Not even a matter of opinion; you're completely wrong. That's a fairly asinine statement. I think Jakks did a much better job of the pants than Mattel did.

So, I'm the only person who thinks that that Jakks HBK is crap? Unbelievable.

So, I'm the only person who thinks that that Jakks HBK is crap? Unbelievable. No, you sure aren't. The pants aren't the issue for me, FOR ME, it's "Which figure looks more like the real person?" And um, HBK wasn't a stout guy, with hugely wide shoulders, and stubby legs.

That jakks figure is a disgusting mess! Doesn't even look like Shawn. WTF. LoL black elbow pads??!?!?!!! He looks like an incredible hulk version of the showstopper. The mattel one is great. I know it's a basic but come on mattel, that tatt better be painted or your not getting my $9.99

They won't be getting my $10, because I hate HBK with pants, it's just so awkward to do a superkick with those kind of pants. I bought the EG HBK and I love it so that's what I'll use and will continue to use unless they do some classic HBK's.

The moc HBK didn't have them. One is on Ebay by the way.

^^^I thought he debuted them at Mania 21? Yeah, he did. For some reason I thought he wore them on Raw the week before WM21, but you're right, he did only start wearing them at Mania. I don't know why people think those red ones are from the 2005 Royal Rumble though.

I think it was his match against Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania years ago when he first started. I've hated it ever since. The tights w broken hearts were the absolute best.

The JAKKS version of this attire is a little better than Mattel's version, but overall I prefer the Mattel because I think the molds are more accurate and it looks more like HBK.

And um, HBK wasn't a stout guy, with hugely wide shoulders, and stubby legs. This exactly. Seriously, i'll admit the jakks attire looks nice details-wise but the rest of the figure is pretty hideous by comparison. The scan doesnt look as modern, the generic pants and overly ripped un-HBK like torso look awful by comparison and on the whole the mattel wins. Id take a far more better, realistic looking representation of the superstar (including the cross stitching moulded on the back) than a few black outlines on the grey dots.
