Looked back a few pages and couldnt find a thread for it so i thought i'd make one  Mario is invited to the Star Festival by Princess Peach, a time when Star Bits rain down from the skies over the Mushroom Kingdom. On the way there Mario finds a Luma, who immediately befriends him and grants him the ability to Spin. Shortly thereafter, Bowser, who has grown in immense size, invades and attacks the Mushroom Kingdom. Kidnapping the princess, Bowser escapes into outer space to create his empire at the center of the universe. Mario is given control of Starship Mario, a mobile planetoid in the shape of Mario's head, by Lumas in order to fly across the universe in pursuit of Bowser and the princess. I am sure I will have to get it. My girlfriend loved the first one so I figure I have to get this and Lego Harry Potter for her.

Isn't that the EXACT plot of the first game?
I never got around to finishing the first game. It was fun while it lasted, but I got bored after about a month and never bothered to go back to it. So, I highly doubt I'll be picking this one up.

If you guys want a deal, Walmart.com has free shipping along with a $20 e-gift card for the standard $50 price.
Screw that, it won't even arrive until early June. Gamestop.com has the $20 e-coupon deal, but also with the code "F2D" you get free 2-day shipping on all pre-orders until the end of May. Definitely going with that one.

I just wish the black Wii was an option at launch. I have very fond memories of the Nintendo Revolution days. Four years later and here it is, haha.

I'm looking forward to playing this game. I really like the first game, hopefully the sequel will be more of the same. And if that plot summary is any indication, I won't have to worry about that too much.

Tomorrow at the Best Buy in Chicago is a launch event. They're giving away prizes for costumes, as well as for attending. The first 100 people in line get a framed piece of artwork, the first 500 get a SMG2 bag, and everyone gets a chance to play the game before midnight. Totally going, will report back here with picture-roos.

Ashley got it today, everything was awesome. I was very disappointed with the Collector's Edition Strategy Guide though. It was like I was paying $30.00 for half of a book. It was much less "guide" than the really nice original CE Guide was. Regardless, I love the new suits, and I can't get enough of the platforming. Great job from Nintendo once again.

I hope there isnt that many rollerball levels, that and cosmic prankster levels weren't my strong points in the first game

As of right now, on GameRankings.com, it is the highest rated video game ever. Just edging out Ocarina of Time. The original game did that too, but slowly slipped to second. Now the top three are Galaxy 2, OoT, and Galaxy 1.

Question for you guys,
Do you guys go for the star straight away no shit, and only getting the start bits that get in your way? or Do you explore the level collecting everything but obviously taking more time.

I do a little scouting, since it's been burned into my psyche that Mario games have secret pipes or boxes all over the place, but I don't get insane about it.
