WWE Survivor Series: Sunday 18th November 2007...Wow, I am shocked that I missed the last edition of ECW on Sci-Fi, but this should be a good read. Very nice layout, may I add. An amazing Survivor Series elimination match to start up for ECW; very great representation on the part of the ECW brand. I was glad to see Johnny Nitro become the sole survivor in the match, and I would really enjoy it to see Nitro break away from bodyguard, Matt Morgan. Paul London being the final superstar on the opposing team is also a good step; it could mean a solo run as London could attempt to shoot for the ECW World Television Championship. Lastly, a solid Three Way Dance for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship; best to see Muhammad Hassan eliminated first from this match as I think his character has a shelf-life and it has reached the end of its' true main event meaning now. Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam having a rivalry spanning from this could be good; brutal gimmick change for RVD and it was a great show from ECW's side. Just saying though, what was Paul Heyman's shocking announcement about? It seemingly was forgotten about after you mentioned it on the Extreme Report.

To clear up the Paul Heyman shocker; I was speaking about Paul Heyman the booker, not the on screen character, but I now realize I should have worded that better. The shocker was the return of C.M Punk during the three way dance. Sorry for that confusion.

well booked, especially with the concept of survivor series. a great 4 way world title hunt is in play, though i hope hassan isnt left in the dust of the other 3. the way youve booked him thus far, especially the build up to the 3 hour show, hes got great potential as a heel champ, with them 3... and potentially monty brown down the road... chasing the belt.
tag title match was booked well. nobody really came out looking weak, due to how they were finished off, except possibly elijah. nitro looked very strong, very michaels/diesel-esque relationship with morgan. the only negative to this match, is where do you go from here with all these teams. thats a nice negative though... well booked fued all around.
looking forward to the continuation of swagger vs the alumnis too.

- Wow, I just realized that this was posted. - Liked the opening contest and it's great that Nitro was the sole survivor. - Hassan being eliminated first is good, as it pretty much shows RVD/Angle to be main event.
Good 2 matches for the PPV.

- Tremendous write up here, and to say there's only two matches, quite an amount of text. - Paul London as the last man against Nitro was interesting, and I am glad to see Nitro win, as I'm a fan of him. - As well, WGTT retaining is fantastic! - CM Punk coming back was awesome, and really liked seeing him help eliminate Hassan. - RVD losing to Angle was expected, as Angle has just won the belt. - HEEL TURN?! Wow. Unexpected Swerve there. Will look forward to how u book this.
Two great ECW matches at SS. Good stuff Matt!

Right then, lets see...
Took a few reads for me to realise what the first match actually is ha ha. Johnny Nitro being the soul survivor could set up a monster push for him, seems to have been mayhem at the end. Nitro beating london I like as I prefer Nitro having the momentum to London. The Nitro + WGT team is, in my opinion probably my favourite team out of these. Crazy business at the end with all of the brawling, I feel this isnt over yet ha ha
I'll be honest; in the ECW Heavyweight Championship Match I didnt mind who won out of any of these 3 men - Im definitely a Angle fan, Hassan as champ would have been cool... as would RVD. Bit dissapointed Hassan was the first to be eliminated. Atleast a frog splash to a barbed wire table is a very good way of eliminating somebody. RVD tapping to Angle I'll be honest Im not a big fan of... Still, Angle being ECW Heavyweight Champion is all good.

Liked the way you put over in his match, and the concept of the match itself was creative. Heel RVD? Nice. A feud with Angle should be good. Maybe a "Old ECW" vs "New ECW" type thing. Interested to see where Hassan goes from here too.

A New Attitude November 20, 2007 Tampa, Florida
Cyber Chaos - Doug Basham defeats Lance Cade
“Let the bodies hit the floor…”
A dramatic video airs highlight the events that took place less than forty-eight hours ago at the spectacular event, Survivor Series. Johnny Nitro and the World’s Greatest Tag Team were able to retain their ECW Television and Tag Team Championships respectively after Johnny Nitro outlasted all of the opponents. In the main event, Kurt Angle was able to retain his ECW Heavyweight Championship; however, he had the assistance of returning Extremist C.M Punk who took out Muhammad Hassan. After the match, Rob Van Dam shocked the world when he beat down Kurt Angle.
C.M Punk makes his way to the ring to the delight of the crowd. C.M Punk talks about how about six weeks ago he went into retirement because he was unable to defeat Muhammad Hassan. Yet, for weeks he watched as Hassan mocked C.M Punk and tormented other Extremists. Frankly, someone needed to take a stand again Muhammad Hassan. Punk says that Hassan viciously attacked Punk during his retirement speech and that is something he has not forgotten; however, it is forgiven because as of right now, C.M Punk is coming out of retirement because he is here to end the career of Muhammad Hassan!
Rob Van Dam cuts C.M Punk off and the crowd is torn about cheering or booing the Extremist. Van Dam tells C.M Punk to shut up because nobody cares that he is back, but everyone is talking about how Rob Van Dam assaulted Kurt Angle after the Three Way Dance at Survivor Series. And for all of the fans demanding an explanation, it is quite simple. Kurt Angle was trying to take over Rob Van Dam’s show. Van Dam is Mr. Tuesday Nights; he is Mr. ECW and Kurt Angle isn’t! He is going to take the ECW Heavyweight Championship off of Kurt Angle and once again show the world what being Extreme is all about!
C.M Punk tells Rob Van Dam to quit his complaining because nobody cares anymore! Van Dam refutes by saying he is a better wrestler than C.M Punk ever will be! The two continue to bicker when suddenly John “Bradshaw” Layfield makes his way out. Layfield says that Muhammad Hassan is not scheduled to be here tonight; however, C.M Punk will get a shot at Muhammad Hassan soon! On December 16th ECW returns to Pay Per View with Ascent to Stardom! And the show will he headlined with C.M Punk taking on the “Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan! And since Van Dam and Punk seem to have some hostility brewing, what better way to get that out of their systems than the two of them facing off in tonight’s main event! The crowd explodes at the idea as Layfield walks backstage.
---------- COMMERCIAL BREAK ----------
In the back Nick Dinsmore is shown talking to Jack Swagger, but we are too far to hear what they are saying.
Kevin Thorne versus Trevor Murdoch w/ Lance Cade
These two men put on a decent match to showcase their usually overshadowed abilities. Thorne maintained a lot of offense and it seems that he is going to be heavily pushed soon. Murdoch does manage to score in some offense, but in the end falls to the Original Sin.
Winner: Kevin Thorne
After the match Ariel and “Killdozer” Brian Lee race down the entrance ramp. Lee begins to attack Thorne, but Ariel once again manages to keep these two men apart. Lee eventually manages to hit the Cancelation before walking off alone, leaving Ariel to check on his former partner.
The Tag Team of London and Kendrick are in the office of John “Bradshaw” Layfield. London and Kendrick say that at Survivor Series they pinned both Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin and they believe that they deserve at title shot at Ascent to Stardom. Layfield agrees, but says next week one of them will face off against either Charlie Haas or Shelton Benjamin and the winning side of the match will be able to pick the stipulation.
---------- COMMERCIAL BREAK ----------
Backstage Johnny Nitro is shown still celebrating his victory from Survivor Series with Matt Morgan. Nitro proclaims he is the greatest champion in ECW history and says that anyone who is brave enough to challenge Nitro will be defeated.
Stevie Richards is in the ring wearing black dress pants, a white button down and a black tie. He says the days of Extreme are over; the days of ECW have come and passed. It is time to usher in a new era, an era with proper censorships and limitations. It is time to protect the Superstars in this promotion, and he is going to do everything in his power to get it done.
Stevie Richards versus Al Snow
These two partners are now enemies after Stevie Richards turned on Al Snow last week. This match was rather competitive and the crowd was really looking for Al Snow to put Richards away; however, their hopes would be shattered. Richards hits the Stevie Kick for the victory.
Winner: Stevie Richards
Rhyno is standing by with Josh Matthews. Rhyno says that he failed at winning the ECW Television Championship at Survivor Series – that is clear; however, the motivation and desire to win that championship is far from dead! John “Bradshaw” Layfield steps into sight and he says that he is glad that Rhyno is striving for gold, because next week there is going to be a four way elimination match to determine contention for the ECW Television Championship.
---------- COMMERCIAL BREAK ----------
Kurt Angle is backstage with Josh Matthews talking about his victory at Survivor Series. Suddenly, Rob Van Dam comes running with a chair and viciously whacks Kurt Angle in the head, busting him open! Van Dam stands over Kurt Angle with a sick smile on his head before casually walking away.
Tommy Dreamer and Sandman w/ Paul Heyman & Sabu versus Nick Dinsmore and Jack Swagger
Jack Swagger has been involved in a bitter feud with the ECW Alumni since his debut, but last week he found a friend in Nick Dinsmore. Dinsmore and Swagger come off looking excellent in this match, but that does not mean it was a one sided match. Tommy Dreamer was looking to hit Dinsmore with the Death Valley Driver; however, Swagger kicked Dreamer in the gut, causing him to drop the hold and allowing Swagger to hit the Gut-Wrench Powerbomb!
Winners: Nick Dinsmore and Jack Swagger
After the match Sabu and Sandman go on the offense, eventually be rejoined by Tommy Dreamer. The three Extremist are pounding away at Dinsmore and Swagger, until Boris Alexiev hits the ring. Boris helps clean house and even lays out Sabu with an impressive Triangle Choke. Alexiev, Swagger and Dinsmore pose in the ring as Heyman looks on concerned.
---------- COMMERCIAL BREAK ----------
The World’s Greatest Tag Team is in their lockeroom. They say that next week one of them will easily defeat Paul London or Brian Kendrick, and then they will be able to curtail their careers at Ascent to Stardom.
The Pitbulls versus A New Breed
This was a crowd pleasing match as once again the ECW Tag Team Division proves why they are the best in the world. A New Breed seems highly unfocused, perhaps distraught after their disappointing loss at Survivor Series. The end of the match shocked everyone as Jamie Noble rolled up Elijah Burke to steal one!
Winners: The Pitbulls
The Pitbulls quickly flee from ringside as Sylvester Terkay and Elijah Burke look on stunned by what just happened. Burke is particularly angry as the duo has been on a losing streak as of late.
The Miz is backstage with his Entourage. He says that he is participating in the Four Way Elimination match next week and he will go on to Ascent to Stardom to win the ECW Television Championship! Monty Brown suddenly appears and says there is no chance in hell the Miz will walk out victorious next week.
---------- COMMERCIAL BREAK ----------
John “Bradshaw” Layfield is shown walking into his office where he finds Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins knocked out on the floor, covered in their own blood! On the back wall of his office “nevermore” is smeared out in blood.
Rob Van Dam versus C.M Punk
Wow, this match was everything you could want and more. A rather length encounter showed that C.M Punk has no ring rust at all. These two put on an amazing match and lots of false finishes kept the fans on the edge of their seats. In the end, the “Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan would award this match to C.M Punk. Hassan hit the ring with his infamous spike and nailed Punk hard causing the disqualification.
C.M Punk (Disqualification)
After the match Kurt Angle came to make the save. He nailed Van Dam and laid him out with an Angle Slam and followed up by attacking Muhammad Hassan. After a short brawl, C.M Punk and Kurt Angle stand victorious in the ring as Van Dam and Hassan retreat.
|
NEXT WEEK:
Paul London or Brian Kendrick will face off against Charlie Haas or Shelton Benjamin for the right to pick the stipulation for the ECW Tag Team Championship match at Ascent to Stardom!
Also, Rhyno will face off against the Miz, Monty Brown and D.H Smith in a fatal four way match to determine contention for the ECW Television Champion at Ascent to Stardom.

The Extreme Report -
ECW on Sci-Fi is headed in a new direction and it should become more evident week by week.
D.H Smith was sick with food poising this week which explains why he was not on the show; however, he is expected to compete next week.
Stevie Richards is not changing his gimmick back to his Right to Censor days, although it may have appeared that way this week.
Boris Alexiev is expected to receive a super push in the coming months as he impressed everyone down in development.

-Great open. Absent to Stardom looks great already. Looking forward to Punk/RVD. -Thorne beating Murdoch is a good call. Thorne hopefully will get into main event contention. -Love Nitro thinking he's the greatest champion. -Richards beating Snow is cool. I have a good feeling about this betrayal split-up rivalry. -Dinsmore and Swagger beating Dreamer and Sandman I like. Good to see a Swagger push. -Pitbulls beating New Breed? Decent at most. Really wanted Breed to win but still having some faith. -RVD and CM Punk put on a classic from what I read. Like Hassan's chair shot. DQ finish was great! Angle saving was good too as well as the post-match. -Great episode of ECW. Interesting build on the road to Absent to Stardom.

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 20th November 2007...Doug Basham is still under contract? Shame that Lance Cade had to lose to him on Cyber Chaos. A decent promo to start off the show with CM Punk in the ring; a great promo here to promote Punk feuding with Muhammad Hassan once again. I am looking forward to see how this goes from this point onwards. Intrigued by Rob Van Dam interrupting him, though; I could see Kurt Angle facing RVD for the ECW World Heavyweigh Championship as well as Punk against Hassan. Hmm, I like you trying to boost Ascent to Stardom, but Punk and Hassan could be built into a WrestleMania 23 rematch at WrestleMania XXIV if honest. Surely you could stretch it out that long. Good win for Kevin Thorne against Trevor Murdoch; Murdoch and Cade should have one last chance to prove everybody why they are a good team, if I am honest. Brian Lee and Kevin Thorne's feud interests me. Meh, the Right to Censor return. For some reason I am not a fan of seeing this, but a push for Richards is good. Al Snow needs one last push if you ask me. He still can draw, to be honest. Stevie Richards beating Snow was acceptable, however. Very good combination, is Nick Dinsmore and Jack Swagger; I would enjoy seeing this as a recurring team. Good win against Sandman and Tommy Dreamer, also. The Pitbulls defeating The New Breed is fine; a good chance to get Kid Kash and Jamie Noble back into the ECW World Tag Team Championship situation. And lastly, great main event with Punk and RVD, but honest a screwy finish let it down. Looking forward to where all of these storylines go; but admittedly I can't see Ascent to Stardom getting a good buyrate on December 16th, boasting a solid main event scene yet a lacking undercard. Good show, but I'd have liked to see the ECW World Television Championship fitted into the card; even if it were to clog up the main event.

11/20/07 ECW:
A good opening promo by CM Punk along with everyone else coming out and joining in. Van Dam/Punk in the main event shall be a good one.
Dinsmore and Swagger talking is interesting. Hmm.
Thorne over Murdoch is okay. Seemed like a decent contest. Nice attack by Lee on Thrne following the match.
Nice, love the "winner picks stipulation" matches, always interesting. Ladder Match, maybe?
Intresting Stevie promo. Right to Censor return? I would mark.
Richards over Al Snow is good. Seems like it would've been a good one.
Van Dam attacking ANgle backstage was cool. Van Dam coming off as a dick, is awesome.
BBoris Alexiev making the save after the tag team match is awesome. Can't wait to see whatcha do with him.
WGTT promo is decent enough. Hoping for Haas/Kendrick myself.
New Breed losing to The Pitbulls is a questionable decision but it's at least different.
A DQ finish for Van Dam/Punk is blah. Would've been great to have a clean finish but atlas your building storylines.
Keep it up.

I'm really looking forward to Muhammad Hassan taking on CM Punk with the ECW Championship on the line. Hoping for Hassan to retain. Hm, I have no clue whatsoever as to where you're heading with a possible Dinsmore and Swagger team. Brian Lee and Kevin Thorne's theme is interesting. I like it! I love the "Winner Picks The Stipulation" matches. Real interested to see what match Londrick and the WGTT will have at Ascent to Stardom. I would love a RTC-esque Stevie, sucks that you said that isn't what we'll be seeing. Boris Alexiev? Badass. Give him a monster push, because he was so much fun to watch in OVW. Would love a possible ECW World Tag Team Championship run for Jamie Noble and Kid Kash. I wish the WWE done more with them when they were around as a team back in 2006, I think it was. Would have liked a clean finish to close out the show with RVD and Punk, but it's obvious you want to keep both men looking strong ahead of Ascent to Stardom. So it's understandable why it went to a DQ finish.

Cyber Chaos - Colt Cabana defeats Super Crazy
Taking Off November 27, 2007 Roanoke, Virginia
Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle are shown exchanging blows in the parking lot, as road agents attempt to pry the two men apart. Kurt Angle is extremely vicious as he starts attacking agents trying to get at Van Dam, and he eventually breaks free! Angle and Van Dam once again exchange shots, but the agents finally separate these two men for good.
“Let the bodies hit the floor…”
The crowd erupts in a chorus of boos as the former ECW Heavyweight Champion, “Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan, makes his way to the ring, in his traditional Muslim robe. Hassan says that at Survivor Series he was humiliated, because C.M Punk decided to cost him the ECW Heavyweight Championship. It wasn’t too long ago that Punk was running away with his tail between his legs out of fear from the “Anti-Christ.” Yet, it seems the Straight-Edge Extremist has grown brave and once again wants to try his luck against his maker. Well, the match is made for Ascent to Stardom, but he does not want to wait that long. Hassan wants to once again get his hands around the throat of C.M Punk and this time, completely strangle the life out of him!
This causes C.M Punk to make his way out, with a microphone in hand. Punk admits that Hassan did get the best of him the last time they were in the ring; however, now things are different. When he was at home, he watched Hassan dominant this federation like no other, and he saw the fear in people’s eyes when they stepped into the ring with the “Anti-Christ.” Well, the fear that some have, is the passion Punk has! Punk concludes that if Hassan really wants to get his hands on him, then he should walk up the aisle and come get him!
Hassan begins to step outside the ring when the theme of John “Bradshaw” Layfield hits. Layfield rushes out and tells everyone to stay put, unless they want to get fired! Layfield is sick and tired of the inmates thinking they run the asylum! This in Layfield’s show and it is time people really start realizing who is in charge! So tonight, in the interest of the people, Hassan and Punk will be able to get their hands on each other, but it will be in tag team action! C.M Punk will team up with Kurt Angle to face off against Muhammad Hassan and Rob Van Dam!
Suddenly, the lights fade into a deep blue hue, and a spotlight falls into the rafters, revealing Raven! Raven is positioned in his crucifix pose as Layfield looks on horrified! Layfield demands Raven stops playing these mind games, but Layfield does not get his wish. The arena goes dark and when the lights flicker back on, Raven has disappeared!
----------
Rob Van Dam is shown walking down a corridor in anger, because of his brawl with Kurt Angle just minutes ago. Josh Matthews catches up with Van Dam and informs him of the blockbuster main event he is scheduled to compete in later. Van Dam pushes Matthews away, and says that “Mr. Tuesday Night” competes when he wants, not when he is told to.
ECW Television Champion Johnny Nitro, alongside bodyguard Matt Morgan, make their way to the announce table for the following contest.
Rhyno versus Monty Brown versus D.H Smith versus the Miz w/ Entourage The winner earns contention for the ECW Television Championship at Ascent to Stardom
D.H Smith is back to live television this week after missing last week’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi. The Miz is quickly knocked to the outside by D.H Smith, where he remains for most of the contest, leaving D.H Smith to battle with Rhyno and Monty Brown. Rhyno and Monty Brown seem to have a lot of hostility between them, and it showed as they exchanged brutal shots to one another. It is nice to note that D.H Smith looked very impressive in the ring with Brown and Rhyno. The end of the match saw Rhyno hit Monty Brown with a furious Gore; however, D.H Smith would plant Rhyno with the Running Powerslam! As Smith went for the cover, the Miz broke up the fall. Smith got to his feet, but the Miz was able to plant him with the Reality Check! The Miz taunts over Smith and is looking to pin him, but Monty Brown comes out of nowhere and nails him with the Pounce! Brown picks up the victory thereafter.
Winner: Monty Brown
After the match, Johnny Nitro stands on top of the announce table with his ECW Television Championship in the air. He points to Monty Brown and yells, “You can’t defeat me!” Brown just smirks and signals that he is going to win the ECW Television Championship.
“Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan and Rob Van Dam taking on C.M Punk and Kurt Angle - tonight!
---------
Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin are shown talking in the back. The two men are exchanging thoughts on the Tag Team of London and Kendrick. Benjamin says that at Ascent to Stardom, London and Kendrick will regret ever stepping in the same ring as them. Haas says that tonight he will go out there and defeat one of them, so they can choose the stipulation for their Ascent to Stardom match!
“Beautiful” Danny Doring is in the back and he is approached by Stevie Richards. The two men begin to talk, but we cannot hear what they are saying.
The Pitbulls versus the Full Blooded Italians
This was quite a throwback as these two teams have not met in the ring in several months. Both teams are looking strong and it seems that the ECW Tag Team Division is getting ready to see a new team in their main event scene. Little Guido nearly won the match with the Sicilian Stretch; however, Kid Kash broke the hold with a beautiful dropkick. The end of the match came when A New Breed appeared on the entrance ramp, distracting the Pitbulls and allowing the Full Blooded Italians to steal the victory with a schoolboy.
Winners: The Full Blooded Italians
The Full Blooded Italians celebrate their victory to the back as A New Breed walks closer to the ring. The Pitbulls are ready to fight, but A New Breed just wants to play mind games. They act like they are going to step in the ring, but walk away at the last second.
In the back John “Bradshaw” Layfield is asking personnel how he can get into the rafters of the arena.
“Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan and Rob Van Dam taking on C.M Punk and Kurt Angle – tonight!
----------
Jack Swagger is heading out Nick Dinsmore and Boris Alexiev to the ring. Swagger talks about how he has been out to destroy the remnants of the original ECW since his debut several months ago; however. Heyman has decided to go out swinging, which has caused Swagger to find some friends. Dinsmore grabs the microphone and says that for nearly a year, he has been in the back with his talents being underutilized. He sees that Jack Swagger is the future of professional wrestling, and with his aid, Nick Dinsmore is going to become a house hold name. Of course, he also brought along a friend. Dinsmore hands the microphone over to Alexiev who simply says he has come to Extreme Championship Wrestling to dominant all that stand in his way.
This brings out the ECW Alumni, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and Sandman, headed by Paul Heyman. Heyman says that they can try all they want, but they can never diminish the passion of the ECW Originals. There is no doubt who the better wrestlers are, but this is ECW where being a great wrestler may get you a cup of coffee, but you need to be extreme to make it to the top!
Swagger is insulted and yells that pure talent is the essential component of a professional wrestler! Swagger than says he wants to rid ECW of those four men once and for all, and proposes a match at Ascent to Stardom! Heyman agrees to the match, under one condition – the losing team leaves town, fired, never to be seen again! Swagger, who does not seem to be thinking logically, instantly agrees to the match! Heyman smiles as Dinsmore looks at Swagger unsure about his decision.
----------
John “Bradshaw” Layfield is shown ascending to the rafters.
Charlie Haas versus Brian Kendrick Winner earns the right to pick the Ascent to Stardom match stipulation
Shelton Benjamin and Paul London are at ringside for this highly competitive match. Haas and Kendrick go move for move in what will be a highly underappreciated match. The end of the match came when Charlie Haas provoked Paul London to try and interfere in the match. When the referee was dealing with Paul London, Shelton Benjamin hit the ring and leveled Brian Kendrick with a shot from the ECW Tag Team Championship. Charlie Haas hooks the leg and the referee turns around just in time to count the three!
Winner: Charlie Haas
Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin quickly flee from ringside as London storms the ring. London checks on Kendrick as Benjamin is handed a microphone. Benjamin announces that at Ascent to Stardom, they will face off in a ladder match! The crowd pops at the announcement as London looks on confidently.
Daffney is in the back with her tarot cards. Standing before her is Kevin Thorne, and she reveals three cards. The first card reveals that darkness is before him, the second a tremendous battle, and the third prosperity.
“Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan and Rob Van Dam versus C.M Punk and Kurt Angle – tonight!
----------
John “Bradshaw” Layfield has finally made it to the rafters. He slowly begins to walk down the catwalk and in the distance he can see a figure. He yells out “Raven! You’re dead!” As he approaches the figure, it is evident that it is a hoax, as only an actual raven rests. Layfield lets out a frustrated holler as Raven has once again gotten the best of Layfield.
“Beautiful” Danny Doring versus Al Snow
Al Snow is in action once again this week against Danny Doring, who has not been active in quite some time. Snow is extremely over with the fans and Doring picks up some decent heat when he hits Snow with a strong maneuver. Snow picks up a lot of offense in this match and is setting up Doring for the Snow Plow when Stevie Richards storms the ring and starts to attack his former partner, causing a disqualification.
Winner: Al Snow
Stevie Richards continues to attack Al Snow and Danny Doring joins in on the attack. Richards plants Snow with a huge Stevie Kick which seems to be the curtain call for him. Doing shakes hands with Richards and leaves, leaving Richards in the ring standing above his former teammate. Richards grabs a microphone and says that the fun and games are over. Unlike Al Snow, he could no longer stand these atrocious fans. These fans force the wrestlers to work on the road 300 days a year, push their bodies beyond true limitations, and put the wrestlers in early graves. Richards is here to clean up professional wrestling. He is here to save wrestlers from the fans.
“Anti-Christ” Muhammad Hassan and Rob Van Dam taking on C.M Punk and Kurt Angle is next!
----------
A video airs recapping the brawl between Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle that started off tonight’s show.
Muhammad Hassan and Rob Van Dam versus C.M Punk and Kurt Angle
A continuation of the two biggest feuds currently in ECW, this matchup is one of the biggest matches the brand is possible of making. We tend to see Van Dam taking on Punk and Kurt Angle fighting Hassan throughout most of the match; however, Punk does manage to get his hands on Hassan, and Angle almost gets his hands on Van Dam. Hassan hit the Calling on Kurt Angle, but Punk throws Hassan out of the ring before he could capitalize. Punk then throws his body to the wind to knock down Hassan. Meanwhile, Van Dam climbs to the top rope and lands a beautiful Five Star Frog Splash to pin the ECW Heavyweight Champion!
Winners: Muhammad Hassan and Rob Van Dam
Rob Van Dam celebrates his victory as Punk and Hassan exchange shots on the outside. Hassan is picking up a chair to attack C.M Punk, but the show goes off the air before the aftermath can be seen.

-Awesome opener for Hassan and Punk. Happy to see them at Absent to Stardom. -Monty Brown beating Rhyno is a nice move. Monty vs. Nitro once again sounds great. Hope Nitro wins. -FBI beating Pitbulls is adecent move. -Haas beating Kendrick is fine too. But the announcement made was perfect. Loving the Ladder Match set for AFS. Can't wait. -Great main event. Hassan and RVD beating Punk and Angle was the right call. Hoping Punk wins to Hassan at the PPV. -Another good ECW.

- Punk vs Hassan at the PPV shall be good. - Brown defeating the others is okay, Brown vs Nitro again hopefully ends it. - Eugene and Santino Dinsmore and Boris being with Swagger is interesting. - Haas defeating Kendrick is good. A ladder match between the teams sounds awesome. - Snow defeating Doring by disqualification is good, Stevie vs Snow I am expecting. - Lastly, good main event and RVD/Hassan going over is nice to see.
Good episode.

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 27th November 2007...Good opening promo to start up the show, with Muhammad Hassan in the ring. Nice interruption by CM Punk however, as we set up the feud between Punk and Hassan even more, with Ascent to Stardom in just a few weeks on pay-per-view. I just hope that you can build up Ascent to Stardom so it could be a credible pay-per-view that draws a good buyrate. Because right now, other than two or three matches, the pay-per-view seems like it'd be like December 2 Dismember all over again. Monty Brown with contention to the ECW World Television Championship seemed most obvious of the four competitors here; The Miz obviously wasn't going to. I could see Rhyno trying to get in the situation, and DH Smith obviously wasn't going to win given his little build before this. The Full Blooded Italians getting a win over The Pitbulls is a real surprise, not good for Kid Kash and Jamie Noble but acceptable that the New Breed got involved in the exchange. Jack Swagger has found a new entourage it seems; interesting, with Swagger accompanied by Nick Dinsmore and Borus Alexiev. Tommy Dreamer's interference was good also. Charlie Haas and Brian Kendrick is probably highlight of this episode; a great match there. Haas with the win is best. Yes, Al Snow beating Danny Doring! More of a Cyber Chaos match though, honestly. Stevie Richards attacking Snow...awww. Doring with Richards in Right to Censor is good to me. Lastly, solid tag team main event with Muhammad Hassan and Rob Van Dam beating CM Punk and Kurt Angle. A good show, that was weak in some places.
