tide towards The New Breed. Turkey and Burke get their heat, isolating Kash from his partner. Kash lands a well placed dropkick on Turkey, freeing him up to make the hot tag to Jamie Noble. Noble is on fire, laying out both of his opponents. Noble goes to put away Turkey with a brain buster, but Turkey makes a blind tag to Burke. As Noble plants Turkey, Burke plants him with a massive running knee. Burke hooks the leg and beats Noble clean.
Winners: The New Breed - Elijah Burke and Sylvester Turkey Via decesive pinfall at 9:15. C+
The crowd is shocked as the heroes failed to overcome The New Breed. Kid Kash checks on Jamie Noble, but clearly disappointed by the duo’s outing tonight. Tazz and Styles stress how let down Kelly Kelly must feel that her attack was not revenged.
In the parking lot, John “Bradshaw” Layfield is shown arriving alone to the arena in his signature white limo. JBL has relinquished his role as General Manager for his match this evening against Raven.
A video recap highlighting the rivalry between Johnny Nitro and Monty Brown airs.
Match Two: Johnny Nitro (c) versus Monty Brown ECW Television Championship
Monty Brown was crowned the first ECW Television Champion at Summer Slam in August. He lost the title to Johnny Nitro at October’s Hostile City Showdown. Despite losing his initial rematch, Brown has been granted this final chance at regaining the title, after weeks of decisive victories for the Alpha Male.
Brown is hot with the crowd. The two competitors change blows pretty evenly throughout the match. Nitro not able to overcome Brown’s strength goes for several quick pins and rolls ups. Nitro undoes the turn buckle covering and is looking for an advantage into the match, but Brown shoves him into the exposed turnbuckle before hitting him with the Pounce to regain the title!
Winner: Monty Brown (and new ECW Television Champion) Via decesive pinfall at 10:30 C+
In the back, we see Raven wrapping his wrists ahead of his battle with John Layfield.
Paul Heyman is standing by backstage with the ECW Originals, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman and Sabu. Heyman admits the young group of Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore, and Boris Alexiev have had the best of the Originals these last few months. He outlines the especially dastardly attacks against Tommy Dreamer and himself. But ECW is family, and that is why The Sandman and Sabu are by his side. Because through thick and thin, no one and no thing has ever been able to break this bond. Tonight, it all comes to a head, its loser Loser Leaves Town and ECW will not die.
Match Three: "Killdozer" Brian Lee & Ariel versus Kevin Thorn & Daffney
Formerly known as the Disciples of Apocalypse, these two friends turned enemies were the second reigning ECW Tag Team Champions, before dropping the belts to the aforementioned New Breed. After their title reign, they found themselves paired up as the lackeys of Raven. Kevin Thorne split up with Brian Lee after he came up short in consecutive single matches.
The match is completely one sided. Kevin Thorn puts Brian Lee with ease after a Crucifix Powerbomb.
Winners: Kevin Thorn & Daffney Via decesive pinfall at 1:45 N/A
A video package airs highlighting the feud of John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Raven.
Match Four: John “Bradshaw” Layfield versus Raven
JBL has served as the General Manager of ECW for the last year, after defeating Paul Heyman in a tag team match for the position. Over the last few months, Raven has tormented JBL with constant abuse and mind games. JBL finally snapped, but to get his hands on Raven came out a cost. JBL had to step down from being General Manager to get this match. Will the price be worth it? Or will Raven once again get the last laugh?
The match nearly immediately breaks into a brawl. Layfield throws some huge haymakers. Raven falls to the outside and from there the match is a complete brawl. Through the audience, into the backstage. JBL is really looking to have the better of Raven. As they head back towards the ring, Raven gets some offense with a back supplex on the entrance way. Raven grabs a chair and annihilates the skull of JBL. The men renter the ring, JBL a bloody mess, as Raven hooks the Raven Effect DDT. Before the three count, JBL’s stooges Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins break up the fall. The two men start stomping a mudhole in Raven while JBL comes to his senses. Ryder and Hawkins hold Raven up as JBL winds up for a Clothesline From Hell. Raven is able to duck down, pulling Ryder and Hawkins head first into one another. JBL is confused as Raven lands another Raven Effect. One, Two, Three!
Winner: Raven Via decesive pinfall at 15:25 B-
Once again Raven has gotten the best of John “Bradshaw” Layfield, but what will that mean for the Wrestling God’s future?
Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore, and Boris Alexiev are shown in the backstage heading towards the ring.
Match Five: Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, and Sabu w/ Paul Heyman versus Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore, and Boris Alexiev
The up and comers have had the best of The Extremist the last few months. It really begs the question: is it time for the Hardcore Legends to hang up their boots? The crowd is wholeheartedly behind the ECW Originals. The first few minutes see the legends have the upper hand in nearly every exchange with the young blood. We eventually see Dinsmore, Swagger and Alexiev get some momentum building as they get Dreamer locked into the corner. Eventually, the Originals can’t take it anymore and pandemonium breaks loose. The referee has lost complete control as the six competitors fight inside and outside the ring. Sabu takes out Swagger, Boris, and the Sandman with a jumping dive off the top rope. In the ring, Dreamer plants Dinsmore with a DDT. He hooks the leg but Paul Heyman pulls the official out of the ring! Dreamer is shocked as he turns right into a Jumping Cutter. Dinsmore hooks the leg and scores the fall.
Winner: Jack Swagger, Nick Dinsmore, and Boris Alexiev Via pinfall due to outside interference at 12:13 C-
After the match, Sabu and The Sandman rush the ring as Dinsmore escapes. Heyman and the three young bucks walk up the entrance ramp before more hands are thrown. The Extremist stand in the ring in front of a stunned audience. Joey Styles and Tazz somberly wish their friends farewell and demand revenge on Paul Heyman.
A video package recaps the epic three way elimination table match at Hostile City Showdown, which saw The World’s Greatest Tag Team defeat The New Breed and The Tag Team of London and Kendrick to win the ECW Tag Team Championship.
Match Six: The World’s Greatest Tag Team (c) - Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas versus Brian Kendrick and Paul London ECW Tag Team Championship Ladder Match
It was like a car crash on I-287; brutality, mangled bodies, and blood - but you can’t help but stop and stare. The climax of the match saw Benjamin and Kendrick on top of a ladder. Benjamin reaches and executes a beautiful release T-Bone supplex, causing Kendrick to land through tables on the outside as Benjamin crashed into the canvas. Haas and London find their way to the top of the ladder. After exchanging blows, Haas is able to flip the duo and using the ladder locks in a modified Haas of Pain. He releases the move as both men fall to the ground. Haas quickly gets to his feet and slowly climbs the ladder before grabbing the straps.
Winners: The World’s Greatest Tag Team (and still ECW Tag Team Champions) Via retrieving the title belt at 22:18 A-
In the back, we see CM Punk stretching ahead of the Hell In a Cell Match. A video package airs highlighting the bitter rivalry between The Second City Saint and The Anti-Christ, Muhammad Hassan.
Match Seven: CM Punk versus “Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan Hell In A Cell
At Summer Slam, Hassan dethroned CM Punk of the ECW Heavyweight Championship, whom had won the title from Mike Awesome at Wrestlemania. Two nights later, CM Punk was able to win a rematch against Hassan. Disgruntled by Hassan’s two decisive victories, Punk announced he would be stepping away from the square circle. In the ring, announcing his retirement, Hassan appeared and bloodied Punk, adding pure insult to injury. At Survivor Series, CM Punk returned to cost Hassan his championship in a match with Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle. The last month the two have been unable to keep their hands off one another. Tonight, they finally settle the score. Who is the bigger and better man? It will be settled inside ECW’s first ever Hell In a Cell.
Punk opens out of the gate with fiery offense. This is the old CM Punk, the man that was the ECW Heavyweight Champion. Punk is electric and the crowd is red hot for him. Hassan tries to retreat but there is no where for him to go. Eventually, with a well place spear into the side of the cage, Hassan takes over the offense. He meticulously tears CM Punk’s forehead open with the steel structure. He smashes his knees into the ring steps and really takes away all of Punk’s momentum. With Punk in the ring, Hassan slowly starts ascending the top rope. Punk gets a second wind, pops up and shoves Hassan off the top rope, causing Hassan to crash to the outside and into the Cell door. The pressure of the impact causes the door to pop open. The crowd roars as the two brawl around ringside. Hassan tries to escape and starts climbing the cell. Punk is in pursuit and the two men are now on top of the cage. The finish sees CM Punk hit the Go To Sleep to Hassan on the top of the cell.
Winner: CM Punk Via decesive pinfall at 24:48 B+
Joey Styles and Tazz discuss CM Punk’s victory before spinning into a video package for Kurt Angle versus Rob Van Dam.
Main Event: Kurt Angle (c) versus Rob Van Dam ECW Heavyweight Championship
Kurt Angle returned to ECW at the Hostile City Showdown, defeating Justin Credible in the opening contest to win the MITB briefcase. Angle went on to cash in the briefcase that very night, defeating Muhammad Hassan after a brutal match with Sabu. Angle retained the title in a three way between Kurt Angle, Hassan, and Rob Van Dam at the Survivor Series. Van Dam claims Angle cannot beat him one on one and tonight we find out.
Going in to this face versus face main event, we see an unexpected aggression from Kurt Angle. In the opening of the match, Van Dam has a slight advantage until Angle hits a poke in the eye. Angle uses the ring post throughout the match to really work on the knees of Van Dam. Angle is slow to release the Angle Lock when Van Dam has the rope for the rope break. This is a villainous Kurt Angle and the crowd is acting accordingly. The end of the match sees Van Dam perched on the top rope going for a Five Star Frog Splash, but Angle shoots up and lands a flying Angle Slam. Angle locks in an Angle Lock and Van Dam is out.
Winner: Kurt Angle (and still ECW Heavyweight Champion) Via submission at 22:09 B+
After the match Angle refuses to release the Angle Lock. Eventually, several referees and agents storm to the ring to stop the Olympic Gold Medalist. Angle slides to the outside and grabs a chair. He chases the personnel out of the ring and unleashes a brutal array of chair shots to Rob Van Dam.
Kurt Angle is still the ECW Heavyweight Champion and he has never been more dangerous.

Rhyno v Matt Morgan is a dream match for me. Nitro teaming with Benjamin and Haas is also awesome. I'm not sure about Brown as a face, but an Alpha Male/RVD match would be amazing too. Few people use Hassan, so that automatically wins my thumbs up. Especially against Rhyno. Double win.
Any fed which pushes Hassan and Alpha Male is worth following.
