Lyoto seemed scared in the second shogun fight and tried to change his game
i hope he comes into the rampage fight like that so rampage can beat the piss out of him
i also wonder if lyotto knows his dad wants him to retire
that cant help gis confidence

Lyoto does know (obviously).
As long as Shogun is champion, Lyoto will always be #2.

Rampage is going to kill him . ;D I wouldn't say that. And everyone knows i'm ahuge Rampage fan. To me this all comes down to if Rampage has his mind and heart in the right place, If he comes in with no gameplan like in the Rashad fight he will lose. However if we get the Rampage that was once champion then he can win. And I only say he will win because I think Lyoto will go back to that Karate point style and try to win a decsion and then I think Rampage would catch him. At the same time Lyoto has a way better chance of winning than Rampage does. IDK if i'll pick a winner for this fight. |

Rampage's style seems to cater towards some of Lyoto's defensive strikes. On the other hand, when he actually gets a chance, Rampage punches harder than most people Lyoto has faced.
I don't know. Too early for me to call a winner, but I'm certainly interested in what Rampage will be doing to train for the fight. Greg Jackson and the rest of Rashad's camp kind of called out Rampage for seeming like he was only working out, and not really training or coming up with a gameplan. And with all due respect, they weren't wrong...

Nice, I hope Machida recovers from his last loss against Shogun and beats Rampage. Also not so much on topic but I want to see a 3rd match between Shogun & Machida.

Lyoto KO'ed Thiago and Rashad, I'll give him credit for the Thiago one but we all know Rashad doen't have a good chin, Thiago almost had and so did Rampage but he gassed him self, Like I said earlier I see him going back to the point taking style and not the agressive style, and Rampage has a great chin. I just don't see him winning with a KO, I see Lyoto winning by decsion and Rampage catching him leaping in or out and gett the KO or TKO. |

Rampage will try to swing for the fences/run after him after he gets frustrated because he can't get his hands on him. I could seriously see Rampage shooting in for a takedown. But I'm going with Machida by decision. In my mind, its going to look a lot like the Tito Ortiz/Machida fight minus the triangle. |

a year ago I would have bet everything on Rampage...but after seeing his performance against Rashad I think Lyoto will pick Rampage a part.
