Honestly, one of the main perks to me is not having to carryan iPod along with my cell phone anymore.
I haven't noticed the warmth of the phone being an issue. The video quality is fine for me. I'm not a film maker. But there is no perfect phone. Just like any technology, it is usually obselete by the time it hits stores.

The whole debate over "well, it's a phone and an mp3 player" is moot. My HTC Evo currently has over 300 songs on it, and isn't even close to full. Hell, just about the most basic phones these days have MP3 capability.
Call me when the iPhone gets an 8 megapixel camera, has a 4.3" display, can output HD videos via HDMI cable to a TV, or (though not available everywhere) runs 4G.

^ Nowhere, anywhere can handle 4G.
I got the 3GS in March, probably should of waited for the 4, but I love it, and can't wait to upgrade to the 4

not very impressed with the iphone 4... was on a call yesterday and the stupid antenna cut out on me 3 times... give me an android phone... woulc be ten times happier

If you're referring to the 8MP camera on the Droid X... well, the iPhone camera was actually rated better than the one on the Droid X. Megapixels only matter when you're using something at large scales. Verizon doesn't have a 4G network, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. As for the iPhone 4.. I got it and I love it. The screen is beautiful and the phone as a whole is much nicer than the 3GS. I've experienced mild problems with the antenna.. but I plan on putting a case on it anyway.. so that will actually negate any problem with me covering the antenna. |

I don't understand why megapixels on a phone is such a big deal. If you want to take a high resolution picture, you shouldn't be using a phone camera anyway.

Got the last one my local AT&T store had. That's what the bitch behinds me gets for double parking.
It's a beautiful little machine. The camera is fantastic, as is "retina display", so it's just really aesthetically pleasing. No problems with the antenna yet. Loving multitasking for the quick-switch capability, loving folders for the convenience. Once I get some cash I'll be all over iBooks. Very ergonomically pleasing, too. And I upgraded from a 3G, so the speed is unbelievable. I might be in love.

Although the Iphone4 isn't available in Canada yet. My carrier here is offering me a upgrade to a 32gb Iphone 3GS for $150. I'm considering it. I love my Ipod Touch, and I'm lookng at making the switch from Blackberry to Iphone soon.

Reps from Verizon have stated that they stand ready to sell an iPhone, but it all depends on Apple. I really hope they end up going to Verizon. I don't wanna leave VZW when my contract is up to get an iPhone, but I'd love to have an iPhone, and with it possibly coming to VZW, I won't have to. |
