Hi there!
Can anyone advise me on the best kind of paint to use when touching up the old WCW Galoob figures (usually on their boots or backside where paint has rubbed off through play)?
All the Galoobs I purchased personally back in the day are in great condition because I really look after my stuff, but I recently won an auction for four Galoobs that had always eluded me (Sting in blue tights, Butch Reed and both of the Freebirds). The seller told me they were in "excellent" condition with a little bit of "hardly noticeable" paint-wear off the bottom of the boots. How wrong he was! There's paint missing and black marks all over them (hair, tights, boots, everything).
But it's not worth the cost of returning them, so I'm gonna have a stab at touching them up myself. So what's the best kinda paint to use on this type of plastic?
Thank you very much in advance to anyone replies, and karma will be awarded for useful info. Take care!

I'll leave your question here, but I think that the guys at customs support could answer your question better.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that STOM. As you can see from the time I posted, straight after posting this I realised the Customs Support section was more appropriate. No-one's replied there, though.

Very easy to touch up. Clean first with white spirit and a cotton bud then simply use model paint. The colours are a perfect match and are unnoticeable when done with patience.

I'm not discounting the use of model paint, or anything else that works for other guys, but I do it a bit differently. Vinyl Color paint works GREAT on plastics, even better than so-called plastic paint. Vinyl paint is nearly indestructable and easy to apply. You can get some of the more basic colors at a local Walmart or Auto Parts Store, and you can order more "exotic" colors at www.autobarn.comI use it all the time, and would swear by it. It comes in a spray form, but I also spray it in the cap and dip a brush in for details and smaller areas. Hope this helps!
