I see your point. It would be insane to have Zeus in a package with the word legend written on it.

You're taking it far too literal.
It's like "WWE Superstars". They aren't "Superstars". They're "Wrestlers" It's just a phrase that WWE can copyright and claim intellectual property over, as well as present everything that isn't the current day product as a brand/product.
I like the name. It'll do.

Classic Superstars sounds better but as long as Mattel continues to make cool "legend" figures, I don't care what they call them.

I mite contact WWE and ask them how they class old school wrestlers. Will throw out the names Butch and Luke from the Bushwhackers as they are going to be series 1 of the Legends 2 packs.
Either way, its too late now. The series has been named and it would be a shame to change it now.
Umm..... anyone got Vince's email address? ;D

People complaining are taking the term too seriously.
it is a marketing term, nothing more.
I for one like the name and can't think of anyone they would possibly make that I would be against them putting in it. It fits the WWE Legends brand and makes good marketing sense.
Not to mention that they've done a great job so far.
