It's probably dually because I'm hyper selective about which modern figures I get (in spite of the size of that segment of my collection) and because I was collecting way before Real Scan tech had ever been introduced, but it always gives me a little chuckle when the sculpts on BCAs, Hasbros, and LJNs are referred to as "scans". Not a knock, just symptomatic of how long I'd been away from collecting until very recently.
Prior to really getting serious about my collection in the past two years, the last (wrestling) figure I had purchased was the Rulers of the Ring Justin Credible...at retail...when it was released.
I'd sure like to have that one back.

I only had maybe 11-12 Jakks figures. Now I've got like 35-40 So I waited 20 years to get into bca's haha

Guess I'm just used to talking about current figures and their headscans, even though 99.9% of those figures, I won't end up buying unless it's a certain wrestler. *cough*Austin/Roberts/Piper/Pillman/etc.*cough*
Always loved that figure! I never found it at retail though but I really wanted it as a kid. It's one of those figures that is usually fairly cheap MOC but I'm sure you'd much rather have your original one.

While the prospect of finding my three totes worth of BCAs, TTLs, and ECW guys is something of an end game dream of mine, I'd settle to recapture that one again. I was a big PJ Polaco fan growing up.

Oh my, that's quite the collection! Not sure if you've shared it already but if you haven't please do! I have a few boxed BCA and TTLs but no ECW figures....yet. *looks at SF Toymakers Raven and Credible figures*
I'm a big fan of him as well. I still remember freaking out as a kid when Justin Credible made his WWF debut, attacking Chris Jericho after an X-Pac/Brian Christopher match, haha.

Regrettably, those are likely long gone. I still dig when I'm at my folks' place sometimes on the off chance they got tucked away somewhere inconspicuously as none of us can remember giving them away, but thus far they're nowhere to be found.

The shipping will cost more than the figs themselves haha Man I’d buy so many BCAs if the shipping were combined on some lol. To me, loose BCAs are worth $1-$3 depending on who it is and condition. I had one guy offer me a lot of 30 of them but he wanted $170. I told him the best I could do was $60-$70 for the lot. No BCA is worth more than $3 loose! They are all extremely common to find. Plus, most loose I’ve seen don’t have any accessories soooo....$3 is the limit. I’m still hoping to find a huge lot for a decent price!

A trip to my parents' place confirmed my long held suspicion: the collection of my youth is no more. Well, almost. Somehow, of all the figures I had in my early teens (which filled almost three bins/totes) that spanned a wide variety of styles, lines, and promotions, my original collection is now survived by a 1996 OSFTM Sting, a TTL "House of Pain" series Undertaker, and a 2002 ToyFair Exclusive TTL Triple H. I'd sure like to dig through those bins one last time. I hope whoever got them made the most of them, but I severely doubt it. On the plus side, I found a bin full of Beanie Babies that somehow survived, in spite of the fact that their presence in the household preceded most of my wrestling guys.

I can grumble about the situation, but the last time I drifted away left no sign of me coming back, the same way the first time I fell out of the hobby in the midst of my Hasbro days. Fortunately, I've had the opportunity to chase down some things that were once out of reach, so that's been fun.
