Going to see this later today. I'm feeling quite positive, actually. So was I. It was a let down. Topher Grace was the MVP of the movie. With the Yakuza in second.

There were definitely a few inconsistencies and plot holes, the atmosphere of the planet being one of the biggest ones...But, I think for a sequel to a 20+ year old movie that has had 3 other sub par sequels, it did pretty damn good. With the music, the winks and nods to the first movie, and the original predator design showing up, you know that they were thinking about the people who were fans of the original, I dig that. How is the atmosphere of the planet a plot hole? For all we know there could be hundreds of earth like planets out in the universe.

I think he meant when Brody's charaters says that the sun hasn't moved since they got there and then suddenly it was night time. That sort of thing.

I think he meant when Brody's charaters says that the sun hasn't moved since they got there and then suddenly it was night time. That sort of thing. That, and the fact that when they looked up in once scene there were a bunch of visible large planets which would have certainly made the gravity and atmosphere different from Earth's. It's a cool looking shot, but yeah. Nothing to really argue about and didn't make me enjoy the film any less.

i didn't enjoy it. i was better than the avp movies, but i left very unsatisfied. LF's role in the movie really pissed me off too.
i'd wait for this one to come on demand and spare yourself from going to the theatre

OH MY GOD! So, I went and saw this yesterday afternoon and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, by an absolute country mile, this was just the absolute WORST film I've seen all year and quite possible one of the worst films I've ever seen. And utterly rotten experiance. Absolutely nothing happened for the first 40 minutes (and don't say it was used to build up tension, as there was none whatsoever) and I was board rigid for the last 50 minutes. Aweful characters, dire acting (Adrien Brody sucked), the worst 'twist' ending I've ever seen, Laurence Fishburne was in it for all of 10 minutes, a stupidly cliched ending and the fact that it didn't even make up for this with any over the top gore as there was none. A throughly crap film that I would urge absolutely everyone to avoid.
*This is just my opinion of the film*

Hope to see this is the next few weeks as I'm a huge Predator fan.

I loved it. Fastest beginning to a movie ever!
