Dear Chuck, How the can you be doing EVERYTHING right in the fight UP UNTIL THE LAST 7 seconds? You dumbsh*t. Why be aggressive? Ya know, that has been your problem for I don't know how long now. Good riddance.

Man, talk about a glass chin. That didn't even look like that hard of a punch by Franklin. It just looked like he bopped him on the chin and even with a shot like that, it dropped Chuck out cold.
I think in Chuck's case, he's just taken one too many big shots over the years and he can't take anymore and tonight is a prime example of that. Chuck's got a serious glass chin and just can't take a solid shot anymore, hell, not even a jab and it still drops him right out.
I truly hope we've seen the last of Chuck Liddell in the UFC and in MMA. He's just suffered too many bad losses. He's done, in my opinion.

Oh, of course. People can and will say what they want about Mirko, but that mother er showed true heart and skill throughout the entire fight. Got dropped twice and never really showed signs of weakness. Started to look smoother in the clinches and striking. The Axe Kick was TREMENDOUS. That flurry at the end really got me excited and the submission even made me happier. Say what you want, Cro Cop is the MAN.

He's been done ever since he lost to Rampage for the second time. He was doing very, very good against Franklin, but he made a very DUMB and COMMON move by him, which was being unnecessarily aggressive.

Good riddance. I'd like to see you take that punch from Franklin. You'd be in the hospital crying. Chuck went in for the kill, got countered. Big whoopy do. Happens to everyone. Regardless, Chuck looked fantastic, best since the Wanderlei fight. Was doing extremely well, but nothing heals a damaged chin/brain. I'd also like to thank Rich for taking 3 extra shots on Chuck when he was CLEARLY UNCONSCIOUS. Rashad picked up points in my book for stopping when Chuck was out. Very sad ending to the career of one of the greatest of all time.

I think it was a combo of a damaged chin/brain and a punch just being right "On the button". Ask Forrest when he fought Anderson. The punch wasn't strong but it broke Forrest, whos one of the toughest in the sport

I never said the punch was soft. ANYONE can get KO'ed from a punch in that spot. By the way, Rich didn't hit Chuck after he KO'ed him. He hit the mat once, then stopped, then Herb Dean stepped in.

Nah, he didn't hit.
Even if so, fighters do that all the time. Their job is to finish the fight, and it's the referees job to officiate the fight.

The first one was with franklins broken hand as chuck was going to the ground and then the one to finish the fight.

That second hit with the broken hand was nothing. He hit the mat the 2nd time. I'll make a gif soon.

Anyways, I was rooting for Chuck. But I don't know if that was just the MMA fan inside of me not being able to accept the fact that it was Liddell's last fight if he lost.

Oh, I was rooting for Chuck too. I figured Franklin was the better fighter all-around, but I really, REALLY wanted Chuck to win. Oh well.

Looking back, it's really amazing how large of a crowd reaction Mirko got when he won. Seems to have been the biggest one of the night.

But i guess Rory is a given with him being the hometown fighter. Speaking of Rory, i cannot believe the fight got stopped like that. It would of been okay if Condit kept wailing away on him, but it seemed like he just stopped and took a breather after those last blows, and then the r stopped out of nowhere.
