Thank god they didn't abandon basic BCAs for Slammers. I really hated Slammers when they came out, and was always a little bummed that the "hippest cat in the land" never got a non-Slammer BCA release.

Kane - Superstars Series 8 (first non-Slammers Kane) Austin - I was never impressed by any of the ring gear Austins, so I'd probably say his Off The Mat figure in vest/jorts with the calf tattoo. Rock - If not the Championship Title Series #1 Maivia, then probably the Backlash Series 1 figure (which is a repaint of the Road Rage figure) for The Rock. Triple H - Backlash Series 3 Bret Hart - Best of '97 Series 1 (no shades with Superstars Series 1 attire) Owen Hart - Hart vs. Hart Family Feud exclusive 2-pack figure with painted-on cast. Billy Gunn - Fully Loaded Series 1 Road Dogg - Fully Loaded Series 1 Al Snow - Fully Loaded Series 1 (noticing a trend here lol) Hardcore Holly - Any of his later figures with the colorful trunks like Signature Series 6 and the two from the Backlash series. X-Pac - Superstars Series 7, although all of his repaints are great. Mankind - Definitely Superstars Series 3, and I am actually not crazy about the Corporate Mankind mold. I do like the removable mask, though.
I'll throw out five more:
Undertaker? (Mine would be the Superstars Series 9 figure with black/red robe, as well as Superstars Series 1 for an earlier 'Taker) Shawn Michaels? (It's a toss-up, but I'll go with the WrestleMania XIV figure in white; Superstars Series 2 is special for me since it was the first BCA figure I opened when I started rebuilding my collection in 2007) Goldust? (KOTR Break Down: In Your House Series with gold robe) Vader? (Live Wire Series 1 in bright red) Ken Shamrock? (Live Wire Series 1 in red/black)

Excuse my lack of knowing most of the serieses..
Kane - Superstars series 8 Austin - The one that came in the 2 pack with Big Bossman. Also really liked the K-Mart exclusive in hunting shirt & hat, but hated the unpainted knee pads and eventually convinced my dad to paint the knee pads black for me. Rock - breakaway pants and brama bull t-shirt street gear was always my favorite and one I always used Triple H - the one that came with the Super Soaker. Had the hair down bigger head.. Bret Hart - all of them were pretty terrible, honestly.. Owen Hart - Series 2 w/ long hair. I never did like the Owen Hart/Jeff Jarrett double head Billy Gunn - lime green gear Road Dogg - Black pants with white DX shirt with bandana Al Snow - black shorts with white shirt. Came with head and luggage Hardcore Holly - Road Rage. loved that he came with my first table X-Pac - I never did have an X-Pac as a kid, so I'm not really partial to any of them. Mankind - Slammers series 1 BY AND FAR! I loved how when he'd bump to the floor, his arms would flail and rag doll. I used to make shirts for him out of toilet paper and masking tape for this figure. The shirts would ALWAYS get destroyed during his match. Sometimes he'd wear the same ripped up shirt for a week or two. Possibly my favorite figure of the entire BCA line.
Undertaker: the first one of the last mold, with all his tattoos and bigger chest. I had the original series 1 Undertaker, but it bit an unfortunate death to too much use of the bone crunching action. I got the second one with the small torso and dreadlocks, then shortly after I got the one with the large chest. I used the dreadlocks one as Kane & Undertaker's third brother, Cole. He was a cruiserweight because of how small the figure's torso was, lol.
Shawn Michaels - Live Wire? Came in blue and black pants and came with a trash can. Goldust - Superstars series 1 Vader - never had one as a kid. Thought all the BCAs were way too small for Vader, so I always used the OSFTM Vader. Ken Shamrock - The red & yellow one. Early release..

Shotgun Series HBK in the red gimmicks with the X's over the hearts Signature Series Billy Gunn in the blue gimmicks Series 7 X-Pac Not sure if it was Breakdown series, but it was the Edge in the blue gimmicks This may have been a Breakdown series too, but the Test in the purple gimmicks Fully Loaded AL Snow figure with head and the stool Series 3 British Bulldog Series 3 Bret Hart
Wow, it's so hard. I mean let's be honest, every BCA figure was cool in a way and had its own specialness to it.

Anybody ever pass on an odd BCA and kick yourself later? There were several that I didn't want/buy as a kid that I wish I had now. At the time, I'm all "Why would they even make that?!" A good example is the WWF Superstars series 7 Dr. Death Steve Williams. When that series came out I couldn't fathom who would even want that lol. Anybody else do this?

I passed on certain things in that era, but only to pick up other figures. I know the RA line there was a lot of figures, but for the BCA era, it seems that so many different lines came out around the same time that it was like wrestling figure heaven in the toy department haha
I do know that I bought more doubles then to play with so guys would have different gimmicks. I had 4 Edge figures, just because 2 were used for ppv's, 2 were used for Raw.
When I was pushing Billy Gunn I went out and got 2 more figures of him too just so he would have different gimmicks to wear.
But then again, this is when figures were pretty cheap compared to what you see the Mattel lines go for today.

passed on the owen/rock two pack for deadly games edge (I think it was DG. He was in blue). I already had that rock, so I didn't want to pay however much it was for a 2 pack for just one figure. This was after owen had died. I wasn't watching wrestling for very long at the time so I didn't see owen wrestle a lot.

I did the same thing only I passed up on Taker/Viscera tag set cause I already had 2 Taker's and didn't want a 3rd one. So I never got Big Vis, though he did look cool and I probably could have used him somehow in a story line.

The only figure i regret not buying is the Livewire Marc Mero in the red boxing trunks. I never seen that figure at Kmart. Has anyone here ever had trouble dealing with someone when you are trying to buy figures off of them? There was this guy who had an ad in the local newspaper a while back saying he was selling toys. I called him and asked if he had any wrestling figures. He said he has about 15 MOC bca figures. He told me once he got them out of his storage locker he would call or email me. Well a few days ago he sent me an email telling me he got the figures out of storage. I asked if he could show me a picture of them and he said. "Sorry dude my camera just broke.". I asked him if he could tell me who he has and what he wants for them. He only named 14 of the figures so i asked him who the last one was he said "I think it is Edge but i am not sure.". He told me to call him Friday and he would let me see them. When i called him Friday he said "Sorry man i forgot call me Saturday" when i called him Saturday he said "Sorry man i forgot call me Sunday". I am taking this as a sign that he doesn't have what he says he has. Sorry to vent guys but i had to get this off my chest.

That guy just sounds like an idiot lol, so you'd probably be better off not dealing with someone who doesn't even know the identity of a MOC figure whose name is, you know, ON THE FRONT OF THE PACKAGE. Also, I'd bet he is a sure-fire contender for the "Doesn't know the real value of BCA figures in 2010, so he charges the same amount out of sheer laziness as someone on the secondary market would have 11-12 years ago" award.

You would be right lol. He said he had a RARE Godfather figure and he wanted $35.00 for it. He told me if i really wanted all 15 of them. He would sell them to me for only $200.00 I laughed and told him they were not worth it.

I have not seen a Godfather sell for over $5-6 in a long time, even back when I was willing to pay more for one when I needed it back in '07/'08 for my new collection.
To anyone interested in buying any BCA figures in the near future, please share with us in this thread what the seller's asking price is or just send me a PM if you need advice.
DON'T buy without price checking first; the best place to look for accurate BCA figure values is to search for completed SOLD listings on eBay. It's really the only way to be sure these days.

Those sort of people who sell wrestling figures for the most part, must really think the wrestling collector is an idiot and doesn't know anything. For example, I was at an indy show in Ontario, and this guy sold wrestling figures at them, and he had some in the back of his van, so he went and showed me what he had. He pulled out a Series 4 DA Classic Shawn Michaels in his DX gear and told me how it's rare, and not even in Canada yet and he would sell it to me for $200!! I told him, "That's odd, I just bought that same figure today at Toys R Us for $14.99." He just looked at me and went, "oh..."
Those sort of scalpers are risky to buy from, they just want the most money they can get and think a wrestling collector wouldn't know any better. But, we do. I hate to tell ya scalpers but us wrestling figure collectors are pretty intelligent people.
But I do know a buddy of mine was buying MOC BCA figures at some comic book store in London Ontario for around $10 each. He asked me if that was a good price, and I told him that it sounded fair. It beats paying $30 or so for a MOC BCA off of ebay.

I always hate it when i go to the local flea market and see the local scalper has a figure i have been looking for. One year around Christmas time he had a cs Doink the clown and Berry Windham i was looking for.He wanted $20.00 each for them and i thought it was too high.I ended up getting the figures that year for Christmas. I asked my mom where she got them from she said the flea market. I told her she should not have spent $20.00 each on them. She then told me that he made her pay $30.00 for Doink and $25.00 for Windham. I was so mad. . I always hate it when i talk to someone about buying figures and they always think they know more that i do. I was at a yard sale a few weeks ago and seen a box of wrestling figures. When i asked how much the mom ran over there and said $9.00 EACH. Then she gave this big speech about how she paid $15-$20 each for them brand new. I picked out a few of the figures that where not soaked in either Red or Green paint and asked her if she would be willing to work me a deal on them. She got very rude with me and said "I told you the price is $9.00 each and i am FIRM on price" I put the figures back in the box and walked away. I can't believe some people.

I'm the type at a yard sale where I generally won't spend over $1 on ANYTHING. I always offer people half of what they have marked on anything, no matter what they have marked, lol.. I figure if they are willing to sell it in their yard, they are wanting to get rid of it..
I got a really like-new nice dresser at a yard sale for $3
