Did they ever make a Sycho Sid in black or were they all in blue? If I'm not mistaken, the Superstars Series 5 release was in black trunks. I believe you are right. Blue trunks were series 3.

eBay listings have me remembering why I loathe the aftermarket collecting game so much. I've seen no less than four listings for individual 'Off the Mat' belts priced at obscene (for the product) markups, described in each as 'very rare'.
On what planet?

$99 for 64 mint figures isn't too bad. I tend to find those huge lots on eBay asking for high prices with the boxes not in the best shape. I remember somebody was selling like, 30 BCA Austins but most of them had bent corners or water damage or just weren't in the best condition. $120 plus shipping.
Quality over quantity.

Oh yeah for sure! I just recently went through all mine from when I was a kid. My ex's kid destroyed a bunch and I'm missing a lot so this definitely helps. I've been listening to the major podcast and just hearing stories made me want to get my memories back. I had a bunch of mocs but that same person drove me into debt and had to sell all of them.

Here’s my recent haul from a nearby comic shop. The loose figures were all $0.99 each I opened all of the carded figures, except for the LOD 2 pack. Sure did bring back memories when opening them and being hit with that new BCA smell lol. Really enjoy the pricing on the Headbangers, costing me about the same thing they would have cost me 20 years ago. I’m hanging LOD on my wall with my carded Superstars Series 1 and 2, and I’ve decided to track down carded versions of Superstars Series 3 to add to the wall. I loved the entire run of the BCA figures but those first 3 sets of the Superstars Series are my favorites.

Yup, listening to the podcast really makes one want to go out and buy figures, haha.

Was British Bulldog's torso ever re-used for another figure? I've always considered his body to be really weird. The Jakks BCA line always had issues with scale, I feel like they tried to scale down a bit after Series 1-2, but that had the end result of British Bulldog being less muscular and smaller than Owen Hart and Shawn Michaels. It also resulted in that incredibly skinny Undertaker that came in the Buried Alive set (and other re-releases).
I still love the figure and his arms are perfect for doing the running powerslam, but it's just so weird he's so skinny when Bulldog at that time was anything but. The dude was incredibly jacked. It would have been super easy for them to just re-use Ultimate Warrior's body for Bulldog, but they took the time to give him a new torso with no abs or definition.

I don't know if I can picture Warrior's torso working for Davey Boy. I think I get what they were going for, as Bulldog had a stockier build toward the end of that run with the WWF, but there could have definitely been a bit more definition than he had. Maybe not Warrior/Shawn/Owen levels, but certainly a little more abdominal definition than he had.

Yeah, I can see what they were going for with the stocky thing. Looking at photos, he didn't actually have very defined abs, but he was really kinda broad and wide with huge biceps which doesn't come across in his figure at all. If anything, he looks like the British Bulldog when he first started out before he ballooned up, which is kinda cool too. I've finished modifying my Slammers Pillman to be a regular BCA, as well as picking up Hart Foundation jackets for the whole crew. All that's left to do now is make a custom Anvil like people in this thread have.

He seems like such an ingrained piece of furniture for time that timeframe, but his '97 run only lasted from the tail end of April 'til the beginning of December.

He seems like such an ingrained piece of furniture for time that timeframe, but his '97 run only lasted from the tail end of April 'til the beginning of December. That and his contract status (being paid per appearance in '97) are the main reasons why I believe Jim Neidhart never got a BCA figure. Thankfully, Jakks made up for it later with his Classic Superstars figures. I've seen great Anvil customs over the years (especially from ellisd), but I don't think I've ever seen anyone attempt a commemorative BCA Hart Foundation set. With or without Pillman, this would be the centerpiece of my collection. I'd even settle for the crappy Best of '97 pleather vests instead of jackets.
