No, I've never even heard oft that. What's it about? "Eon8.com was a fictitious website designed to appear as mysterious as possible. The site included random codes, a deployment map highlighting heavily populated areas , titles for non-existant operations and a mysterious timer counting down to July 1, 2006. According to Mike, the 23 year-old web designer behind the project, Eon8 project began as an experiment to study how internet users would react to a website of unknown nature and purpose, aside from the apparent fact that it was up to something. Upon the discovery of Eon8.com, internet users began speculating the true nature and purpose of the site, thus further spreading the hype. On June 30th, 2006—the day before the timer’s countdown was to expire, a plethora of Eon8-related YTMND pages were created and on the night the timer was to end, Eon8 crashed from all the traffic it received." The website is still up, it just links you to a message board.

That started off good, but it lost me a bit in some spots. I don't know whether that's the writing style or my five year old attention span.

That started off good, but it lost me a bit in some spots. I don't know whether that's the writing style or my five year old attention span. Yeah, it started off great, but I totally agree, it quickly went downhill. Things became too sporadic and it almost seemed like the writer himself lost interest. Looked a lot more promising when I started it, but oh well, breathes a little bit of life back into this post. I found a site with a bunch of stuff that I'll be more than happy to post if no one else has anything else to contribute as this point in time. None of it s excellent by any means, but some if it is a bit creepy.

I got 40 out of 60. It really wouldn't surprise me if some of those supposed hoax was actually a cover up.

that was awesome! just like the other one about the person walking in the room. I had a great idea. someone should make one up about a fastfood resturant! they could be like cutting up people and sending them out in their hamburgers or something... there was an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer like that called Doublemeat Palace.
