The topic says it all.
I only just checked out the WM26 Proto's and it looks like they're starting to include accessories, albeit "WM26" logo chairs...
How come we are almost 3 quarters of a year into Mattel's WWE figures and NO basic or Elite figures come with WWE title belts? Not many collectors want the ugly shaped FLEXFORCE and the weird accessories that come with it...has anyone heard news regarding this other than "stay tuned" ?

I know, I'm pissed, too. It's so stupid, and there's no excuse. A WM 26 Cena vs. Batista set and no WWE Championship.

It can't be that hard either...nor can there be any issues with reproduction, given the majority of titles people want are currently used in WWE, lol...it's almost like Rey's WM26 Avatar outfit is somewhat classed as an accessory...no long ponytail from the looks...

I honestly dont know why everyone is so fussy about not having belts yet. The Jakks ones work fine. The belts will come in due time.

..anyone want to share just how long it took Jakks to make belts.
New company kids - one that has put out a higher quality and better detailed product. Let them do what they do best, and be patient.
Would you rather have a rushed product, or something they took their time on? Come on for a second, THINK.

I'd also like Mattel to take their time to give us a nice detailed product.
However, I would like it if they maybes had 1 or 2 figure belt protos to show us at SDCC if they've even started on any yet just so it gives us a look at something & shuts people up so we don't see this thread repeated anymore, LOL.

i'm happy with most of the Jakks WWE belts but I'd love to see Mattel make some figure-sized classic WCW belts, such as the WCW US title

Ive said it every time this is posted it took Jakks nearly a year and a half before any belts were released and those were toys r us exclusive in a few box sets. It took them till TTL in 1999-2000 before belts were even released at mass retail stores a full 4-5 years after they had the license so its honestly not that big of a deal. Im sure by the end of the year we will see some popping up or early next year at the latest.

I remember having my parents driving me store to store looking for the pack that came with the belts. I still have the damn little rubber things somewhere.

But last time I checked my Jakks belt still work with mattle so I can wait.

Mattel had the luxury of knowing what Jakks did for the last 10 years and they should have been prepared for putting out accessories that consumers had already grown accustomed to seeing. Marvel put an NWA belt around Jeff Jarrett in Series 1 of their Impact line, we had the X-Title by series 3, and all those figures came with accessories.
Yes Mattel has done an amazing job but I strongly disagree with the fact that people should be patient about not having belts. Its something Mattel should have planned for knowing they were going to take on the line. I love the Elites, I think the clothes have been great, but I think you look at Elite Chris Jericho and go its not worth $15 for a microphone. He could have easily come with the WHC around his waste.
Just because Mattel puts out a great product doesn't mean collectors or consumers in general don't have complaints. The overwhelming fact that Jakks had a surplus of belts when Mattel struck a deal with WWE to take over the line should have been enough for Mattel to figure it out. This is the industry standard, you have to do this, and then some. They have done plenty of "then some," but weapons/accessories/belts are a gaping hole in what should have been a basic part of the original launch planning.
I personally believe they thought the 1 of 1000 belts were good enough for the time being and that FF would cover the weapons. They misjudged their market. It happens, but its not illegal to call them out on it either.
