Mideon really should have been made. They obviously had plenty of time, because Viscera got made and Vis came about a month and a half after Mideon. The two pack with Undertaker & Viscera really should have been Mideon & Viscera, or a boxset with Mideon, Viscera, Undertaker, and Paul Bearer.

As far as boxed sets go, the proposed Ministry of Darkness 4-pack due out in the 3rd quarter of 1999 was as much of a sure thing as any until it was pulled before production. It was to include Undertaker and Viscera (re-releases from their 2 Tuff Series 5 2-pack) along with new repaints of The Acolytes (unpainted prototypes were constructed and pictures were sent to a few websites while promoting the aforementioned third quarter Jakks lineup; I've heard of them described as "fair" with parts that were recycled from existing figures). The reason given for its cancellation was because of the Ministry disbanding. Again, something which there wasn't much control over on the Jakks side of things. Regarding Mideon, I just think Jakks was too lazy to create a new sculpt for Dennis Knight.

Yeah, makes sense. Neidhart wouldn't have been a hard figure for Jakks to make, they'd have probably gone the route of a re-painted Vader with a new head. If it wasn't for that pay-per-appearance deal, I'd bet that's the figure we would have gotten. Yeah, I think a repainted Vader torso with Superstars series 4 HHH arms would be a good formula for Neidhart....at least thats what I used.

Well for my top 5 box sets, I am gonna pick PPV box sets I would have liked to have seen made.
1. Final Four In Your House box set Like I stated earlier on of Austin, Bret, Taker and a bloody Vader
2. Revenge Of The Taker In Your House box set Ahmed Johnson, Crush, Savio Vega and Faarooq with a sling for his arm
3. Canadian Stampede In Your House Hart Foundation set Bret Hart, British Bulldog, Owen Hart & Brian Pillman (well duh, who else would be in it??)
4. D-Generation X In Your House set Shawn Michaels (in his DX gear), Triple H (in shirt and jeans), Ken Shamrock (in black gimmicks) & Sgt. Slaughter (in street gear)
5. Summerslam 98 Ladder Match set Triple H (in purple gimmicks), The Rock, Chyna (in that green outfit she wore), Mark Henry, a ladder and the IC Title.
Those would definitely be my dream box sets that Jakks could have did for the BCA era that would have made me get ever so excited over.

Looks like a tag team set they'd have actually released. As for the box sets... 1) Hart Foundation - - Bret Hart (some form of all black, think like Summerslam 97) - Owen Hart (I know the fig wasn't out yet, but would have been a great debut for Superstars 6) - Bulldog (just any version) - Pillman (in jeans and a jacket) 2) Nation - - The Rock (basically 2 Tuff 3 with elbow pads and proper boots) - Owen Hart (could have easily re-used 2 Tuff 3) - Mark Henry (some form of re-paint of his Superstars figure) - D'Lo (the version from the 2-pack with Kama, but with a different head)

On a side note, was there ever an RA figure (CS figure, most likely) of HBK that had the green/white attire of Superstars 1? I'd be curious to see it, if Jakks had made one.

Nope; I was going to say the CS IE Two Dudes With Attitude 2-pack before I checked again and saw how different it was. There really is nothing close to that attire (which was based off of his SummerSlam 1995 look).

Ahh, a shame. Jakks would have made some good money off a figure like that in the RA line, factoring in the cool attire, and the nostalgia factor of their original Shawn Michaels figure.
A DA or RA version of that figure would definitely be something I'd wanna get my hands on!

personally, I think the last CS set should have been the same as the first Superstars set. same attires and everything. they had everyone under contract. Bret, Shawn, Razor, Diesel, Goldust, and Undertaker. It would have been a great way to go out, with a very star heavy line.

I don't even think Shawn Michaels wore the gimmicks he is wearing in the WM 14 and DTA series. It can be argued that the DTA series gimmicks were probably supposed to be like the ones he wore at Wrestlemania 14, but they aren't totally the same. And those white gimmicks he is wearing the WM 14 series, I honestly don't ever think I seen Shawn wear those.

I'd have definitely bought the Bret and the Shawn. As for the WMXIV HBK figure, I was thinking the other day whether or not I'd seen him wear that. It looks enough like the ladder match w/ Razor Ramon attire, or at the very least a poor man's WM12 figure, albeit with red/black hearts instead of gold/silver.

It's definitely turned me off from being an active collector nowadays. I don't know what I would do if brand new WWE figures were $4-5.99. It was the little things like that which made the BCA line so much fun to collect years ago. I miss looking in stores for them, as scouring eBay and making deals on the Classifieds just isn't the same feeling. Hell, I'd buy Jacqueline or Dr Death if I saw them today lol. When was the last time everyone remembers seeing BCA figures in stores? Does BCA Backlash count? Cause I remember seeing a few Bossmans and Val Venises up until 05 i think

I actually like the Wrestlemania 14 HBK figure. I used it for Interviews and things like that.
I wish they would have made a Cactus Jack using the superstars series 3 body.

That and I'm an HBK mark lol.

And I remember suggesting (or maybe it was XZEROX) the Superstars Series 1 lineup for the final CS set, but that seems almost too good to be true considering the state Jakks was in by the end of 2009. The DTA Tour 1 HBK was obviously a mock WMXIV attire, but the actual WMXIV figure was more or less a mashup of a bunch of HBK's looks from different eras. Same for the zebra print Slammers Series 2 figure. Also, on a somewhat related note, I love how out of scale the arm tattoo is on the WMXIV figure.

By the way, I really like all of the boxed set suggestions thus far, especially for PPVs and the NWA idea (which, unfortunately, would have had no chance of survival).
Others that I would have liked to have seen:
1. WrestleMania XIV "DX Raided" (to differentiate from the other one; also, red instead of yellow for the packaging) 4-pack - Stone Cold Steve Austin (Superstars 4/5 re-release with Austin 3:16 vest) - Shawn Michaels (like the DTA Tour 1 figure, but with added detail) - "Iron" Mike Tyson (DX t-shirt with black jeans) - Vince McMahon (repaint RSC1 figure)
2. First Ever Inferno Match (Unforgiven 1998) 3-pack (not necessarily a playset, but add-ons for either the Attitude or Monster ring) with black/red or black/purple packaging - Undertaker (depending on time of release, either the CTS#1 smaller mold or the larger Superstars 7 figure re-released) - Kane (^ either the Slammers 2 or Superstars 8 figure re-released) - Paul Bearer (Badd Blood re-release) - Cardboard flames of varying sizes that would fit along a track attached to either the Attitude or Monster ring.
3. J.O.B. Squad 4-pack (an early incarnation, with black and white packaging; the background image inside the box can be a plain ring mat as if they're laying on it lol) - Al Snow (more accurate repaint of the Fully Loaded 1 figure, also comes with removable J.O.B. Squad t-shirt and Head) - Bob Holly (would-be debut figure with the blonde locks, J.O.B. Squad molded t-shirt and generic black ring attire) - Scorpio (in colorful post-Flash Funk tights and with the same t-shirt mold as Holly) - Dwayne Gill (same t-shirt mold as the above two, but even scrawnier limbs)
4. D-Generation X Special Collection 4-pack (each with removable DX t-shirts, which don't all have to be the same, on neon green carding) - Triple H (Deadly Games figure repainted green) - X-Pac (Signature 4 lower body with tanktop upper body repainted) - Road Dogg (new smaller head sculpt with braids showing, and the existing smaller body used in Fully Loaded 2 and other series) - B.A. Billy Gunn (Signature 5 repaint, or even a re-release of the Fully Loaded 1 figure)
5. Off The Mat #2 4-pack (there is some truth to this idea, but it never made it past the discussion stages as far as I know) - Road Dogg (any old repaint will do, and it comes with the Hardcore title belt prior to the Hardcore Champions boxed set) - Jacqueline (either a Signature 3 re-release or repaint, and it comes with a brand new Women's title belt) - Christian (either his debut Superstars 9 figure or a repaint of said figure, and it comes with a brand new Light Heavyweight title belt) - X-Pac (any old repaint will do, and it comes with a brand new European title belt)
Thinking of the Hardcore Champions boxed set reminds me of how cool it would be to have WWF Heavyweight, Intercontinental, European, Tag Team, Light Heavyweight, and Women's title sets.
The Euro title set would have to include D'Lo Brown (finally with chest protector), X-Pac, and Shane O'Mac if you were to make it strictly a 3-pack, but guys like Triple H, Owen, or even a update of the Bulldog would suffice for a 4-pack.

Yeah, the WM14 Shawn reminds me of either the WM11 attire or the a reverse of the the KOTR 97 attire. The actual KOTR attire has the black lines on the outside of the hearts and the inside of the hearts are solid white, almost like JAKKS got that fact backwards when producing the figure.
