I only really had Classics in Jakks form. I had some current guys in Jakks but I am getting some of the new Mattel figures, just not going crazy. I suppose if I replace or buy enough of the Mattel, I'll sell off the Jakks in a lot on ebay. But I'd never get rid of the Classics. I just can't see Mattel making them all again or me wanting to spend all of that money on updates.

I kept my classics, but I sold off some of my current guys. After I got more and more Mattel figs I fell outta love with Jakks. I put my classics away for awhile till I get room to put the out somewhere. Probably after I get some of Mattel classic.

I pick and choose with Mattel figures since Im not interested in collecting another line full-time. Im never going to part ways with my Jakks collection for the simple fact that Mattel might not release all the CS figures that Jakks released. And remember that the TNA/NWA legends line is about to come out so that means adding more unreleased legends to the existing Jakks CS collection!

i still have all my Jakks but as i run out of shelf space some are losing their spots and ending up in boxes. I'll always display my ECW originals and my Deluxe Classics but current guys lose their spots.

I sold the majority of my Jakks collection but still have some MOC CS in boxes in my closet that is just sitting there waiting to be sold....LOL I collect the Mattel WWE figs now but I don't buy everything like I foolishly did with Jakks. I pick and choose now.

I'll never part with them. I don't need the cheap cash, besides the Jakks figures have some good memories behind them. I love Mattel, but it's hard to throw Jakks' product aside when I built such a great collection.

I am a Mattel fan and am rabidly collecting those currently,BUT I would NEVER get rid of my extensive Jakks collection. As good as Mattel is I don't think we will ever see the diverse roster Jakks gave us with RA ,AD,and CS releases over the years. And I still buy the occasional Jakks figure if its something I need to fill a space in my collection. I still desperately need Cyber Sunday Jeff Hardy and that AD Hardy with the green paint.

I kept mine, I haven't bought that many Mattel's yet so there would be a lot of empty shelves if I'd gotten rid of them.

so you're opinion means nothing here basically, but thanks for playing Your opinion on anything has never mattered anywhere, yet you continue to breathe, so thank you for playing. Oh, and if you're going to try to be a smart-ass on the Internet, learn the difference between "you're" and "your." You'll look like less of an idiot. Folks who have been selling off their Jakks stuff, have you been getting decent prices on it? I have about 300 Jakks figures (mostly given as gifts) that I have no need for. what are you basing that on? the fact that I called you out on posting useless information in a thread? The question was for people who collect mattel figures, you never bought many jakks figures, and you don't buy mattel figures. Hence your opinion means nothing here. i'm not saying that out of spite (like you did to me) I'm saying out facts. Also i know the difference It's called a type-o

I recently went through my Jakks collection and only got rid of some duplicates I had. I'm running out of storage room so some that were MOC had to be opened. I will always keep my collection that started with Hasbros.

Thanks everyone for the continued feedback.
As mentioned when I started this thread - I don't collect Mattel, but I continue to part with my WWE Jakks figures - and I can say - they are still selling well despite the new competition. Sounds like many Mattel collectors are hardcore and won't stray too much.
