Nope. I was referring to you saying he's "Overrated". I guess if he's overrated, all those guys are cans. Cans? No. They are not cans. You act like he is destroying these guys at will. I'd agree with you on Robbie Lawler, he made that fight look effortless, and like I already have a number of times in this thread, I give him respect for what he can do and has done. My problem are the people who look at this guy and act like he is the best fighter in the world. You're starting to come off as one of those people. I have already seen posts on the internet about "We want Shields vs. Spider!" or "GSP vs. Shields!" Both of those guys decimate Shields 11 times out of 10. Again, I don't hate the man himself. He's not the one over hyping himself. I don't like the people who bow at his knees.

Jake Shields the best fighter in the world? Haha, stop making assumptions sir.
Haven't seen any of those kind of posts here, so take your anger out elsewhere. Sheilds is a good fighter. Get over it.

You are trying to create an argument here. I came in here, gave the man respect, and noted that it's the crazy fans who are annoying. There isn't a single instance of me saying he is not a good fighter or a bad fighter in this entire thread. What you're going on about is based on nothing at all. Anger? Who's angry? And I've seen the posts over on Sherdog, MMAForum, the MMAJunkie forums, etc.

Yeah, but you came in here when no one was overrating him and said he was overrated.
"Shields, in my opinion, is one of the most over-rated fighters in the world right now."
No one here was saying he was the best fighter in the world like you said. Maybe you should make your way to real MMA forums and voice your opinion there.

So I came into an MMA thread about Jake Shields, in the MMA board, and voiced my opinion about Jake Shield's current hype (from some fans) in the world of MMA and you're upset? The offense you are taking to this is unreal, by the way.

I'd rather Dana try harder to get Mousasi in the UFC...but whatever. Shields will be an interesting addition to the UFC. But no way does he beat GSP.

Mousasi can't go anywhere as long as he's signed to Strikeforce.

He's now officially signed and fighting Kampmann in California "in a few months". Probably at UFC 121.

He's fighting Kampmann. Anthony Johnson's next fight will be at Middleweight.

Miguel Torres is a dumbass. "I think he's getting out of 185 because he's a little bit afraid of Anderson (Silva). Anderson's a tough guy to fight at that weight class and he's thinking (Georges) St. Pierre's an easier fight. I think it might be too much of a weight cut. Sometimes trying to cut that it's a little bit too much for you and I think Shields is going to find out right off the bat. He's a great wrestler but at that weight class, cutting that weight is going to be rough." What? He's been making 170 for pretty much his whole career besides those 3 recent fights and now the 170 cut is "rough"? It's already been documented that he was planning on fighting at 170 and 185, but the UFC/Dana White offered him the 170 fight first. My personal opinion is that he should stay at 170, but the guy had options. you, Miguel. That was a ridiculous statement.

Given his style, it's pretty insulting to Jake to assume he woudl think GSP is an easier fight than Silva.
