I find the subject of religion fascinating and obviously it makes up a huge part of human culture but I'm amazed that it still has such a following today. I think the morality (obviously ignoring the obvious manipulative groups) behind it is all well and good, but do some people really need the incentive of existence post-death to act morally? That's not to say I'm anti-religion, since there are some religion-funded charities etc. and it brings a sense of belonging etc.
Myself, the only thing I unquestionably believe is that nobody knows anything for sure. Science can and never will have ALL the answers. I dislike the nihilistic values of devout atheists as much as I do the idealistic values of Christianity. Similarly I hate those atheists who argue they have a universal truth yet attack religions for saying exactly the same thing. I guess to label it I'm agnostic :s.

I do not have a religion, I don't believe in gods or heavens or hells. I think its all ridiculous. That's nice and all, but I've never understood why some people have to throw words like, 'ridiculous' around. It's one thing to say what you believe in or don't believe in, but you don't have to be borderline insulting with it. --That's not just to you, that's to both sides. You know what, maybe it was harsh, but it's just meant to get my opinion across. I mean no disrespect to anyone. Here is my stance in better terms: I do not have a problem with people who believe in god or have a religion. I do not have a problem with people who are the opposite and don't believe. The part I think is ridiculous are the closed minded people who think what they believe is a fact, everyone else is wrong, and that is that.

I've seen you call a couple of guys, "damn mexican thugs", you at one time called the girl in my sig a, "freakish whore", and let's not even talk about your Applebee's thread. Ask people who know me, I might be a snide douche bag, but I don't judge people.

Christian, though I have little faith in Organized Religion. I feel that man has lost track of what God intended. I belive that the Bible, while it is the word of God, was transcibed by man, and thus has a margin of error. God did create the universe, but it didnt take 6 days. We have evolved, through both necessity of it (scientifically) and through a higher power (His hand guiding us) I still have anti gay marrige beliefs, but I do support gay rights. Extremism from both Athiests and Christians is wrong. *all aboard the flame train*

No. I'm not judging you. I'm making an observation based on what I have seen around this forum. You sir, are an ass, and a horrible example of a Christian.

I have always viewed religion as a good thing. If uitilized correctly, I feel you can find hope, direction, love, and worth.
It should never be a negative thing.

I consider myself an Agnostic but I lean heavily toward the negative of a diety existing.

I believe in a Higher Power. I just don't know who that Higher Power is. It's a toss up between Chris Jericho and Ric Flair.
