New promotional material sent out for TNA's ECW-themed August pay-per-view has a new name for the show - Hardcore Justice: One Last Stand.
A new commercial for the show features fans chanting "ECW."
It will be interesting to see how WWE reacts, if they do at all, to TNA using ECW to promote their product

I'm starting to like this ecw angle less and less everyday
If they dont have Heyman at "Hardcore Justice" then this whole storyline will fail

One Last Stand? Are you kidding me?!
If I didn't know any better, I'd swear up and down that Vince owned TNA, and was trying to restart the whole ECW fad that failed in 05'/06'.

Yes, the concept of One Night Stand failed so badly. I mean, the highest buyrate for that year besides "the big four" is such a failure.

The PPV should be awesome.
The idea behind it sucks.

The ECW revival of 2005-2006 WAS a failure. Granted the Pay-Per-View in itself did fantastic numbers. The first month of ECW of Sci-Fi did draw much, at all. Hence the reason McMahon completely changed the format of the show.
This has already been done and will be compared to it, in every aspect. Which it should, considering it's an idea that's already been done and very un-original... really, One Last Stand? Haha.

We're talking about one pay-per-view which is what TNA is doing. What can it hurt?

SG, his comment was about the ECW fad failing. ECW on Sci-Fi was a build off of the success of One Night Stand... which was a fad. Everyone bought into it, even said "ECW is back!" Then WWE tried doing it on national TV, with maybe 1/3 of the original ECW talent. Ratings were awful, McMahon realized all the milk from the ECW cash cow was gone... changed the format.

I hope this gets <10,000 again, it's what it deserves.
What a load of garbage, seriously.
I hope this ECW bollocks is over after this one PPV.

They'll get a huge lawsuit. Vince still owns the intellectual rights to all these guys. Hahahaha. "One Last Stand"
I was expecing the tagline to be 'Hardcore Justice: I INVITED THEM!!'
