WWE Hall of Famer Bobby Heenan has suffered several injuries in the last several weeks.
Heenan fell several weeks ago and broke his hip. While in rehabilitation, he slipped and suffered a broken shoulder as well as a fractured hip. Heenan will now have surgery on August 4th for the broken shoulder.
Due to these injuries, Heenan has been forced out of his appearance at the NWA Legends Fan Convention. He was originally going to attend the convention in a wheel chair.
Get well soon Brain.

Heenan's later years have not been good to him.

I hate to say it, but I don't think he'll be around much longer. That poor man has gone through nothing but suffering these past few years. It's always depressing to see how he used to be compared to how he is now.

I wish he never had to get old. My heart will break the day he goes.

My friend's grandmother fell and broke her hip in 2006, and she died like 3 weeks later in the hospital. She just wasn't recovering at all, worsening in fact. I do wish Bobby all the best in his recovery, and wish him a happy and quick journey down the road.

Aw man, that's horrible. He's had it extremely rough the last few years. I hope he has a safe and full recovery.

The saddest part of all of this is that he still does appearances.
In the shape he's in he should not still pander to audiences.
In May I went to a WWE house show and a local fed handed out fliers advertising him. You wanna know how one person sold him? "Come check us out; come out and meet Bobby Heenan... Yes He is still alive and will be at our show!"
Anyways, I hope he heals up and can enjoy himself.

Damn that is really sad to hear. My great-grandma has been falling a lot like that too so it really sucks.

It breaks my heart to see Heenan in the shape that he is in now. Hopefully he gets better, but sadly I realize that there's a chance he may not.
