Hey guys,
It’s been a while since I’ve posted any of my latest “vintage” buys on the Jakks board, so I come here bearing, well, a lot of ECW figures that I recently won on eBay.
I used to have a pretty decent collection of the OSFTM figures, but I lost many of them over the years due to various reasons. Here is a photo of what I retained from my original collection (note: RVD and Rhino were poorly customized from their Thrill Zone/Champion Clashers figures, respectively).
The Shane Douglas is in so much better shape than the others because I won it in a random eBay lot of MOC figures two to three years ago.
So, I came across a few MOC lots on eBay a little over two weeks ago and decided to finally go ahead and start rebuilding the collection I once had. All in all, I bought 23 (one of each wrestler made!) MOC ECW figures for a little over $70 shipped, or $2.80 each.
Even better, half of the cost was absorbed by a bunch of old eBay gift cards I finally got around to using.
Now, I’m on the lookout for some of the repaints and the MIB TRU Ring Exclusive, although I’m in no rush considering everything I just obtained.
Here are some MOC and, since most of my collection is loose and I prefer to keep it that way because of space constraints, loose pics that I hope everyone enjoys.
Oh, and I was lucky enough to receive a Shane Douglas with a larger head to counter the smaller-headed version that I already own.
Lucky break, eh?
Here’s a group shot of the MOC figures with the remnants of my older loose collection.
And a few of the back cardings (I plan on scanning them in for a clearer view soon).
I have other MOC pics available if anyone is interested, and I definitely plan on taking better, detailed loose pics on a later date. Until then, here are some loose pics that I took earlier this afternoon.
By the way, my favorite ECW figure is, and probably always has been, Mike Awesome. Partly due to the ECW Heavyweight Championship belt, but also because I think it’s a great likeness and a domineering figure, as it should be, over the rest of the line.
Well, thanks for taking the time to look and I hope the pics didn’t take too long to load.
