F4WOnline.com is reporting that the original creative plan for Drew McIntyre on Smackdown was to hold off on the firing angle until after Over The Limit. The plan then called for Matt Hardy to demand that Teddy Long reinstate McIntyre so that the two could face each other. WWE also talked of making the angle a viral story line by having WWE utilize Twitter to ask Matt Hardy fans to help him get McIntyre rehired.

hopefully the new plan is for Matt hardy to either cost him his title Sunday or take it from him soon.

I like Drew and as for Shamus so many people deserved the Title more then he did.

I like Drew and as for Shamus so many people deserved the Title more then he did. I don't think McIntyre is necessarily bad, nor do I think Sheamus is that bad. The problem is, they just don't cut it. Sheamus is just FINALLY starting to get over a little bit after nearly six months of forcing him down our throats only to hear crickets. They're doing the same thing with McIntyre, albeit a little bit slower. WWE used to create stars naturally - they would let the crowd guide them. That's how guys like Stone Cold, The Rock, and John Cena became the company's biggest stars, the crowd guided them. There are plenty of guys that have the crowd's support right now that WWE just chooses to let simmer. McIntyre and Sheamus, on the other hand, don't have that star power, and WWE is trying to force it. |
