-I don't recognize 90% of these guys... but... this is awesome. -Val Venis picking up another win is nice. It is a little awkward for him to be part of this, but there have been much stranger gaijins. -The champ not taking the fall was a good call. Looks like Murakami wants the title. -Solid main event. Go, Taiyo, and Justin winning worked best. I love anytime Taiyo wins a match though. Hah.

Naomichi Marufuji Leaves Japan!
“This needs to happen. I need to bring myself down to earth, and no longer be on this cloud that I’ve been on since May. I hope to get some sense beat back in me, ha-ha. I also hope to gain weight and muscle, and come back home to GATTACA, and become a legitimate threat for the Heavyweight Championship, and no longer be the pesky little junior who knows some cool pins. I hope to come back, and make up for all the mistakes I‘ve made recently…… and to beat Sekimoto… and you… again, ha-ha. I think GATTACA: PROJECT will do great under your guidance. I believe I‘ll come back to a totally different GATTACA, in a good way, I believe it‘ll be bigger and better than ever. I have my total trust in you and the other wrestlers while I‘m gone.”
Before the final call for his flight rang over the intercoms, Marufuji got his last words in with the Interim President Justin Tyger. As the two shook hands and parted ways, Marufuji walked down the hall, and into a terminal, as we get our last look at the GATTACA: PRO founder Naomichi Marufuji until further notice.

GATTACA: PRO, “EUGENICS 23” 9/16/10 Chiba Park Gymnasium
1. Kenny Omega beat Kento Miyahara (8:18) with a Croyt’s Wrath 2. Kentaro Shiga [FREE] beat Satoshi Kajiwara (10:27) with a Shiga Sleeper 3. Manabu Soya and Chris Prospect beat Katsuhiko Nakajima and Jun Nishikawa (15:54) when Soya used a Brainbuster on Nishikawa 4. Shuhei Taniguchi, Kazuchika Okada, Kenta Kakinuma beat Justin Tyger, Val Venis [FREE], Fale Simitaitoko (14:44) when Okada used an Octopus Hold on Fale 5. Atsushi Aoki and Munenori Sawa beat Ryuji Hijikata and Kota Ibushi (17:20) when Aoki used an Assault Point on Ibushi 6. Special Six Man Tag: Daisuke Sekimoto, Masayuki Kono, Go Shiozaki [NOAH] beat Katsuyori Shibata, Kazunari Murakami [BML], Takashi Okita (17:07) when Kono used a Kneedrop on Okita
- Kensuke Office representative Kento Miyahara battled the gaijin rocket Kenny Omega. Miyahara tired all he could to score the victory, but in the end, Omega used his amazing Croyt’s Wrath finisher to put Miyahara away.
- Satoshi Kajiwara had a huge chance to prove himself, against veteran Kentaro Shiga. Kajiwara kept up with Shiga every step of the way, reversing Shiga and nearly pinning him several times, before Shiga locked in the Shiga Sleeper the end the match.
- Manabu Soya teamed with Chris Prospect to battle the Kensuke Office teaming of Katsuhiko Nakajima and Jun Nishikawa. Prospect and Nakajima, 3 time tag team champions, battled each other with the familiarity that they have had since 2008. The two threw every move they knew at each other, but constantly dodged and blocked each other, not one move hitting until both men threw simultaneous lariats, knocking each other down. The two staggered up and stared off, before trading punches, before Nakajima threw a spinning kick, sending Prospect staggering back into his corner, leading to Soya tagging in. In the end, Soya threw Nishikawa around, before hitting a huge Brainbuster for the win. After the match, Prospect and Nakajima stood off again, before shaking hands.
- Gaijins gotta stick togetha! Justin Tyger, Val Venis, and Fale Simitaitoko abide by this rule as the battle Shuhei Taniguchi, Kazuchika Okada, and Kenta Kakinuma. While Fale focused almost all of his attention on Kakinuma, Tyger and Venis centered themselves on Taniguchi and Okada, the men challenging Tyger and Kea for the All Japan Tag Team Titles. As Fale sent Kakinuma out of the ring, Okada attacked him, before trapping him in the Octopus Stretch! Tyger charged to break it up, but Taniguchi caught him and hit him with a huge German Suplex! As the same time, Venis ran up to Okada and started throwing forearms, but Okada held on until Taniguchi came up from behind and suplexed Venis away, before Fale tapped!
- Atsushi Aoki has proven to be a threat to all junior heavyweights. Tonight, he teams with Munenori Sawa to battle Ryuji Hijikata and Kota Ibushi. Aoki attacked both men, throwing vicious kicks to their arms, softening them up. Hijikata proved to be an incredible challenge, as he had an answer to almost every move Aoki and Sawa had. As Ibushi held Aoki back, Hijikata pointed at Aoki and laughed, as he locked in a Cross Armbreaker on Sawa! Hijikata cranked back, before Aoki hit Ibushi with an elbow, and charged Hijikata and kicked him in the head! As Hijikata fell over, Aoki attacked him, before Ibushi charged in and controlled Aoki! Ibushi and Hijikata doubled teamed, before Sawa run and hit Hijikata with a Baseball Punch! Hijikata staggered, before Sawa whipped him off, and caught him in an Octopus Hold! As Sawa hit him with elbows, Aoki reversed Ibushi, and trapped him, before hitting an Assault Point for the pin!
- The Heavyweight Champion Daisuke Sekimoto teamed with Masayuki Kono and Go Shiozaki to battle Katsuyori Shibata, Kazunari Murakami, and Takashi Okita. Okita saw this as a huge chance to prove he can run with the main guys, but unfortunately for him, he showed he was quite possibly nowhere near, as he proceeded to be absolutely crushed by the three stars. Shibata and Murakami finally grabbed Okita and threw him out of the ring, and dealt with the team themselves, taking control of the match for their team. Murakami constantly turned his attention over to Sekimoto, staring at him in Murakami-Demon style, using this tactic to intimidate the champion, but in the end it proved their downfall, as Kono attacked Murakami while he was staring Sekimoto down, and didn’t let up, until Murakami scurried to his corner, as Okita tagged in! Okita let out a yell before charging Kono, before he was met with a knee in the face, which sent him crashing down. Shiozaki and Sekimoto ran in and attacked Murakami and Shibata, as Kono climbed the top rope, and hit a huge Kneedrop on Okita for the win! After the match, Kono, Sekimoto, and Shiozaki celebrated, shaking hands with each other. As they began to walk off, Shibata and Murakami charged the ring and attacked! As Shibata dealt with Kono and Shiozaki, Murakami threw Sekimoto out of the ring, and attacked! The two brawled all around the arena, before Murakami picked up a chair, and hit Sekimoto with it! As Sekimoto staggered, Murakami lifted up the chair to land another, Sekimoto punched Murakami in the stomach several times! As Murakami dropped the chair and staggered off, Sekimoto picked up the chair, and cracked Murakami in the skull! Before Murakami hit the ground, blood already fell from his head! Sekimoto dropped the chair and started to stagger to the ring, where Shibata and Okita were attacking Kono and Shiozaki. As Sekimoto got to the railing, Murakami charged from nowhere and hit him with a chair! Before Sekimoto could fall, Murakami put the chair around his neck, and proceeded to choke him out! As Sekimoto hit the floor, Shibata hit Shiozaki with an echoing Penalty Kick, as Okita hit the dazed Kono with a Football Tackle! Murakami walked back to the ring, and looked at the carnage the team caused, before posing with Shibata, and even Okita, before leaving the wreckage.

All Japan Unified Heavyweight Tag Team Championships: Taiyo Kea [AJPW] and Justin Tyger (C) beat Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada (16:44) when Kea used a H5O on Okada (5th Defense) 7. Special Singles Match: Masayuki Kono beat Go Shiozaki [NOAH] (22:50) with a Kneedrop
- In their first encounter, Fale Simitaitoko defeated, and injured Kenta Kakinuma. Kakinuma was gone for more than 2 months, before he returned, against the very man that injured him, Fale. In that match, Kakinuma, bigger, stronger, and faster, had what it took to get his revenge and pin Simitaitoko. Now, in their third, and final, singles match, the two came out of the gate as even as possible. Kakinuma tapped into his speed to counter and reverse Fale, until Fale took control over Kakinuma, using his strength to pick Kakinuma up and drop him down with the deadly Underhook Backbreaker, before locking in the Crab Hold. Kakinuma thrashed and scratched around… until he turned over, and got out of the very hold that injured his back! Kakinuma shot up and charged at Fale, hitting a Running Elbow, staggering Fale, as Kakinuma rebounded to hit another, but Fale dodged the move, and hit Kakinuma with a Bodyslam, before locking in the Crab Hold once again. This time with nowhere to go, Kakinuma tapped out. After the match, the two men looked each other up and down, before shaking hands with each other, and parting ways.
- Representing All Japan, Hiroshi Yamato made his debut tonight. Yamato is famous for teaming with Satoshi Kojima and KAI as F4, Yamato is here to back up his friend and partner KAI, but tonight, he teamed with Takashi Okita to battle the gaijin team of Val Venis and Chris Prospect. Yamato made his presences known in the match, giving all he had to the Junior Heavyweight Ace of GATTACA, Prospect. In the end, Venis took control over the former Kensuke Office kid Okita, hitting a Big Package before climbing to the top, swinging his hips around, before hitting a Money Shot, ending the match.
- Kensuke Office, made up tonight of former GEN Junior Heavyweight Champion Katsuhiko Nakajima, Satoshi Kajiwara, and Kento Miyahara, battled against the veteran Kentaro Shiga, former GEN Junior Heavyweight Champion Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega. Nakajima and Ibushi, the champions of the match, traded against each other for most of the match, as Kajiwara still looked to prove himself against Shiga, wrestling him as much as possible. At the end, Shiga and Kajiwara were battling, before Kajiwara hit a huge head kick, sending Shiga down! As Kajiwara climbed up to the top, and leaped off, attempting a Moonsault press, but Shiga moved! As Kajiwara staggered up, Shiga locked in a Shiga Sleeper, ending the match! After the match, Shiga helped Kajiwara up, before Shiga extended his hand. Kajiwara accepted, but stated his desire for another singles match.
- Munenori Sawa is looking for revenge for his injured friend, the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion Fujita Jr. Hayato. KAI, All Japan wrestler, took advantage of an already hurt Hayato following a title defense, attacking the injured shoulder of the champion before Aoki and Sawa ran him off. Sawa and KAI engaged in a stiff battle, Sawa red faced for revenge. Sawa threw every kick, punch, and slap he could, while some connected, KAI had an answer for most of them, reversing and taking control of Sawa. KAI charged at Sawa, throwing a huge Lariat… but Sawa dodged it! Sawa kicked KAI in the knee, sending him down, before running, hitting a Shining Wizard! Sawa pinned KAI, but KAI kicked out at two! As Sawa stood up, and picked KAI up, he once again ran off, and went to lock in an Octopus Hold, but KAI spun out of It, hitting a Lariat! As Sawa laid dizzy, KAI climbed to the top of the turnbuckle, hitting a Splash Plancha for the pin! After the match, as KAI cockily stood over the downed Sawa, Hiroshi Yamato entered the ring, before the two attacked Sawa! Before the two could get much in, Atsushi Aoki and Fujita Jr. Hayato charged the ring, running F4 off! As KAI stood at the apron staring at the men and laughing, as Hayato showed off his title, before he reached out for KAI, grabbing a handful of hair, before KAI pushed away, as he and Yamato walked away.
- Big Mouth LOUD stars Katsuyori Shibata and Kazunari Murakami teamed up with former BattlARTS and All Japan star Ryuji Hijikata, to battle the Heavyweight Champion Daisuke Sekimoto, Manabu Soya, and Atsushi Aoki. To say this was a stiff encounter would be an understatement, as the bad blood between Sekimoto and Murakami came to a boil, when the two went crazy on each other, neither of them letting down at all, until Murakami caught Sekimoto with a huge right hand, sending Sekimoto buckling at the knees, before Murakami capitalized and grabbed Sekimoto’s arm and spun over, locking in a Cross Armbreaker! Murakami pulled and wrenched, with Sekimoto on the brink of breaking, until Aoki and Soya charged Murakami! The two pulled him off of Sekimoto, before Murakami kicked Aoki, before punching Soya. Murakami spun to hit Aoki with a huge elbow, which sent him down and falling outside! Soya countered with a huge Lariat, but Murakami stood unaffected, before throwing a another knock out right hand, sending Soya crumpling to the ground, as Murakami mounted him, raining down a countless number of punches, before the referee had to step in, awarding the Knock Out victory! After the match, Murakami wasn’t done yet, as he strutted over to Sekimoto, who was laying on the mat, before kicking him like a dog several times, before laughing, and walking away, as Aoki rolled into the ring to check on Soya.
- Just hours after defending the All Japan Unified Heavyweight Tag Team Championships on All Japan grounds, Taiyo Kea and Justin Tyger will defend again in the same day, this time here in GATTACA: PROJECT, against Shuhei Taniguchi and Kazuchika Okada! Taniguchi, on the run of his life, looked to put away another wrestling veteran in Taiyo Kea or Justin Tyger, as Okada, having pinned Tyger once before, looked for revenge after Tyger got a pin over him just a few days ago. While the younger wrestlers had their speed and youth on their side, Kea and Tyger had two things that they didn’t, teamwork and experience. Tyger and Kea, friends, teammates, and champions for nearly 16 years, had teaming together down to a science, something that Taniguchi and Okada didn’t have in their few short months of teaming. This lead to their downfall, as Tyger and Kea used several tricks and their knowledge to separate the challengers and tear them down. As Tyger grabbed Taniguchi, getting him outside of the ring, Kea picked up Okada, and hit a H5O, ending the match, and making the title defense. After the match, Tyger and Kea shook hands, before the referee raised their hands. Taniguchi helped Okada up, before the two walked over to the champions, and shook their hands.
- Go Shiozaki has had an amazing 2010 since his return from injury early in the year, but rivaling his year is Masayuki Kono, who has had arguably as big of a year personally. After pinning Suwama and Jun Akiyama, Kono laid claim to his rise in 2010. After pinning Hiroshi Tanahashi and Shinsuke Nakamura, Shiozaki laid his claim to his blast to stardom in 2010. Tonight, these two faced off in a battle, essentially, for the claim of their rises. The two battled in an even battle to the very end, neither man holding and maintaining any control for an extended period of time. In the end, Shiozaki and Kono were still even as could be, before Shiozaki hit a Superkick out of nowhere! As Kono staggered, Shiozaki set up, and connected with a Go Flasher! Shiozaki pinned Kono… and only got a one count! As Shiozaki sat in shock, Kono rocketed up, and bounced off the ropes, and hit a huge knee to the skull of Shiozaki, before rebounding, and hitting another! Kono took a moment, and threw up a fist, getting a huge “OH!” from the crowd, before turning to Shiozaki, and hitting a huge Backdrop Suplex, throwing Shiozaki straight on his head! Kono covered Shiozaki, but Shiozaki kicked out before a count could be made! Shiozaki ran, and hit Kono with a thunderous Lariat! As Kono staggered, Shiozaki came in from behind, and lifted Kono up for the deadly Modified Space Go Flasher, but Kono flipped out of it, and ran, bouncing off the ropes, and hitting a huge Running Knee Strike, sending Shiozaki to the mat! Kono charged up the turnbuckle, and hit a crashing Kneedrop to Shiozaki’s head, rendering him limp and unresponsive. Kono made the cover, and pinned the former GHC and GEN Heavyweight Champion! After the match, Kono stood, basking in the glory! As Shiozaki staggered to his feet, he and Kono looked at each other, before shaking hands, as Shiozaki wished Kono luck against Akiyama!

Our first tour without Marufuji, was arguably a great one. We saw Masayuki Kono score another huge upset, this time over Go Shiozaki. We’ve seen heated rivalries light up, between Murakami and Sekimoto, between Sawa and Hayato against KAI. Jun Akiyama is returning, Akihiko Ito is returning, Taiyo Kea and Val Venis and Kentaro Shiga are sticking around, and who knows what else will happen down the line. The future is extremely bright for us, I think Marufuji would be proud of the things we are doing.
I won’t, and we won’t, drop the ball here. GATTACA: PROJECT will continue to get bigger, and get better, and when Marufuji returns, he will be blown away by the advancements we have made, I have no doubt about it.
- Tyger also announced partial cards for the upcoming tour, full cards will be announced soon.

"I am dangerous. I am a real threat to everyone, Heavyweight or Junior Heavyweight. I might not win every match, but what I do guarantee, is my opponent, or opponents, will leave the match hurting. If it’s a hurt arm, or a hurt neck, well, that’s their poison, but I will prove to everyone just how much of a threat I really am. I can snap anyone’s arm in seconds. From Sekimoto to Taniguchi to Hayato to KAI. Just one pull, just one pop of a ligament, one crack of a bone, they will know that Atsushi Aoki is for real when people he’s deadly."
- Jun Akiyama returns! Shuhei Taniguchi and Masayuki Kono will get their singles rematches, Taniguchi at 26, and Kono at the 30 finale. Shiozaki defeated Taniguchi, but lost to Kono last tour. Can Akiyama topple Kono?
- Kazunari Murakami challenges Daisuke Sekimoto, in Sekimoto’s first defense with the title.
- All Japan’s KAI will claim his title shot against the Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion Fujita Jr. Hayato. A F4 vs. Hayato/Sawa/Aoki/Prospect theme is apparently throughout the tour, as he and Hiroshi Yamato battle a combination of the four all shows.
- Justin Tyger and Taiyo Kea will not defend the All Japan Tag Team Championship titles this tour, citing no competition in GATTACA: PRO for them to defend against. Will any tag team leave an impression this tour to change their minds?
- Akihiko Ito makes his long awaited return! In his return match, Ito will reunite with former BURNING stablemates Jun Akiyama and Justin Tyger to battle Masayuki Kono, Shuhei Taniguchi, and Chris Prospect.

Hey guys, it‘s been awhile!
Well, good news and bad news. Bad news is I was handed my release today from WWE. It was a great time and I can’t complain, I’ve become better than ever, and I’m in the best shape of my life. Good news is, I’ll be back in GATTACA: PROJECT soon! I’m coming back better that I ever was in GATTACA and GEN. I’m so excited to be returning to Japan next month! I’ve really missed it.
I believe this will be a brand new beginning for me. I am coming back a different wrestler. I’m stronger, faster, and better than I was before. I will become the dominate Gaijin Nightmare again, but this time, I will dominate everyone, straight up to the Heavyweight Championship.
I don’t know what my return match will be, but I hope it’ll include my GURENTAI buddies Taiyo Kea and Justin Tyger. I’ve missed teaming with those guys while I was in America, but don’t get to comfortable guys, if it comes down to it, I will show you how much better I have gotten. Being friends won’t stop the dominance I know I will begin once I return.
See you soon GATTACA! - Joe Doering

Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega beat Kentaro Shiga [FREE] and Atsushi Aoki (15:10) when Ibushi used a Phoenix Splash on Shiga 4. Special Singles Match: Katsuyori Shibata beat Justin Tyger (15:18) by KO (Headkick) 5. Special Tag Match: Chris Prospect and Katsuhiko Nakajima beat KAI [AJPW] and Hiroshi Yamato [AJPW] (14:55) when Nakajima used a R-15 on Yamato 7. Special Singles Match: Jun Akiyama [NOAH] beat Shuhei Taniguchi (22:58) with a Sternness Dust Gamma
- Young Lion Fale Simitaitoko battled another fairly young wrestler in Manabu Soya. The two had a very hard hitting match before Fale hit Soya with his Double Underhook Backbreaker, before locking in his Crab Hold! Fale wrenched harder, as Soya trashed and struggled to get out. After a few moments, Soya pushed himself up, using his strength, before spinning, sending Fale flipping, letting go of the hold. Soya jumped up and charged, hitting a huge Lariat on Fale, before ending the match with a Brainbuster.
- The Kensuke Office kids of Satoshi Kajiwara and Kento Miyahara had a huge challenge ahead of them, the Junior Heavyweight Champion Fujita Jr. Hayato and Munenori Sawa. Kajiwara and Miyahara put up a huge fight against the team, with Kajiwara putting Sawa on his heels several times, but in the end, while Hayato separated Kajiwara from Miyahara, Sawa hit a huge Baseball Punch on Miyahara, sending him down to his knees. Sawa charged, and hit a Shining Wizard, ending the match!
- Preparing for their NTV Cup Entry Match, Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega faced a challenge, in the veteran Kentaro Shiga and Atsushi Aoki! Omega made his focus on Shiga, the man who pinned him several weeks ago, looking for revenge, while Aoki and Ibushi stood off trading kicks and slaps. Aoki focused on Ibushi’s arm, looking to break it down and prepare it for a Cross Armbreaker, before Omega ran into the ring, hitting Aoki with a Hadouken! As Aoki staggered over, Shiga ran and hit Omega with an elbow, sending him down, before turning his attention to Ibushi, before the two traded shots. Shiga looked to have the advantage, before Ibushi hit a hard kick to the head, before hitting a snap German Suplex. Ibushi ran up to the top rope, hitting a Phoenix Splash on Shiga, ending the match!
- Justin Tyger vowed as the Interim President of GATTACA: PRO, he would no longer be an embarrassment, no longer be a loser in the company. Tyger proved that he wasn’t, scoring many pinfalls not only in GATTACA but in All Japan. Tyger challenged the man who beat him in 3 minutes, Katsuyori Shibata, looking for revenge. Tyger and Shibata met in the middle of the ring, throwing punches and kicks, almost in a blur. Neither man would back down from the battle, before Tyger caught Shibata with a huge right hand, sending him staggering back. Tyger capitalized, throwing a Knee Strike, which sent Shibata to his knees. Tyger readied himself, and threw a Rolling Solebutt, but Shibata dunked it! As Tyger stumbled to get his footing back, Shibata jumped up, and charged hitting a knee to Tyger’s head, sending him down! Shibata ran into the ropes and rebounded, hitting a Penalty Kick! Shibata made the cover.. .but Tyger kicked out at 1! As the two stood up, Shibata threw a huge kick, cracking the back of Tyger’s head, sending him crumpling to the mat. Before Shibata could attack, the referee stepped in, ending the match, as Tyger laid cold! Shibata stood in victory, standing over Tyger, who slowly crawled to his hands and knees. Shibata turned to walk away, but he quickly turned, and punted Tyger with another kick! As Tyger felt to the mat, Shibata walked off, laughing at Tyger.
- The Heavyweight Champion Daisuke Sekimoto teamed up with his partner Masayuki Kono, and Kazuchika Okada to battle the challenger for the Heavyweight Championship Kazunari Murakami, Takashi Okita, and Ryuji Hijikata. Kono, who will wrestle Jun Akiyama at the end of this tour, made his presence known in the match, taking out Hijikata and Okita, pinning Okita after a Kneedrop to end the match.
- KAI and Hiroshi Yamato are invading GATTACA! The All Japan juniors battle the ace team of Chris Prospect and Katsuhiko Nakajima. With 7 titles wins between themselves, Prospect and Nakajima have a huge advantage over the younger All Japan team, except for the fact that KAI has pinned Prospect 3 times now. Prospect and KAI met in the middle and exploded, as the two never let up on each other throughout the whole match. KAI and Prospect eventually escalated into the crowd! As they battled up the bleachers, Nakajima and Yamato traded shots in the ring! Yamato got control over Nakajima, and hit a German Suplex… but Nakajima rolled out of it! As Yamato stood up, he was met by a R-15 kick, sending him down, and ending the match! As KAI and Prospect fought back to the ring, Nakajima helped Yamato up, before the two shook hands. Prospect joined Nakajima, who also shook Yamato’s hand. When KAI got into the ring, when Prospect extended his hand, KAI simply laughed, nudged Yamato, and walked off, before Yamato followed, slightly confused.
- Jun Akiyama is back! Tonight, he battled his protégé Shuhei Taniguchi in a rematch. Taniguchi showed he has improved greatly in 2010, keeping up with Akiyama every step of the match. Akiyama was surprised, as Taniguchi seemed to have a reversal and a move for everything Akiyama threw out, never letting up on the veteran. At the end of the match, Akiyama had solid control over Taniguchi. Akiyama hooked Taniguchi, and hit the Exploder Suplex! Akiyama pinned Taniguchi… but got a 2 count! As Taniguchi stood up, Akiyama set up for another, but Taniguchi fought out of it! As Akiyama staggered, Taniguchi slid behind, and hit a German Suplex! Akiyama stood up, before being thrown again! Taniguchi pinned the veteran.. And got a 2 count! Taniguchi lifted Akiyama up, and hit a final, stalling German Suplex! Taniguchi pinned Akiyama.. And got a 2.9! Taniguchi picked him back up, and set up for the Fisherman Suplex…But Akiyama wiggled out of it! As Taniguchi turned, Akiyama greeted him with an Exploder Suplex… But Taniguchi reversed, and set Akiyama up for another Fisherman Suplex, but Akiyama got out of it once again, before hitting Taniguchi with a thunderous knee to the face! As Taniguchi staggered, Akiyama hit a Sternness Dust Gamma, ending the match! After, Akiyama helped Taniguchi up, before the two shook hands, before Akiyama raised Taniguchi’s arm.

Eugenics 26 was solid. Nice write-up as usual. Would reply often if I knew all this stuff. But I know very few. Still, keep it up.

Akihiko Ito Return Match: Jun Akiyama [NOAH], Akihiko Ito, Justin Tyger beat Masayuki Kono, Shuhei Taniguchi, Chris Prospect (18:19) when Ito used a Dragon Suplex Hold on Prospect
- Fale Simitaitoko looked to impress the GATTACA: PRO fans, as he wrestled the veteran Kentaro Shiga. The two had an incredibly intriguing back and forth match, with neither man getting a solid dictation over the match. In a surprising long fight, Fale took control of Shiga, hooking his arms, and lifting him up on his shoulder! As Fale dropped to his knees to complete the backbreaker, Shiga slipped out of the move, and quickly locked in the Shiga Sleeper! Shiga grapevined Fale, jamming him in the center of the ring. As Fale struggled to get out, Shiga wrenched tighter, before Fale tapped out, ending the match!
- The Kensuke Office kids, Satoshi Kajiwara, Kento Miyahara, and Jun Nishikawa united to battle the team of Kenta Kakinuma, Shota Takanishi, and former Kensuke Office member Takashi Okita. Okita raged, attacking all of his former teammates and friends, elbowing and tackling them all across the ring. Okita grabbed the youngest of the team, Nishikawa, and began breaking him down, before Miyahara, Okita’s former Junior Tag Team Championship partner, ran in and speared Okita, taking him down and mounting him, raining down with punches. As Kakinuma and Takanishi made their way into the ring, but got cut off by Kajiwara. Nishikawa slowly gained his bearings, before going after Kakinuma. Okita and Miyahara brawled, before Okita Football Tackled him, sending them both out of the ring into the floor. Kajiwara threw Takanishi with a huge suplex, landing on his head, as Nishikawa took Kakinuma down, forcing him down, as Kajiwara climbed to the top rope, and flipped back with a Moonsault Press on Takanishi, ending the match! After the match, the three Office kids celebrated, as Okita turned red in anger, tackling Miyahara. As Kajiwara and Nishikawa began to retaliate, Okita slid out of the ring and marched to the back, leaving Miyahara in a heap.
- Manabu Soya, Kazuchika Okada, and Katsuhiko Nakajima banded together to face the team of Katsuyori Shibata, Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega. Shibata, Ibushi, and Omega had the advantage, being the more comfortable tag team in the match, against the more awkward and inexperienced team of Soya, Okada, and Nakajima. Ibushi and Omega used their flashy double team moves teamwork to work down Okada and Nakajima, while Soya and Shibata brawled with each other exchanging strong strikes and attacks. While outside of the ring, Soya threw Shibata into the railing, but was reversed! Soya bounced off of the rail, straight into a kick in the head, which sent him crumpling. Shibata walked into the ring, and charged Nakajima, trading kicks with them, before running and hitting a Knee Strike, sending him down and rolling out of the ring. Shibata turned his attention to Ibushi and Okada. Shibata ran at Okada, and hit another Knee Strike! As Ibushi climbed to the top, Shibata slammed Okada with a Backdrop Suplex, as Ibushi leaped, hitting a Golden Star Press. Okada sat up on instinct, and was met with a Penalty Kick from Shibata, sending him to his back, before being pinned by Shibata.
- The Heavyweight Champion Daisuke Sekimoto allied with Atsushi Aoki to battle the man who will challenge him for his title, Kazunari Murakami and Ryuji Hijikata. The match exploded from the go, Murakami and Sekimoto meeting in a flash of fists, as Aoki and Hijikata met with a fury of kicks and elbows. The four brawled endlessly, as Sekimoto and Murakami spilled out on the floor. The two brawled around the ring, nearly spilling out into the crowd, as Aoki and Hijikata traded stiff kicks in the arm. Aoki gained control, throwing several kicks to Hijikata’s arm, then switching, and clocking Hijikata in the head, sending him down. Aoki capitalized, grabbing Hijikata’s arm, and sinking in the Cross Armbreaker! Aoki tugged and wrenched, as Hijikata thrashed around, grabbing for any way out. As Aoki let out a yell, pulling with all of his might, Hijikata rolled toward Aoki, and slowly stood up, cradling Aoki with him. He stood for a brief moment, before slamming Aoki down. As Aoki bounced, he lost his grab on Hijikata’s arm, before Hijikata shoved himself free, before throwing a hard kick straight to Aoki’s face, sending Aoki crumpling down. Hijikata laughed, as he walked over to Aoki, and locked in a Cross Armbreaker of his own! Hijikata smiled, as he jerked and tugged Aoki’s arm back. Aoki screamed, as the ropes seemed to get farther and farther away. Aoki slowly lifted his hand up, preparing to give up… but the bell rang! Hijikata released, and jumped up in celebration! He stood with his arm in the air, but the referee pulled it down, as he explained there was no winner, as the time limit had ran out! Angry at his win being taken away from him, Hijikata attacked Aoki! Raining down kicks and stomps, Hijikata destroyed Aoki, but Sekimoto, escaping from Murakami, charged the ring! Before he could make it, Hijikata punted Aoki in the head one last time, before running off, just as Sekimoto threw a punch. Hijikata and Murakami met up on the ramp, as Sekimoto looked out at them, before turning his attention to Aoki.
- The Unified Junior Heavyweight Champion Fujita Jr. Hayato teamed with his partner Munenori Sawa, to battle the invading team of All Japan’s KAI and Hiroshi Yamato! From the start, the match exploded from the heat of this rivalry. Hayato and KAI and Sawa and Yamato met in the center of the ring, trading slaps and kicks, with neither team getting a clear control over the other. Sawa got control over Yamato, causing Yamato to retreat to the ropes, before hitting a huge Baseball Punch, sending Yamato tripping and collapsing out of the ring. Sawa made his way over to Hayato and KAI, who were once again trading shots in the ring, kicking KAI in the back of the knee, sending KAI down to the mat. Hayato reared back, and threw a knee, but missed with the Helm, as KAI dodged! KAI hopped up, and hit a left hook, connecting on Sawa’s face. As Sawa stumbled down, KAI turned to Hayato, met with a kick to the head! As KAI staggered, he turned to see Sawa pitching a Baseball Punch, in the nick of time, Yamato charged into the ring and pushed KAI out of the way! KAI watched as Sawa cracked Hayato in the head, sending him out of the ring! Yamato came in from behind Sawa, and hit a German Suplex, sending Sawa cracking into the mat! KAI climbed to the top rope, and dove, hitting a Splash Plancha, for the victory!
- Akihiko Ito is back! After taking a seven month hiatus, Ito is teaming with former BURNING teammates Jun Akiyama and Justin Tyger in his return match, to battle Masayuki Kono, Shuhei Taniguchi, and Chris Prospect! Ito charged Prospect to start the match, showing no signs of slowing down. While Prospect slowly gained control, Ito showed a very impressive opening performance in his return. Throughout the match, Taniguchi and Kono took their aggressions out on Akiyama. As Kono prepared for his rematch against him, Kono focused his attention on breaking down Akiyama. Tyger and Ito went back to their old tag team ways, double teaming and focusing on Prospect. At the end of the match, Akiyama had the advantage on Kono, keeping him out on the floor, as Tyger hit Prospect with a Northern Lights Bomb, and immediately charged Taniguchi, hitting him with a Rolling Solebutt, as Ito grabbed prospect and hit a Dragon Suplex, scoring the pin in his return! After the match, Ito, Akiyama, and Tyger celebrated, before Kono, Taniguchi, and Prospect met them in the ring, before all six exchanged handshakes, with Kono and Akiyama staring down a few extra, tense moments before separating.

A press conference was held today in anticipation of EUGENICS 30, where Daisuke Sekimoto defends his title for the first time against Kazunari Murakami, and Masayuki Kono battles Jun Akiyama in a IDEOLOGY tournament rematch. Kono looks to shock the world again, in his attempt to again beat the legend. Something was different about the conference, as there was a large screen behind the wrestlers, an oddity.
Justin Tyger, the interim president of GATTACA: PROJECT discussed several topics:
- Akihiko Ito’s Return: I’m incredibly excited and happy so see him back. He did a great job in his return match, pinning arguably one of the most decorated juniors in GEN and GATTACA, Chris Prospect. Ito knows he will have basically restart after his back, and he understands. I’ll be extremely excited to see him become a threat for the Unified Junior Heavyweight Championship down the line.
- Potential Joe Doering Return: Again, I’m really excited. Doering was in GURENTAI with me and Kea, and he is a very good wrestler, and from what he’s told me over the past few months, he’s in the best shape of his life, and has improved in the ring. I can’t wait to see him back, and even more dominate that he was before.
- Sekimoto’s Title Win: Congratulations for him, he really deserves it. He fought and clawed and scratched for his shot for months. He deserved one the day GATTACA opened in my opinion, and he stuck by and fought, and when he finally got one, he made the most of it and beat Marufuji. It was sad that it caused Marufuji to leave, but it needed to happen, Marufuji needed to get his head on straight, and it’s good that he realized that. Good luck to him, and I know his title reign will be great for not only him but GATTACA.
- Being All Japan Tag Team Champion: It’s a great honor, and fun to be with Kea again. I hope Kea continues to wrestle for GATTACA when he can, maybe even become more active. It’s great to have him around, he’s a very great wrestler.
After a handful of more questions, Tyger stated that he had an announcement to make, as the lights lowered and a video came up on screen:
Coming soon to GATTACA: PRO, a former IWGP 3rd Champion……
