They stand find for me, this is animation related though so you may get better luck on that board.

The beauty of the Elites is that you can usually manipulate the body in such a way that the weight distribution allows it to stand. Granted, sometimes it requires a bit of a hunched over pose with one knee slightly bent, but you could probably create an interesting pose.

My Elite Underatker I picked up the other day is so loose I can't stand it up at all. Pretty disappointed to be honest with you.

Turn the feet outward a scoach. The pressure of the joint pressing into the ankle stops the forward motion.

super glue trick... or clear nail polish.. drop some on that joint... keep moving the joint untill its dry... will make it less loose.

I usually take the figures boots or shoes and I make one boot or shoe point one way and the other point the other way. That is my only problem with Mattel. It is a problem with the figures falling, and a plus cause the figures can move their ankles.

Basics give me no trouble whatsoever. With Elites its like 1 out every 3 elites CAN stand with no trouble and the rest just knock down my dosplays on purpose. Most of Elite 3 seems better than the rest. But Elite 1,2 and 4 have been systematically disrupting every setup I do. The irony in this is that they seem to stand just long enough to capture some good poses with.
