Never thought id miss them after that very very long Oct 08-Oct09 stint by them, but tbh right now i would rather see the Main Event Mafia open every impact with a promo than see Flair cut himself open every week.
Anyone else miss the main event mafia?

I honestly was not a fan of them. I mean for the first few weeks it was cool, but they got stale pretty quick in my opinion.

I just miss that pre-Hogan era in general.

This is still one of my favorite moments, even though it was after the MEM ended.

they definetly had their moments, but not enough direction and the 'team tna' wasn't strong enough to really help.

I just miss that pre-Hogan era in general. This. The MEM vs. Frontline story was ok, but the Frontline team having people like Rhino and Team 3D kinda ruined the whole Young vs. Old angle.

The only redeeming thing to this whole storyline is if Christian would of resigned with TNA and lead the Frontline against the Main Event Mafia. As it was, The M.E.M. just died off after a bunch of singles matches they lost on a PPV and they were randomly broken up on the Impact following.

It had promise until they botched the feud by having non tna originals fighting them (Team 3D/Rhyno) and then adding Samoa Joe/Taz in it was the final nail in the coffin......after that i stopped caring.
