therealworldchampion Here are the Goldust error figures that have popped up recently on eBay. With left Vader arm and both Vader legs: With Vader arms and legs: With Diesel legs: Wonder why Goldust was always getting the Frankenstein treatment in these box sets?

The Vader arms kinda look neat but wtf with the Diesel legs 😂
I had this boxset and hated it 😂 I’m not sure about anyone else but every figure except Bret had loose joints. Granted I bought it MOC in like 2007, Michales flopped everywhere and so did Warrior. Goldy has loose arms.

Even in '96/'97, I remember each of the figures I had from either of those sets (Owen, Warrior, and Vader) being very loosely fit together right out of the package. I didn't get Bret or HBK until series 3, by which point I think Jakks changed the hardware that connected the limbs to the bodies (I've no doubt that Chicago can confirm/deny). Even figures I got modeled after figures in those first two series that came later down the line (Signature Series Goldust, X-Pac, etc.) fit together better than their previous counterparts.

I feel like busting those apart may answer some questions, to boot.

Is the Survivor Series box set Warrior based on any specific attire, or is it just one of those things Jakks sort of freestyled? I think it’s based off the attire he was wearing for the In Your House video game motion capture photo shoots. This is a great find! I've always been curious why that attire was chosen when I couldn't recall him ever wearing it.

The first couple of sets used a pin and I think with Series 3 onward were held on with a screw.

Thinking on it now, as soon as my Survivor Series Ultimate Warrior gets in, I think I'll have finally gotten every BCA figure I wanted growing up that, for one reason or another, I wasn't able to find. I have a few others kicking around, but the ones that are going to share shelf space together (once I put all that up) will be: Superstars Series 1 Razor Ramon Superstars Series 1 Diesel Hart vs. Hart Family Feud Bret Hart Hart vs. Hart Family Feud Owen Hart DTA Tour Series 2 Blue Blazer Special Edition Series Yokozuna (white) Championship Title Series 4-Pack Rocky Maivia (w/ entrance gear) Survivor Series 4-Pack Ultimate Warrior (green) Those are all loose, so they can go together. I have a Championship Series 4 pack and a Buried Alive set that I'm keeping boxed up, which covers another "never had" in The Executioner. The CS has been opened and is missing the hidden tag belt, but oh well. Still looks nice. Those can go alongside my carded Diesel and Blue Blazer, with room to spare for Razor if I ever come across one at a decent price. Ideally, I'd like to find a red Yokozuna and a pair of the LOD 2000 with their helmets, but at least Yoko is represented already, and technically I had LOD 2000 at one point - I really just want the helmets. All great choices from the early years. When I think of the most sought after BCAs, these all instantly come to mind. Rocky with the entrance gear, although not held in as high esteem as the others, is one of my all-time favorite repaints in the line. Chicago: The Series 3 cards are all cut, wish they were rectangular because they would look a bit better with the Series 1 and 2 cards beside them. I’m glad that I wasn’t planning on getting the Series 3 rereleases of HBK, Bret, Goldust, or Diesel, because I’m out of room across the top of that wall. I just discovered that Warrior picture a month or two ago. But when I saw it, I immediately remembered seeing it in WWF Magazine in an article about the behind the scenes of the In Your House game. There were other pictures too. I remember one of Shawn Michaels in red tights with solid white hearts. This may be the same one that had the pictures of Undertaker with red gloves and tie, instead of purple, and also Bret Hart with pink tights and a green top. Yeah, I think you're right about the magazine pics. I guess it would be kind of difficult to collect Series 3 all one way unless you were to do the rectangular design, since I don't believe Goldust or Diesel were ever released on a die-cut Series 3 card. As has been mentioned on this page, Series 3 can't be recommended enough for its improved quality over Series 1 and 2. I actually learned of the difference in Jakks using pins versus screws from you pointing it out here, plus from watching therealworldchampion's videos. Good stuff for those of us who can't ever fathom cutting one of these bad boys open (although maybe one day if the mood's right). Wonder why Goldust was always getting the Frankenstein treatment in these box sets? It's strange, isn't it? I don't know what the exact reason was, but maybe Jakks found a loophole to reusing parts since there was no flesh showing on Goldust's figure. Anything and everything could be easily repainted and most kids and their parents would be none the wiser. Unless there were massive oversights at the factories, I can't imagine any other reason besides them wanting to get the most out of their existing molds. The Vader arms kinda look neat but wtf with the Diesel legs 😂 I had this boxset and hated it 😂 I’m not sure about anyone else but every figure except Bret had loose joints. Granted I bought it MOC in like 2007, Michales flopped everywhere and so did Warrior. Goldy has loose arms. Yeah, they're all pretty bad for that. Anything pre-Series 3 is going to be a gamble if you decide to remove it from the package. This includes Series 1 and 2, as well as the Superstars 2-Packs (Razor/Diesel, Bret/Owen, Shawn/Vader). I think that was symptomatic of basically all of series 1 and 2. Absolutely. I've seen many cases where Series 1 and 2 figures actually broke apart in the packaging, and I don't recall that ever happening after the Series 3 fix.

Hey all! Hope all is well with everyone. I haven’t posted here in a while. I want to change that, I was wondering if there was an easier way to post pictures here? I am proud of my collection and would love to share it with the fellow BCA fanatics here.
Also, I’m apart of the amazing FB Group WWE Jakks BCA Custom Figures. So much talent over that that has inspired me to go wild with my own customs. Everyone should check it out and join!
Either way with that being said. I wanted to make a post that inspires some imagination and anticipation.

It looks like a lot of fun. Love your choices for the fantasy modern-day BCA series. Ideally, I would want to have characters that I could mix in with my original collection, although I am open to the current roster as well. Cena and Mysterio popped in my head first, for some reason. Probably because they're the most logical selections. Give me Demon Balor and Velveteen Dream, too. Asuka for the lone female spot. If he wasn't currently signed to AEW, I'd also go with a Flashback Jericho based on his RAW debut. If I can't have that, then I'll settle for a Flashback Kurt Angle (Wrestling Machine era FTW).

Went for a quick hunt at a local toy shop. While I found a couple loose Series 2 Ultimate Warriors, neither were the white logo variant which I was hoping to pick up for some lucky person on this thread since I already have one. Keepin' my eyes open!

I'm now finally able to unbox and redisplay all of my WWF BCA era collection. Very excited to get back into these now and I can't wait to start filling the gaps. Here's a little preview of the coming display... All the carded figures are probably going to end up on the wall to make shelf space for loose and boxed figures and odds & ends stuff.

#BringBackBCA If BCAs were to make a return.... What would be your Dream line-ups for the SuperStar Series? 6 Figure set 4 Current stars (RAW, SD, NXT) 1 Female (RAW, SD, NXT) 1 FlashBack (Attitude Era, RA Era, New Gen Era) Somehow I missed this, so here is mine Series 1 1. Kurt Angle (Flashback - he would have been a big selling figure the following year if BCA figures would have stayed in production and his red white and blue attires would really pop from the pegs) 2. Becky Lynch ( she’s the top female in the company, so makes sense to get The Man in series 1) 3. John Cena ( I’m not the biggest Cena fan, but he’s been one of the biggest names for years, makes sense to include him) 4. Finn Balor (Demon) (Would look awesome as a BCA figure) 5. Braun Strowman 6. Daniel Bryan Bonus Box Set: New Day 3 pack Series 2 1. Randy Savage (Flashback)(New Generation with removable cowboy hat) 2. Charlotte 3. AJ Styles ( blue or red attire would look great as a BCA) 4.Brock Lesnar (Modern but would be an easy Flashback for later in the line) 5. Roman Reigns 6. Cesaro Bonus Box Set : NWO Flashback Hogan, Hall, and Nash Series 3 1. Sting (Flashback)(can’t decide if I would go with Surfer or Crow look) 2. Asuka 3. Seth Rollins 4. Jimmy Uso 5.Jey Uso 6. Kevin Owens Bonus Box Set - Charlotte vs Becky vs Rhonda (WrestleMania 35 3 pack. Repaints of Charlotte and Becky, and an exclusive to the box set Rhonda Rousey) Series 4 1. Hulk Hogan (Flashback Red and Yellow late 80’s-early 90’s) 2. Sasha Banks 3. Dolph Ziggler 4.Jeff Hardy 5.Ricochet 6.RTruth Bonus Box Set: WrestleMania Flashback Rollins vs Balor vs Miz (They can reuse Rollins and Balor molds from previous sets, and Exclusive to the box set Miz. Also Balor would be Non Demon, where the main line was Demon Balor) This was fun

So I recently got a good deal on a bunch of BCAs at a flea market, some for my collection and some for custom parts. And I think that and my recent interest in wanting to make some new BCA customs, has really gotten me bitten by the BCA bug again. So I thought I would start off by posting pictures of my collection. Later I might add pictures of my small MOC collection and of some of my customs. I’ve already started tracking down some missing figures from my collection and some figures in better condition than the ones I’ve already got, as some do have a bit of wear and tear. Loose series 1-3 -No series one Goldust loose, but I have the Series 3 Rerelease. Although I hope to find a better one sometime as loose Goldust figures seem to turn green over time lol. -Need a new Series 2 Bret Here’s some of the other versions of some of the Series 1-3 Superstars Here’s some more alternate versions of the Series 1-3 -I recently added the Best of 97 HBK, that I didn’t know I needed until Chicago ‘s post showing the difference in Series 2 and Best of 97 - Custom Mankind, got the idea from someone here on wfigs but can’t remember who. Series 4-6 figures The Nation of Domination Austin, Taker, Kane, and The Game DX!! Miscellaneous Superstars including custom Jeff Jarrett Miscellaneous Superstars including custom Shane McMahon Tag Teams including custom DOA Crush
