Looking at the WM26 pics , and for a second after looking at Rey and Swaggers amazing figs , i thought they were all elites. They would of all look sick if they were . But i guess no one would buy basics if we had more elites.

Yup, it's a such shame the primary style of figure is still RA/basic.
I remember an interview where someone from Mattel said something to the effect of We polled a bunch of kids, and one of the things kids wanted the most from the Mattel WWE figures was to be able to do wrestling moves with them... No sh*t. So they came up with the terrible FlexForce line (because everybody loves action features!) and made the main line have outdated articulation.

Mattel is cranking out all of their lines at an impressive rate. How can you possibly complain?

I agree elites are awesome, but they need elite 2 packs, I get bored waiting 2 months for elites. Basics seem like there is an endless flow

Think about it though if they make Elite 2 packs what are theygoing to cost? 30$? 28$? People are not going to pay that much. Colectors maybe but casual moms and dads of kids? no way.I think Mattel is doing a great job.

Mattel are doing fine. They are getting so many elites out that I cannot afford them. I only just finished getting Elite 3 and 4 today, now I gotta save some money for the rest of legends 1 and elite 5. Then after that there will be WM26 elites and legends 2. By then we will probably have protos for Elite 6 and a release date. Stop being a spoilt brat and be gratefull for the elites they have put out so far.

I think they've got the balance right, at-least basics have their own unique molds and are easier to play with than RA.

2 packs would be awesome, they could work as a store exclusive or something
They make DC Universe 2 packs that are sold for about $30 and they sell just fine (except the most recent ones, but thats because the figures in them suck). I'd pay $30 for a 2 pack as long as they were good figures

If they did Elite 2 packs, they could skip the soft goods and include "leather" belts. Have VS. sets, or teams with the tag straps for 27.99 or 29.99

I would love for ALL of the WM figures to be in Elite style!
I personally prefer Elites, and I think most of those figs would look great in Elite form!

I kinda feel as a primary elite collector we are getting the shaft a little bit. Basics have tons of lines with multiple attire for each fig, elites we are just kinda waiting for some new attires, like by the time we get get an orange cena he'll be wearing pink, and with basics we have like 5 orange cenas

Im not saying Mattel is doing bad i mean... ppl like who've been keeping update like me can tell you there doing fantastic. But i just wish they were more elites. But maybe the can do like TRU or a Walmart exclusive 3-pack elite package. Like how Jakks whose to do with the Deluxe figs sometimes.

Well, some of us prefer basics, you know ... as much as I like the addition of shirts/jackets/outerwear, the loose ankle joints are a pain on the elites as is the annoying look of the torso. I still buy some that look great, admittedly, but there are reasons for not wanting more elites and liking the mix they have now. I personally like the current split.

I still buy the elites (mostly to add their accessories or heads to the basic counterparts) but I prefer the basics.
