Something’s wrong. I am a multi-time Heavyweight Champion. I am the All Japan Unified Tag Team Champion with Kea. I shouldn’t be losing like this. Everyone loses. I understand that, but I am a champion. I am the founder of Pro Wrestling GEN. I am the vice president of GATTACA: PROJECT. I should be better. I need to be better. There is no excuse for me to be doing this bad. Manabu Soya is a great wrestler. Shuhei Taniguchi is a great wrestler. Masayuki Kono is a great wrestler. Hell, Katsuyori Shibata is a good wrestler, but I shouldn’t be losing to him in no 3 minutes. That’s shameful to me, that’s shameful to my trainers, Masanobu Fuchi, Jumbo Tsuruta, and Giant Baba. With Marufuji injured, with Akiyama coming in and out, with Kono and Sekimoto and Taniguchi exploding, its time for me to step up, It’s time for me to be Soulfire again.

- Former Kensuke Office member Chris Prospect, battled the new Office recruit Jun Nishikawa. Nishikawa put up a good fight, but was nothing for the former champion to finish. After the match, Prospect helped Nishikawa up, and shook his hand, wishing him luck in the future.
- Justin Tyger is bound and determined to no longer be a “humiliation”, losing to lesser known guys, when he feels he should be dispatching them easy, and becoming the champion he should be. Tonight, he teamed with fellow former All Japan wrestler Kentaro Shiga, to battle Kazuchika Okada and Katsuhiko Nakajima. Tyger and Shiga used their experience to keep the young wrestlers at bay, but out of nowhere Okada blazed the two, before he locked in the Octopus Stretch on Tyger! Tyger struggled and fought, but had to tap out! As Okada celebrated, Tyger hit the mat in in disbelief. Okada walked over Tyger, helping him up. As Okada extended his hand, Tyger stood in silence, before walking off in disappointment, leaving Okada hanging.

Kinda glad to see Val here although I guess he'll be called something else due to his copyright, would have looked an indy name instead of ex WWE'ers like Val and Knox, great to see Omega doing well, Daisuke beating Hijikata to get ready for Marufuji is good, it should be a show stealing match, really happy Go is returning one of the guys I have seen most in this due to his work with ROH, pulling for Fuji to retain and Go to win his tag match so you can set up a future match between the two, good luck and keep this up.

I am 100% going into this match. I am not scared. I will prove myself to everyone, that I am the best Heavyweight wrestler in the world today. My shoulder will be no excuse. Daisuke Sekimoto is good, and he will come in this match very determined. He’s been waiting for this day since June, but none of that makes him as good as I am. None of that will numb the pain of a Tiger Flowsion. None of that will numb the pain he will feel after I pin him and retain my title. I am the best wrestler in the world today, without question or doubt. I will show that to everyone, when I pin Sekimoto with ease.
I will be champion forever, Sekimoto has no chance to beat someone as good as I am, never.

Akihiko Ito is Returning!
- Akihiko Ito, who retired earlier this year in the midst of a great run in Pro Wrestling GEN to attend school, will be returning to pro wrestling, and debuting in GATTACA: PROJECT!
“I went out into real life to go to school and explore other things, and while I had a great time at school, I miss wrestling. I feel like it’s time to come back to the ring and pick up where I left off. While I know people disapprove when wrestlers retire and come back later, I hope I will be accepted by the wrestlers and fans.”
- A month before Ito retired, he participated in a 10 Match Trial Series, the matches were as follows:
1/2/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 1st: Akihiko Ito beat Ippei Ota (8:42) with a Missile Dropkick 1/3/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 2nd: Kotaro Suzuki beat Akihiko Ito (13:53) with a Tiger Driver 1/4/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 3rd: KENTA beat Akihiko Ito (10:21) with a Go 2 Sleep 1/5/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 4th: Katsuhiko Nakajima beat Akihiko Ito (12:36) with a R-15 1/6/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 5th: Naomichi Marufuji beat Akihiko Ito (12:44) with a Shiranui 1/7/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 6th: Yoshinobu Kanemaru beat Akihiko Ito (11:13) with a Touch-Out 1/8/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 7th: Koji Kanemoto beat Akihiko Ito (13:07) with a Koji Clutch 1/13/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 8th: Jun Akiyama beat Akihiko Ito (9:51) with an Exploder Suplex 1/17/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 9th, Junior Heavyweight Championship: Chris Prospect (C) beat Akihiko Ito (16:28) with a Cradle Driver (5th Defense) 1/20/10 - "THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 10th: Kenta Kobashi beat Akihiko Ito (9:41) with a Lariat
- Ito wants to extend this to a 20 Match Trial Series, to immediately immerse himself into the GATTACA wrestlers. He says he will have new opponents, but is excited to face some guys he lost to previously to prove himself in possibly beating them. The 11th match was announced, but no date was set:
“THE ROCK SHOW” Trial Series 11th: Akihiko Ito vs. Chris Prospect
- Ito also stated he would love to reunite with him former tag team partner and BURNING stablemate Justin Tyger, pending Tyger’s agreement. “Tyger was fully behind my decision to retire and explore my schooling and other ventures in my life, even if it disrupted our teaming and the company’s plans for me. I believe he agree to once again team without a doubt.”

All Japan Unified Heavyweight Tag Team Championships: Taiyo Kea and Justin Tyger (C) beat Katsuyori Shibata and Kazunari Murakami [BML] (17:50) when Tyger used a Northern Lights Bomb on Shibata (3rd Defense) 6. Unified Junior Heavyweight Championship: Atsushi Aoki beat Fujita Jr. Hayato (C) (18:42) by Referee Stoppage (Cross Armbreaker) (Hayato fails in 4th Defense) - 6B. Unified Junior Heavyweight Championship: Fujita Jr. Hayato (C) beat Atsushi Aoki (1:08) with a Helm (4th Defense) 7. Special Tag Match: Jun Akiyama [NOAH] and Go Shiozaki [NOAH] beat Shuhei Taniguchi and Masayuki Kono (21:27) when Akiyama used an Exploder Suplex on Taniguchi 8. Heavyweight Championship: Daisuke Sekimoto beat Naomichi Marufuji (C) (25:25) (Sekimoto hit Marufuji with a German Suplex from the Entrance Way into the Ring) (Marufuji fails in 3rd defense)
- In the opening match, Manabu Soya lead Fale Simitaitoko and Takashi Okita into battle, facing Kazuchika Okada, Kenta Kakinuma, and Shota Takanishi. Soya and Okada went all out on each other for the majority of the match, before Fale came in, throwing Okada’s whole team around, before signaling in on rival Kakinuma, giving him a huge Double Arm Backbreaker, before locking in the Crab Hold. As Soya and Okita held Okada and Takanishi back, Kakinuma thrashed around for a way out of Fale’s hold, but gave up to the pain. After the match, Fale shook hands with Soya and Okita, before walking over to his heated rival Kakinuma. The two stared off for a moment, before Fale slapped Kakinuma! Kakinuma rubbed his face a moment, before slapping Fale back! Fale, staring intensely, cracked a smile, and extended his hand, which Kakinuma accepted!
- Veteran Kentaro Shiga teamed with Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega to battle the Kensuke Office teaming of Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kento Miyahara, and Satoshi Kajiwara. The six juniors put on a fantastic match, that saw Miyahara nearly pin Omega to end the match, but was intercepted by Shiga. In the end, Nakajima and Shiga were in the midst of a huge exchange, before Shiga blocked a kick from Nakajima, and locked in the Shiga Sleeper! Both Miyahara and Kajiwara ran in to break it up, but were caught by Ibushi and Omega! As Omega hit Kajiwara with a Croyt’s Wrath, and Ibushi hit Miyahara with a Golden Star Bomb, Nakajima tapped out to Shiga!
- In his 3rd Trial Series match, Ryuji Hijikata battled Munenori Sawa in a stiff war. These two know each other very well from BattlARTS, and it showed, as the two had reversals and tricks for each others big moves. In the end, Hijikata was down, and as Sawa charged to hit his Shining Wizard, Hijikata rolled out of the way! As Sawa regained his footing and spun around, he was met with a huge kick to the face, that sent him crumpling to the mat. Sawa floundered around for a moment, before the referee ended the match, giving the victory to Hijikata!
- In their second match, two time Junior Heavyweight Champion, two time Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, and one time Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Chris Prospect battled All Japan’s rising junior KAI! KAI owns two victories over Prospect, one in singles and one in a tag match. Prospect was out for revenge, throwing everything he had at KAI, but through it all, KAI took Prospect down long enough to climb the top and slam Chris with another Splash Plancha to win another time! After the match, the two stared off in the middle of the ring, before prospect extended his hand. KAI looked at it in hilarity, laughing at Chris’ handshake offer, before walking off.
- Katsuyori Shibata and Kazunari Murakami have been on a tear through GATTACA: PRO. The two seemingly can’t be stopped by anyone, including one half of the All Japan Unified Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Justin Tyger, who has been pinned twice this week by Murakami, and was pinned in just 3 minutes a month ago by Shibata. Tyger and his friend Taiyo Kea defend their titles tonight against the seemingly unbeatable Big Mouth LOUD team. Shibata and Murakami had an early advantage over Tyger and Kea, using their MMA expertise over the wrestlers. While Shibata and Kea were trading kicks back and forth, Tyger and Murakami throw wild punches at each other. As Shibata gained control over Kea and threw him out of the ring, Tyger kneed Murakami in the head, sending him falling out of the ring! Shibata and Tyger charged at each other, Shibata threw a knee, which Tyger ducked! Shibata turned, and was met with a Tyger Jumping Knee! Shibata stumbled, before Tyger charged and hit another one, sending Shibata down! Tyger threw up a fist, receiving an “OH!” from the crowd, before he grabbed Shibata and hit a Northern lights Bomb for the pin! Tyger jumped in victory, not only over Shibata but over his recent streak of bad luck and losses! Kea and Tyger met in the ring and shook hands and a quick hug, before holding their titles high! As the two turned around, they were met by Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada! They pointed at Tyger and Kea’s titles, then themselves. Tyger and Kea looked at each other, and back at the two men, and nodded their heads, before exchanging handshakes!
- After a huge summer, Atsushi Aoki challenged the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion, Fujita Jr. Hayato! Aoki had a heated feud with his former friend Naomichi Marufuji, the Heavyweight Champion, while Hayato feuded and defeated his arch rival Koji Kanemoto to defend his title. Tonight, Hayato and Aoki collided in a mash of kicks and punches. As Hayato focused on his kicks, Aoki arrowed in on Hayato’s arm, weakening it for a Cross Armbreaker. In the end of them match, Hayato charged at Aoki, throwing a Helm knee, but Aoki jumped, and grabbed Hayato’s arm and spun, spinning both of them to the mat, with Hayato locked in the Cross Armbreaker! Hayato flung and kicked around, attempting to get out of the move, with no luck. Aoki pulled harder and harder, until an audible pop was heard, followed by a yelp from Hayato! The referee stared at Hayato, checking on him, until he called off the match, giving Aoki the win! Aoki let go and stood in victory, as Hayato shot up, and got in the referee’s face, screaming at the decision! The referee maintained the call, until Aoki walked over, saying if Hayato wanted a restart, he was up for it! Hayato agreed, and against his best decision, the referee called for a restart! Immediately, Aoki kicked Hayato’s injured arm! He when to do it again, but Hayato dodged it, and hit Aoki with a thunderous head kick, sending him down! Aoki staggered to his knees, before Hayato charged, and hit a Helm! Hayato covered Aoki….. For a two count! Aoki crawled himself up, but was met by another Helm, sending him crumpling to the mat, ending the match! Hayato, bruised and with a limp arm, stood in true victory, holding up his title! Aoki stammered up and met Hayato in the center of the ring. The two stared at each other,, before the two shook hands, as Hayato went down to a knee, holding his shoulder. As Aoki walked off, KAI walked up, and looked down at Hayato, before letting out a sly grin, and kicking Hayato’s arm! Hayato fell to the mat in pain, as KAI kicked and stomped the shoulder, before Aoki charged in the ring, spearing KAI, sending him out of the ring. Before he retreated, KAI grabbed the Unified Junior Heavyweight Championship, and held it high, before throwing it on the ground, and walking off.
- Shuhei Taniguchi, after going to a 30 minute draw with his mentor, as Masayuki Kono shocked the world by pinning him. Both men wanted one more shot, and both got it, as Jun Akiyama is back, and has brought Go Shiozaki, back in GATTACA for the first time in three months. All four men met in the middle of the ring, before Taniguchi and Kono fired the first shots, attacking Akiyama and Shiozaki! Taniguchi and Kono held an underdog dominance for a long time, before Akiyama and Shiozaki started controlling the team. Shiozaki singled in on Kono, throwing him out of the ring and staying on him, as Taniguchi and Akiyama had it out! Akiyama grabbed Taniguchi, setting up for an Exploder, but Taniguchi blocked it! Akiyama tired again, before Taniguchi spun out of it, as Akiyama turned back to him, before Taniguchi kicked Akiyama, and hit a Fisherman’s Suplex for a close two count! Taniguchi picked Akiyama up, and set up for another, but Akiyama reversed, and hit a huge Exploder Suplex! Akiyama covered Taniguchi…. And only got a one count! Taniguchi charged up, screaming, before running at Akiyama, who answered with another Exploder Suplex, this time, ending the match. After the match, all four men met in the ring again, as Kono and Taniguchi both looked at Akiyama. Akiyama smiled, and nodded at both, signaling rematches in the future, before shaking both of their hands. Taniguchi walked over to Shiozaki, and put up one finger, signaling his desire to have another match with him, after losing to him back in June, to which Shiozaki agreed, and shook his hand.
- For four months, he’s been dodged and avoided. For four months he’s tried for the title shot that he, and many, felt he deserved. Daisuke Sekimoto finally earned his title shot, defeating Jun Akiyama in the finals of the IDEOLOGY tournament. Naomichi Marufuji, the Heavyweight Champion, has missed the past tour and a half due to a shoulder injury at the hands of Atsushi Aoki, but has claimed he is 100% going into the match, and said the shoulder will be no excuse. After months of running away, Marufuji stood face to face with his biggest fear, Sekimoto. After several tense moments, the arena exploded, as the two finally collided! Marufuji stayed true to his word, no backing down in the least bit! Marufuji focused his attention on Sekimoto’s knees throwing multiple kicks and dropkicks, causing a stagger from the challenger. Sekimoto used his strength to counter the champion’s speed, lifting, throwing, and tossing Marufuji. In the end, Marufuji had Sekimoto reeling! Marufuji set him up for the Tiger Flowsion, but Sekimoto blocked it! Sekimoto grabbed him, and flung him away. Marufuji jumped over the ropes, landing on the entrance way. Sekimoto charged at him, but Marufuji threw up his leg, hitting a thudding Superkick! Sekimoto staggered back, as Marufuji ran and caught him, hitting a suplex over the ropes onto the ramp. Marufuji picked Sekimoto up, and set up for a Shiranui. He pointed, and ran, but as he bounced off the ropes, Sekimoto held onto him, and spun. Sekimoto pushed out of the hold, and grabbed Marufuji from behind, and flung him over the ropes, back into the ring, hitting a German Suplex, with Marufuji landing directly on his head! Sekimoto ran into to the ring, and rolled over the limp body of Marufuji, and made the cover… for the three count! Sekimoto shot up in victory, throwing his hands up, letting out a victorious yell! As medics and young boys ran and checked on Marufuji, the locker room emptied out, all out to celebrate with the new Heavyweight Champion, Daisuke Sekimoto! As Masayuki Kono and Kentaro Shiga placed the belt around Sekimoto’s waist, Marufuji came to, and staggered up. He slowly waked over to Sekimoto, defeated. He took in the sight of the title belt on Sekimoto’s waist, before he extended his hand. Sekimoto looked at it, and back at Marufuji, slowly taking it, before Marufuji walked off.

Been waiting for the main event match, HUGE WRITE UP, glad Sekimoto won he had a great build up to the belt, hoping he has a good run, good to see the handshake at the end hopefully we get a rematch down the line, the semi main event tag match was good as well, personally I'd love the title to come off Fujita Jr, glad Omega and Ibushi's team won earlier on, would love for Sawa to get some good wins but he seems to lose quite a bit, good luck and keep this up.

It’s taken me all of this time to realize that I have been an embarrassment to this company. I have acted completely unprofessional, and not how the Heavyweight Champion, and the president of a company should act. I now realize that I should not have acted in that manner. I will not run from my challenges any longer, I will not let any success I may achieve get into my head and ego like that anymore.
I have not only claimed to be the best wrestler in the world, but the best heavyweight wrestler. I am neither nor. In all honestly, I am not even a heavyweight wrestler. I plan on changing this. I will change it starting now.
I will be leaving GATTACA: PROJECT, and Japan. I will be planning a 3 to 6 month foreign excursion across the United States and Canada, to not only become a better wrestler, but to gain muscle and weight. I desire to return to GATTACA not only has a better wrestler, but a true heavyweight wrestler. I may never be the best wrestler in the world. I may never be the best heavyweight wrestler in the world. But I will try my hardest to become the absolute best heavyweight wrestler that I can be.
With this, I will temporarily step down as President of GATTACA: PROJECT until my return. I feel I should free my mind as much as possible, while I am on my excursion.
I am promoting the GATTACA: PRO vice president Justin Tyger as the interim president during my absence. Tyger was the founder and vice president of Pro Wrestling GENESIS, the predecessor of GATTACA. I believe he will lead GATTACA, it’s wrestlers, and it’s fans while I’m gone. I feel, while left in Tyger’s hands, I will have absolutely no worries about the state of GATTACA. I put my total trust in him, as I know he will do a great job as president, while he still fills his role as the champion wrestler he has proven to be.
While I cannot do anything to change the way I have acted towards my co-workers, friends, and the fans, I hope that future and time will erase any negative feelings I have caused against me. I have done a lot of wrong towards my good friends, like Aoki and Shiga and Tyger. I hope this excursion will enable a clean slate for our relationships. I hope I can gain and earn back everyone’s respect and support that I lost during these recent months.
I wish Daisuke Sekimoto the best of luck in his well deserved reign as champion. He will be a great champion for my promotion. While I’m wishing you luck Sekimoto, leave no doubt in your mind. I will be back soon, and I will have you, and the Heavyweight Title in my sights. I hope to one day have rematch with you. I also hope I can finally defeat you, and have a title reign that will not embarrass myself and the company I founded.
Thank you for supporting GATTACA: PROJECT, I hope for the continued support of GATTACA in the future, during my absence, and under the new interim leadership.

Naomichi Marufuji leaving on excursion, I believe, is good for him. We all in GATTACA hope him the best in his train venture. I will be missed on the show, and in the locker room. We will try to maintain his vision for GATTACA: PROJECT during his absence.
This is a huge opportunity for me. As the interim Vice President of GATTACA: PROJECT, I feel great pressure from the duties I am expected, and must perform. I feel even more pressure to greatly improve my wrestling skills, and to become the main event wrestler I once was, and no longer the humiliation I feel I am to this company, to Taiyo Kea, and to the fans. As the president of this company, I feel anything less than being the best, will not work. I will not accept it from myself.
I will be returning to All Japan as full time as possible. I will wrestle in GATTACA full time, while being the full time leader and president of GATTACA: PROJECT. I feel I need to improve myself as much as possible. From a wrestling standpoint, from a personal standpoint, and from a business standpoint. I hope to again be as important to the company and to wrestling as I once was. I feel this is possible, with all the hard work and dedication I have learned, in the 17 years I have wrestled.
Revealed today, are the matches that me and Kea will be participating in during the next All Japan tour. The matches for the next GATTACA: PROJECT tour will be announced tomorrow.

Nice to see the Venis debut on 22. Looking forward to that. Sad to see the title not up for grabs but this makes perfect for a #1 Contender. Good write-up once again. Keep it up.

The whole president shake up is a great storyline but it does mean that Marufuji won't be on here for a few months, I'd love if you wrote Marufuji matches in the states like you did when Tyger was in AJPW, great that Shiozaki is in the whole tour hopefully he can build up some wins and have a title fight, no Junior or Heavyweight title matches makes me sad would have liked to see Sekimoto have one title fight, Venus being in should shake it up a bit, some of those matches look great, good luck and keep this up.

I do not know why.. but you've got me interested even though I know nothing about Japanese wrestling.. Really happy to see two guys I know here (Venis and Liger/Lyger).. Great show so far, intrigued with this as it has some great potential.. could be a spotlight sooner then later. After I learn more info about these guys I'll give updated replies, but anyways.. You got a reader over here.

Kentaro Shiga [FREE], Chris Prospect, Kenny Omega, Shota Takanishi beat Katsuhiko Nakajima, Satoshi Kajiwara, Kento Miyahara, Jun Nishikawa when Shiga used a Shiga Sleeper on Nishikawa 4. Manabu Soya and Munenori Sawa beat Katsuyori Shibata and Kota Ibushi when Sawa used a Shining Wizard on Ibushi 5. Special Six Man Tag: Go Shiozaki [NOAH], Taiyo Kea [AJPW], Justin Tyger beat Shuhei Taniguchi, Masayuki Kono, Kazuchika Okada when Kea used an H5O on Okada
- Naomichi Marufuji sat in on commentary for all of the matches. He will leave tomorrow to begin his training excursion.
- Val Venis is here, and he has made his intentions known. Venis battled the young lion Kenta Kakinuma in his second match in GATTACA. Kakinuma put up a good fight against the wrestling superstar, but fell to his Money Shot splash from the top rope. After the match, Val picked up his towel and walked up to an attractive woman at ringside and wraps his towel around her neck, before walking away, leaving the woman wide eyed in her chair.
- Kazunari Murakami and Ryuji Hijikata teamed up to battle the Heavyweight Champion Daisuke Sekimoto and the dangerous Atsushi Aoki. The four had an all our war, throwing more punches and kicks than ever called for. Murakami made a huge point, as he took Aoki down, and locked in Aoki’s Cross Armbreaker. Aoki, not wanting to go the way of Marufuji and Hayato, tapped out, before rolling away. As Murakami stood up, he stared at Sekimoto in Murakami-Demon Style, and pointed at Sekimoto’s title, before walking away.
- Go Shiozaki, Taiyo Kea, and Justin Tyger battled, arguably, the future of GATTACA: PRO, the team of Shuhei Taniguchi, Masayuki Kono, and Kazuchika Okada. Taniguchi, Kono, and Okada put up a huge fight against the team of former Pro Wrestling GEN Heavyweight Champions, but Okada couldn’t stand against Mr. H5O, Kea, and his H5O, which Kea used to end the match, and pin one of the men who will challenge him and Tyger for the Tag Titles. After the match, Tyger and Kea shook hands, and Shiozaki walked up to Kono, and shook his hand, as they head into their singles match at EUGENICS 25. After the match, the new Interim President Tyger walked up to Marufuji at the commentator’s table, and shook his head, taking a bow, and wishing Marufuji luck in his excursion.
