So I finally found Mattel Legends at TRU the other day-I have been waiting for a long time like most everyone else:...got a lot of LOD figs (set MOC, set to open and a set for a friend) and a another shot of SOME of my loose LOD figs:Anyway....after, I opened some of the Legends figs-I started thinking about making a Carded Ric Flair from Mattel since we may never get one, so after a little work-here is what I came up with:I know most of you will probably rip this apart.....the fig looks okay (made from a Cody Rhodes Elite), but I realize the card isn't that great....my graphics are cut & paste & the photo of Flair on the card isn't the best nor is it a drawing like the other Legends photos, but for a homemade deal, its not bad. I didn't make it to sell, nor really to impress-but thought that some of you Flair marks (like myself) would get a kick out of it.I did try and put a robe on it, but that didn't work out so well: I need to use a bigger insert card, which would allow the robe to flow.....this is why the robe doesn't work on this card (from a Sgt. Slaughter fig)This is the 2nd Mattel Flair fig I have made......here is a shot of my first one, made from a Basic Cody Rhodes:and before I go, here are a few random shots of some of my Mattel figs-Enjoy:-Peace Out, -Wagdaddy

I think it looks cool. Like you said, its not made to impress, but it serves it's purpose. GOD I WISH I COULD FIND LEGENDS. Those Road Warriors are epic.
And I'm totally jealous of your Mattel K-Mart store display...

Flair looks good. I'd maybe throw the NWA title around his waist or something. Love your Mattel display and Kiss pinball.

I love the Flair and the idea behind putting it in the package... however, you have GOT to change that name tag... wheww... I can help you out there if you'd like.

That Flair isn't bad at all! The only thing I would do different is a classic scan. And as someone mentioned a NWA title

Looks nice to me.
The main thing I would say [would be hard] is to make the background pic cartoonish because isn't that how they really are?

I like it. Too bad you didn't just have a Jakks Flair robe you could use.
I plan on making a Flair out of the Terry Funk figure. Then I want to use the Deluxe classic head with the butterfly robe from the Ringside exclusive.

Nice pick ups, I do enjoy the Legends line. Plan to get LOD myself soon. Nice LOD collection too.
I like the Flair, it's simple but effective, and it shows personality to your collection.

He used the NWA World Title, the good design anyway. Where do you think the design for the WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Championship came from? All three of those are the same belt.
Nice job with the figure, I would have used the Classic head but it looks great either way. Hopefully we eventually get a Mattel Flair though. Its definitely on my want list.
