Hello all. I would love to visit sometime in the near future and hopefully during hockey season. If anyone could help in terms of planning, especially those from BC I would really appreciate it. I'm from NY and have only been to Montreal for the jazz festival.(I drove up with friends) Thanks!

Thanks guys! I guess I need to know where to stay and what to see while there. I need it to be somewhat affordable and easy to get around.

Well um, Stanley Park's a fun place to go. Granville Island also is great, Whistler's amazing, and Steveston Village is awesome. There are also plenty of hotels around town.

Ok well that's a start. i want to come in the fall during hockey season to catch a canucks game. i need to be able to get around fairly easy without a car.

A Canucks game isn't going to be cheap unless you don't mind sitting in the upper levels of GM Place, or in nosebleed seats. Tickets on average now for a decent seat in the lower bowl range from $80-$130 depending on the team the Canucks are playing against.

If your in downtown, the bus/skytrain system is pretty amazing. Upper bowl tickets aren't actually that bad, and you can get them for like $70 a ticket.

It is a part of downtown, in fact, the skytrain virtually stops right outside there.
