UFC 118 and Fan Expo is coming to Boston in August and I really REALLY want to go, but this would be my very first event so I have a few questions:
1. How much do tickets usually go for?
2. Does the price of the ticket include the Fan Expo, if not then how much does the Fan Expo cost? And are there any extra costs, like having to pay to meet individual fighters and get their autographs?
3. What is the card for UFC 118?
4. How do I find out which fighters I can meet at the Fan Expo? I really want to know if Forrest Griffin is going to be there.
Thanks.

That's a fantastic card. Edgar/Penn, Florian/Maynard, and Marquardt/Palhares are going to be awesome, while seeing Couture beat up James Toney will also be worth your ticket. Have fun man.

Thanks for the info, I didn't think the prices were that much. Damn, I'm going to have do some serious saving.
Does anyone know if Forrest is going to be at the Fan Expo?

Even though if a certain fighter isn't fighting on the card, that does NOT mean they won't be in town just to catch the event live.
I mean, I can speak from personal experience when I went to Montreal last year for the UFC #97 card and even though he did not have a fight scheduled on the card, "The Axe Murderer" Wanderlei Silva was still in town and did an autograph signing.
Other fighters I met that weekend were Ninja Rua, Vladimir Matushanko, Clay Guida, and Nate Diaz and none of them fought on the card either.
So, you just may get lucky. You never know. Of course, staying at the same hotel as they did most certainly helps too.

So you can pay for the expo and not the event? because Im just gonna go to that.. $200 - $600 is a bit out of my price range ATM, and although I would love to go to the event I'd be happy just going to the Fan Expo. Especially if I get to meet Forrest. August is gonna be a loaded month for me between this, KISS coming to Boston, Raw coming to Boston, and I'm going to Six Flags in August, I need to get like 3 jobs if I want to do all these things. Also, just one last question. Is it free to meet the fighters and get their autographs or do you have to pay for each one as well? Please tell me autographs are included with the price of the ticket.

I believe its free if you have a ticket. Certain tables might have their own prices though.

Right now there is no fighter list for the expo. Fighter lists will be updated on the fan expo site, and if you subscribe to the expo newsletter you might get more news updates and what not. According to the vendor info I read on the site, they are not allowed to charge for fighter autographs and pictures. Here's a link to the FAQ for the expo. www.ufcfanexpo.com/en/August-2010/FAQs/

Apart from the Toney/Couture and Davis/Diaz (in the hope that Diaz gets his arse kicked) fights, I have pretty much no interest in the main card, so I'm glad I don't have to pay for it.
