I think maybe it would be to much in money and not many people would buy it.

I don't need two packs but a PPV elite set would be pretty awesome.

it'd be at least $25 for a 2 pack - they'd clog up shelves - UNLESS they broke out the good, larger accessories for them... i'd buy 'em anyways (but i'm a sucker).

The $25-30 dollar price tag would turn most people besides collectors away

Mattel kinda showed their hand with the DC Universe Classics 2packs. They don't feel like 2packs sell all that well especially with a $30 price tag. If we get them (and I'm sure we will one day) they will be $30 and will most likely be a TRU or WalMart exculsive.

not needed. there are 6 guys per set. there aren't even enough legitimate tag teams left in the WWE to warrant any 2 packs.

I dont even like the idea of 2packs anymore, like someone else already stated there are not that many legit tag teams in the wwe anymore... I dont really want to pay near $20 for 2 basic repaints really... unless its a tag team that does not really get single releases. Not to mention as many have said already, the price tag would be way too big for them to sell enough.
I like the idea of 2packs going to the legends line instead though and elites getting ppv sets.

There would be a hell of a lot more repaints clogging the shelves with alternate attires than there would be brand new tag teams for the Mattel line if Elite 2-packs were introduced.
So, yeah, it's for the best that Elite 2-packs aren't made available outside of, say, a future internet exclusive set.

I'd be interested if it was a limited edition thing, and Mattel went ALL out on the figures, and included some amazing accessories.
Just like, a thrown together set? Nah, I'll pass.

The idea itself is good, but like the Wfig'ers stated the price would drive people away, especially since the Elite in my area is about $19.I'd rather buy them separate so that I wouldn't have to waste a huge chunk of $ on one go.

Well they showed that WM26 Shawn Michaels figure, and didn't show Taker yet.. So I'd guess they may have made an elite PPV two pack of them...possibly.

How much product do you want on the shelves? Honestly...we have basic, basic 2-packs, Elite & Legends. Plus various exclusives. 5 sets of each except Legends, and it is only July.

We really have gotten much more than we asked for. Many of us didn't even want the change to Mattel to happen, but after it did we were all over it, including myself. I was thinking about never collecting WWE again when Mattel took over, but when the figures were released I couldn't belive how great they looked. Since then, I've gotten 21 Mattels, and only got 3 Jakks TNA figures, 1 Jakks Jericho that I kept MOC, and a I just got an Ultimo Dragon off eBay. So I'd say we've gotten much more than expected from the Mattel Line, and Elite 2 Packs are only good if they're internet exclusives. Like the Dream match Pack idea would be good for Elites. Or even Legends Tag Teams being TRU Exclusives, or Wrestlemania Elite 2 Packs of the main events that are exclusive to TRU or RSC would be great for collectors. I just don't see them being a normal line.

An Elite 2 pack exclusive would be the only way i would get them. You would be lookin at 30$ roughly for a 2 pack which would have a ton of repaints most likely.

The only Elite 2 packs I would really be interested in would be Legends 2-packs. Like Demolition, LOD, Hart Foundation, Rockers, Brothers of Destruction.
I wouldn't mind 2-packs for some PPVs I guess. Like championship matches or something.
