Anyone here pick one up yesterday? I got mine, and so far I love it. I haven't had any of the antenna issues that people have mentioned, and my network connections and calls are just fine.
The screen is beautiful.

If it would be available for Verizon I would have it, but unfortunately it isn't. It's a beautiful phone though, I'm jealous of the ones who have it lol.

It hasnt come out here yet but im more than content with my 3rd Gen one.
The 4th one looks pretty nice, shame its got those issues though. But its good you havent had em affect you.

Im waiting on the 4th gen Ipod Touch, hoping it's $199 but with the rumored camera and mic, I really doubt it. But the games run on one are really sharp and non-laggy, but this is coming from a guy who still has a 1G Touch.

Got the Droid Incredible since I'm with VZ and not ATT. I would consider the iPhone if it was with VZ, but so far I'm extremely impressed with my Incredible. I would make sweet love to that phone every night if I could. I wonder if there's an app for that.

Have you actually tried holding it lefty yet? I've heard from a lot of people that if you hold the bottom left part of it your call gets dropped every time. Some guy emailed Steve Jobs complaining about it and he replied with "Just avoid holding it that way." :X

I think the video quality sucks. Flip cameras are better, but if you aren't making videos, it's a good phone I guess.

It looks amazing, but sadly it's not on verizon. I love my iPod touch and it'd be awesome to have that with Internet access everywhere. But I'm just concerned about AT&Ts service. I've heard bad things so I'll hold off on getting it.

I'm going to upgrade here soon.. I have the very original iPhone.. The 400$ one.. That was.. Oh 3 years ago.. It has actually held up very well, I love the iPhone..
Haven't decided if I want iPhone 4 yet, or the 3G white one.. If I keep hearing good things about the 4 I will get it.. TRW any other tidbits on the new phone would be greatly appreciated..
I saw some wild report on yahoo last night.. 5 reasons NOT to get the iPhone 4..
To be honest if you only have 5 reasons not to get it.. I'm still sold on buying it.. You need atleast 10 or 12 problems for me to pay attention..

I'll get it next week when I upgrade from my 3g. I have no issue with AT&T in my area. No drop calls and I always have 3g coverage. My 3G is still in perfection condiditon. I might keep it or see if I can sell it.

Also tried it with both hands, and completely covering the antenna. Not a single bar drop in reception. Even completely covering the black lines at the bottom. No problems at all. |

You ought to look at the Droid Incredible. You can do all that stuff out of the box without hacking it. The interface is not as simple to use as the iPhone and it doesn't have access to all the apps that the iPhone does, but it does have a better camera, supports tethering and I'd have a very hard time choosing between it and an iPhone. I'm an iPod touch user and the only thing the iPhone would really give me is the ability to get rid of my iPod touch. |
