So the other day I finally found Elite 4 at Walmart. Kofi was my most wanted figure so of course I picked him up. Well needless to say I was very disappointed when I saw the terrible paint job on his kneepads. My question is if I was to find another one (I really hope I do) can I put this one in the box, return it, say it's defective and get my money back? I'm not really sure how it works with opened toys. I don't really want to bring it back and pretend it's new as I would hate to have them put it back on the shelves only for someone else to buy it and be upset. Anyway here's some pictures so you can see just how bad the pads are.

Yeah man those can be annoying. My Kofi's pants stained his kneepads black. As OCD as I am its hard to deal with.

walmart is very easy to deal with exchanges/returns, if I were you I'd bring that one with you (in the box and receipt if you still have it) and once you find another Kofi at the walmart ask if you can exchange it because of the defect. I'm sure they will do it easily.

In my experiences, they ask "is there anything wrong with it?" after returning it. Tell em whats wrong with they probably wont put it back on the shelves and still let you return it.

You couldn't tell that they were a mess before you took it out of the package? I can't blame you for wanting to return it, but based on what I've read here, I look each one over VERY closely. As a matter of fact, I take a close look at all the figures that I buy.

There is no way to tell on elite 4 kofi his track pants cover the entire lower body so you can't see his attire or kneepads to check the paint job.
