....well, I went into Walmart after leaving my friend's house tonight, with every intention of getting a prepaid phone, as I just don't have the money right now to pay my monthly phone bill and it's suspended atm. I never made it back to electronics. I walked down the figure aisle....that's where I went wrong, LOL. They stocked a set of Elite 4. I grabbed Morrison, Kingston, and Kane. Great figures, for sure. Better than the Basic counterparts of each person, IMO. Couple notes:
I still don't like Morrison's scan. He is probably the only person whose scan I just don't really care for on either the Basic or the Elite. All the others that have both, I like one or the other. But JoMo just doesn't click with me. I got the darker coat variant! I had no clue there was a variant, until I read the one thread showing the 2 coat colors and the blue and purple Jericho. Glad I got the darker one, as the red one looks too light IMO for JoMo. Kofi is great. I like this scan much more than the Basic figures' scan. The Basic 1 and PPV2 figures. Much more serious look, which fits the last time I saw Kofi. Green attire is fine with me. I would have like the black but it's better than the yellow. I waited for the Elite 4 version of Kofi, that's why I didn't get the PPV2 one. The track pants are the best thing he could have come with. He hasn't worn the jacket for the longest time, and he was only entering with the pants. Kane is a great figure, again much better than the Basic counterpart. However! The scan on the Basic figure, IMO, is much better. The sick sadistic smiling scan is great, I do like it, but the serious look is much better for his current story of finding Undertaker's "attacker"...and it looks much better with the towel than the smiling scan does. The chains were a great addition. I never expected him to come with the chains from the house arrest storyline in 2003. And they aren't hard plastic, more a hard rubbery material, that makes for a much easier removal process than it would have been with a harder material. I wouldn't recommend it too much though, because it's a soft enough rubbery material that they could snap with too much stretching, and then you are effed in the aye. Anyways, here are some pics....didn't take as many as I would have, because it's 0350hrs and I'm tired.
