I saw something similar to this the other day. I was at KMart and I saw a Series 4 Shawn Michaels with the ponytail head from the Jericho/Michaels 2pack. It was sealed really well and at first I was wondering if it was some kind of variant. But then I noticed a really small white line where the bubble attaches to the card and realized it had been resealed.

That's horrible!
People are so stupid.
I would LOVE to see the mugshot of someone who got caught doing that.
Little bitch!

Why bother putting the jacket with it, i would have kept the slaughtwr jacket ahah that's actually what I was thinking. a bit baffling that they put the jacket with it too. Sunglasses too.

I simply cannot believe that some of you think this is no big deal. The FACT of the matter this is FRAUD. It doesn't matter what figs you collect, returning an intentionally altered item is wrong.
Add to that the fact that many of these go on Ebay and it's double fraud because stolen goods aren't supposed to be sold on Ebay.
On the flip side, I don't blame employees of the stores at all for taking the returns. The next time you are in a toy section, look at the plethora of Toy Story/Marvel/Star Wars figures. The odds are very good that you have walked by switched figures and not noticed. If you were a sales clerk and had 50 items-per-day come across your counter, how attentive would you be to a $10 figure return?

lol, i'd still be happy if i found either of the 2..but seriously, they cost $34 at retail in australia so i actually don't blame people that do it...$34 for 1 figure is highway robbery.

I hate Jakks con artists. Theyre so jealous that Mattel is making so much better of figs that they can't stand it so they basically trade in their old collection for the new ones. Its bull crap but the worst part is these are probably the same idiots that said they wouldn't be hopping on the Mattel train, but now look at them... Pathetic. I cant help but think you may be a bit of a mattel fanboy. I think if the people doing the switcharoos already had a mattel Slaughter they would just swap the older and less detailed slaughter for the newer one.

I dont understand why people do this or how a store takes them back seeing as they had tape on the bottom. Stores in the US seem very lazy with stuff like this. Retail is too stupid to know the difference and "customer service" employees don't get paid enough to argue with a customer...

This has been driving me crazy with Elite 4s recently. I've been trying to hunt down Morrison and have only found two, one that was a switched for an Edge and one with stolen coat and glasses. I think my brother finally found one for me today, but I need to have him send me a pic so I know it hasn't been swapped, too. It's pretty pathetic that that's the reality of collecting wrestling figures out here. I saw this at target today. at first i thought they just took out the coat & glasses but then i realized that this is the morrison that came with the miz

Wow, what a total piece of crap. What's next? Switch up a Hasbro Jake Roberts for the Series 2 Legends version that's going to come out? Hey, thanks for the idea!! I will make sure to remember to do that one as well hahaha I remember in 2004, my Jakks John Cena I got in the Youth Box set of 6 figures broke on me, his leg came right off. So I put him away and never thought about him. Until a year later when I purchased some figures from Walmart and I remembered I had that broken Cena. I still had the receipt and I brought in Cena with the receipt and they looked at it and said, "Okay, just go get another figure for the price" so I picked up the first ever RA Snitsky figure. Store people who work there really don't care about if it's the right figure or not, all they care about is that they make the customer happy and that they are getting paid to be there to do their said job.
