Chicago Thanks for the pics and info. I definitely prefer #2 I just wish that they'd have used the Sid style torso as Edge was never this jacked.

BCA-ized Taka Also, this is an underrated and under-used torso. It could have worked for several wrestlers.

BoneCrunchingCustoms I like that Severn. I know 2 Tuff 5 Austin legs aren't for everyone, but those larger knee pads were just about made for him. Taka is a detailed figure that often gets overlooked. I can honestly say I don't think I've seen anyone use that torso for a BCA custom. The dislike of Slammers parts must run deep lol. Also, I can't begin to tell you and The Shiniest Wizard how much I love the custom series graphics on the last page. Brilliant stuff, guys.

Yeah I thought the large knee pads and short boots fit Severn perfectly. I really like the Taka figure I just wish that head sculpt wasnt so absurdly bad. The Shiniest Wizard did a fantastic job, I love his version. A couple of 1999 Undertaker options I went with the WMXV scan because I had an extra Summerslam '98 HHH with Mattel scan American Badass OG style BCA Taker wip Shane O mac

It's he, it's he! It's that D-Ohhh-Double-G! I painted some black hand tape Working on adding the black trim to Billy Gunn's kneepads I attempted painting Jarrett's kneepads. Not my best work but they look better than they did plain. Billy and Jarrett completed (I think)

I re-painted Jarrett's head. I fixed his hair color and eyebrows, finished his goatee, painted up his lips and teeth and made his eyes blue.

BoneCrunchingCustomsLove the head swaps. I think some of them, like Shane, look even better on BCA bodies. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember Viscera wearing pants at first. Maybe not with that top, but something similar to it. BCA Acolytes will always be a big "What if?" to me. Just based on the parts alone, yours are as good as can be expected of Jakks. Head sculpts would not have been Real Scan quality yet, and I'm not even sure Jakks would've thought to use Kama legs again after Christian, so once again yours would easily best Jakks circa '99. Signature 5 Road Dogg probably shouldn't get any praise, like at all lol, but I appreciate what Jakks was going for. What I really like about your custom is the added layer of wrist/fist tape. A Backlash/Signature 5 combo might be my new favorite BCA Road Dogg. Excellent work on Jarrett. That figure blows away the half-assed one Jakks gave us with all Owen parts. Repainting the head took it to the next level, and your skill at that is comparable to your parts selection. Can't wait to see you attempt some of his more colorful ring attire. Green and blue are a must!

Green and blue are a must! Thanks! The Shane head definitely works well on the BCA, but anything was better than the Superstars 8 head on that body. You may be correct on Viscera, but I much prefer his tights look. It's certainly what I remember anyway. The Kama legs were a no-brainer for The Acolytes imo. Both were thick dudes. The Faarooq skintone is a bit off though but it isn't too noticeable. I'm happy how Road Dogg turned out. One of my favorite customs so far. I really like that headscan. I was surprised at how well the Jarret head turned out after painting it. You can still see the Owen sculpt in there (obviously) but it's much less noticeable now. Also the brown eyes really threw it off. I also like the DOA arms but now he can't hold his guitar so I may stick with the HHH Superstars 6 arms next time. I attempted his sliver/green gear but I'm not happy with my paintjob so I may abort mission and grab the logos from Curb Stomp City Decals instead. Dude that Billy Gunn looks phenomenal! Great work dude! Thanks, dude! I finished the base for my In Your House D-Generation X Ken Shamrock custom and am awaiting the decals from Curb Stomp City in the mail but they appear to be stuck in transit for the last month. I photoshopped them onto the figure though to show you what it will hopefully look like all said and done. I'm also working on a Wrestlemania 2000 Christian because he never made the BCA cut Another version '99 Triple H. I think this one is my favorite. I experimented with some Jakks kneepads Edge in debut attire Head swap and added elbowpads to The Rock. A very simple but huge improvement.

WM 2000 Christian completed! Everytime time you post a new custom, I get closer and closer to busting out my Jakks Monster Ring and having a full blown PPV with my old BCA figures. Amazing work. Damn you I'm 34 I can't play with these anymore! I don't have the imagination I used to have!

I added some Curb Stomp City decals to Pillman and Bret. It always bugged me that the Pillman logo was backwards. I also darkened Pillman's hair some. I finished Brood Christian off with some decals too.

BoneCrunchingCustomsI'm loving all of the recent upgrades. The decals bring out so much more of the characters than Jakks would have ever attempted. Bigger knee pads are a must for that Triple H. Gives it a more complete look and it's more believable than any available BCA parts. Edge looks much better than with Triple H parts. Ahmed's crotch piece without the legs reminds me of an adult diaper lol, but it doesn't detract from the figure. Which Rock head did you use? That's a strong likeness. The small elbow pads are perfect for those arms. Never noticed the logos on Pillman were backward! Maybe the Jakks designers were given poor reference material? Thanks for righting that wrong lol. Hitman logos are awesome. Have you ever thought about making a custom Jim Neidhart to go with it? DOA arms taking over is something I love to see. Seems like they would go well with just about any small BCA torso. Thanks as always for sharing the photos with us.
