fantastic. i just don't see the argument against gay marriage at all.
i actually had an argument with a guy from school about this a few weeks ago. his argument is that is demeans the same-sex marriages, which makes absolutely no sense when you look at the divorce rate. same-sex couples aren't exactly perfecting the whole marriage thing.
his next argument was that they can't reproduce. possibly the worst argument i've ever heard. so if a woman is infertile and unable to reproduce, she shouldn't be allowed to marry?

I think you mean heterosexual couples. Same-sex couples = gay couples. haha yeah. early morning typing and me don't work well together. i definitely meant heterosexual couples. |

Im not gay. But I dont care if they get married let them do what they want. Just dont be kissing in front of kids or any other person.

Im not gay. But I dont care if they get married let them do what they want. Just dont be kissing in front of kids or any other person. then that pretty much cancels out their equal rights, so don't even bother legalizing gay marriage if they can't show public affection like every couple should. |

If you're gonna choose an idiotic statement like that, and make all Christians look bad, then you're better off keeping your mouth shut. There are better ways to express that you're not for same-sex marriage. Using elementary phrases isn't one of them. Like I said before, I don't agree with or condone homosexuality, let alone same sex marriage. But I believe that God has given everyone the ability to make their own choices. Only he can truely judge us in the end. |
