Bad mistake, our goalies don't have the confidence. Good match so far though.

Good 1st half, Donovan & Dempsey played well for USA. England need to watch out for them more.
Green better bounce back and forget all about that mistake..

Good match. Would have liked a clear cut winner though.

Very disappointing. Same old England. Luckily it's an easy group so we should win the others, as should USA.

I predict this thread will die for Americans around 20 mins into the game on saturday, after Heskey scores his hat trick... Srsly though, I'm fairly confident. Your defence is pretty poor, and will poop themselves when they see Heskey coming at them, freeing up Rooney to score. Hey Buddy!!!!!!

1 Point is better then 0. So I'll take it.

I hate ties, but it has to be a moral victory for the US. To compete with a soccer power like England on a big stage has to boost their confidence. As I said before, both will come out of this group. Hopefully the US can carry this over and do well

Yeah well done guys, USA did well. Hopefully you're not bored with it already, stick with it cos you should win the next two games with ease. Dempsey and Donovan did really well, Onweyu was solid at the back.

While it was a good game, the US is lucky to escape with a tie. Doubt they'll complain though

USA may struggle with Slovenia, who aren't a bad side, but it's not a doubt that they'll progress alongside England. They were very lucky tonight indeed.

We should've won. America didn't really threaten, it was totally Green's fault they got a point.
At least hes out now, hopefully Hart will play instead.
Also, my Heskey love was vindicated, he was the best player on the pitch.
