Aw, I wish he would have said "Go yourself, San Diego" instead. Great win for the future light heavyweight champ.

Bones vs Evans for a title shot. Book it Joe! Um. No. Evans already earned his title shot. Do Jones vs. Franklin. No need to be an ass. Just a dream fight of mine.

I'd say since Bones has already fought Bonnar and won, now put him there with Forrest and see how he does. I think that would be a tremendous fight.

^ How crazy was that knock-out shot from Gomi?? NOBODY has ever put Tyson Griffin away like that, so that is saying quite a bit right there. I think with that win, that clearly puts Gomi into "the mix" for sure.

Well, that's what I get for betting against Jonny Bones, I guess. He may just be the "chosen one" to end the streak of LHW champs losing their titles in their first few fights. I don't see him going anywhere but up regardless of who he faces.

I'm just excited at how much of a treat it will be to see Jones vs. Machida, Shogun, Lil Nog, or even Anderson.
a fight with Forrest or Franklin would make sense though.

Highlight of the night for sure. (next to Sonnen interview) Beautiful KO from Gomi.

Leading up to the show, I didn't care for the card except for Gomi/Griffin(which I thought would be FOTN) and seeing another Bones Jones destruction. Bones delivered again but Gomi delivered HUGE. Looks like Gomi's got his mojo back that he lost after the Nick Diaz fight. His Sengoku run was very disappointing and giving Florian to Gomi as a first UFC fight wasn't the best idea. Huge, huge win and a beautiful KO. He looked like the Gomi of old, and even with the colored hair.
The rest of the card was meh. I still, in all of his UFC fights, have still yet to be entertained by Okami. The guy just does absolutely nothing for me.

Griffin just made the mistake of fighting with Gomi close-range instead of long-range like Florian did.

pretty good night of fights. what do you guys think is next for Gomi? i think if the following guys win their next fights they would make great fights for Gomi: Nate Diaz if not Nate, then Ross Pearson if not Ross, then Mac Danzig
if the UFC slowly progresses with Gomi like they are with Jon Jones, he can definitely be a threat in the LW division.

Didn't Nate jump to WW permanently?
For some reason, I could see Gomi getting paired with Dennis Siver sometime soon.

oh yeah, i just checked and Nate's fighting Marcus Davis now. Siver could be a possibility, possibly on the rumored 122 Germany card?

They should give Gomi Evan Dunham.

or George Sotiropolis(Sp?) . A top guy who needs that one big marquee fight to bring him into the big time. Also, with the hype he's been getting, no better opponent to face than Gomi to see where his skills are.
