Best Warrior post I've ever read. I couldn't agree more. Wrestling was completely different back then. Your character and look was basically everything. Warrior was perfect for that era, the best era in my opinion. Hence, the genius of Vince McMahon comes into play. He had Warrior squash most of his opponents in short order (especially early in his run ) so what the crowd remembers was the power of the entrance, a couple of high impact moves, and the energy of Warrior's post match celebration. I have no doubt that Hogan and Bischoff drew on this for Goldberg's presentation in WCW too. The formula for his success was much like Warrior's.

He was awesome, plain and simple. the IWC, they give Jeff Hardy the same poop. Wrestling is about more than holds. Warrior created a great magical energy, and had classic fueds. This. He was my all time favorite wrestler when I was a kid. He was colorful, vibrant, exciting, and fun to watch.
