After seeing the magnificence of the San Diego Comic Con WrestleMania XV Undertaker, I'd love to see Entrance Greats use the Elite style of articulation from now on.
For the premium price we pay, I'd like to be able to do a few more wrestling moves with EGs. It feels wrong that you can't properly do HBK's muscle pose or put Michaels in a sharpshooter. For $20+, it'd be nice to have that option.
For those that don't like the look of Elite articulation, it shouldn't be a problem since all the entrance gear covers most of the extra joints anyway.

Elites pretty much are EG in Elite form though, like the Christian for example, the coat and pants is something I'd expect from the EG line.

I think the EG line is just A good way to give basics some accessories. I do admit I would rather have Million Dollar Man and Piper in elite form but thats what the legends line is for anyways. I'm sure A legends Shawn Michaels (along with DiBiase and Piper) will be made in due time though. I for one cant allow myself to buy an EG. $20 for A basic is a little harsh to me although I might need to buy DiBiase mainly for the belt.

Not unless they change the hip design of the Elites. I've said it before and I'll say it again...Any Elite in trunks looks like they have a reverse wedgie. They need to add part of the trunks to the upper hip piece to combat that. The guys in long tights look great, but the guys in trunks look odd. So Baisc's with the sound base (Which is what makes the Entrance Greats greats to me) is fine with me.

^Of course I'd care, but we don't know if the price would go up. My point was that it feels backwards that higher price premium product wasn't Elite to begin with.
I agree wholeheartedly about Elite trunks. Even just an extra sliver of paint would do the trick.

For $20 we should be getting an elite figure

You can assume generally as with most things if you're paying a certain price now and you want what's considered an "improvement" the price will go up. So, it's fine to want these figures to be Elite, just expect them to cost more, plain and simple...

I turned my extra Piper that I picked up on Ebay into an Elite Piper

Either way for me. If they were Elite I'd say great. but I don't mine that they are basic either. It does strike me as odd that as you go up in price with the figures, the top reverts back to basic.

I'd say turn them to elites and loose the sound base keep the price at $20, however I think that is what the Defining Moments line is gonna end up being.
DM0 SDCC Undertaker
DM1 Macho Man HBK
and carry the line on from there.
