Yeah, it's definitely the most detailed Goldust BCA figure. It's the only one that actually has his name written across the back of his suit. Although, if any of them should NOT be referred to as Goldust, than it's probably that one. "Silverdust" is more like it. And that's exactly what I named him in a storyline in my old fed! Haha! I think he was Goldust's younger brother (Cody?) and he came for Marlena or something. I don't remember, but I know I had a "SilverDust" and a "PlatinumDust" sometime in the 90s.

It's funny that we should mention gold and silver, because I used to have these colored pens that I bought from an art store for customizing figures. I probably marked up more figures than was needed, but messy face paint is "Poor Customizing 101" and I was a full-fledged student of the course lol. Permanent markers are always a classic, too. The one custom I made that I remember using prominently in my fed was the Austin in black jorts (second time this thread!) from the Bad to the Bonz boxed set which became "The Iceman." I'd like to say he was influenced by Chuck Liddell, but Glacier is more like it. I think he held the IC title for a while, but don't all custom (or brand new) figures receive that treatment when they debut in a fed? There is always an abundance of pushes to the moon, it seems lol. Geez, can't believe my 10,000th post referenced both Glacier and jorts; that'll never happen again lol.

Chicago, you are so right about new figures getting pushed!! Al Snow was pushed right to the IC Title and held it for what seemed like forever. After he lost it and the 'new' figure feel wore off, he never did win the IC Belt again. Though he was European Champion and Hardcore Champion many times.
I think it's definitely a new figure craze to push them like crazy when we first got them. Even when it was guys that you probably didn't care for to begin with haha

I never did any custom work to any of my figures.
I remember pushing Gangrel to a wwf title shot when i first got him. I did the same thing with the original ecw figures of Lance Storm and Shane Douglas.
I used the Wildman Marc Mero figure as Johnny B. Badd after i got the series 6 Marc Mero
Did anyone here ever do a Tournament to crown a new champion?
My favorite tournament was the Deadly Game tournament to crown a new wwf champion. Kane had been the champion in my fig fed for about 2 months and i tought it was time to shake things up. I did a storyline where Kane left the wwf to go to ecw for awhile. the final match was Triple H vs Gangrel with Triple H winning. ;D

About 10 years ago there was the People's Court with Judge Jerry (Judy's husband) and a case involved a young boy who bought some Jakks figures (think they were the corporation series with Shane McMahon) from a card show dealer in a mall for a lot of money each and then he and his father went to the mall store and found the same figures for retail price.
The mall dealer lost the case.

The worst thing is that the merchant kept the original store price sticker on the back although blacked out. I got those figures fairly easily so for the merchant to say they were exclusive or hard to find was just deserving of having to pay back triple the money.
The best thing is that Judge Jerry seems to have no clue who the wrestlers are.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Unfortunately, this happens to all collectors at some point. It is unfortunate to lose extra money, but if you wanted it bad enough to pay the jacked up prices to begin with, you have to count your losses. The guy even gave him a store credit!

I had this happen to me once. When i bought a toybiz Bret Hart. I paid a guy at a flea market $10.00 for it only to find out that he bought it from TRU for $5.00 from that point on i shop around for the best price.

I had tournaments a lot for no apparent reason, King of the Ring, for titles, etc. Not really a tournament, but my dad at one time said in a joking manner that he wanted to see every figure I had in the same match with 1 winner. I've only done it twice I believe. Every figure started off being in the match no matter where they were located, they were eliminated by pin or submission, but a ref had to acknowledge it & the last person would become the WWE champion. The ridiculous thing is 1 of these matches had the WWE Champion survive the entire thing, I think it was Kane haha.

That sounds like a fun time! I did stuff like that with my figures all the time. To be honest with you guys, I'm a little surprised at the amount of detail many say they had when putting together shows and whatnot. As a 8--9--10 year old kid, I would just have different matches every time I played. Rarely did I have a long storyline or anything like that. Today Stone Cold Steve Austin & Undertaker are tag champs... tomorrow its Austin/Taker/Kane/Mankind/ in a Boiler Room Brawl, with no mention of Austin/Taker's tag title win the day before!! Oh the fun I had!
BTW, big post time is almost here. Just a few more days.

I never could just grab two random figures and have a match.I always had to have a storyline for them.
Even when i did a Royal Rumble i always had certain guys come out on a certain number.Everytime i had a Royal Rumble Steve Blackman was the #1 entry.
Once a year i did a match called Lucky Dog.It was a fatal 4 way elimination match. The winner would then have to draw at random what title they would get a shot at.
The first one i ever did was Jerry Lawler vs Vader vs Booker T vs Jeff Jarrett. well Jeff won and he got a shot at the Hardcore title anytime he wanted for up to a year.

Yeah, I too had story lines for them. I just couldn't pick them up and wrestle with random guys. I actually even made 3 matches or so on "Shotgun Saturday Night" which I 'taped' before Raw when I would play with them haha Of course, it made no sense, I should have just did the Raw matches and then afterward pretend it was Saturday to do the Shotgun matches but I felt best if I did them on the same night hahaha ahhh the good times of it all.
I remember though that every June I would have a King of the Ring tournament. Even have the qualifying matches on Raw and Smackdown. Then I would write them all down so I could remember easier who would be facing who.
Back in the Hasbro day of playing, I would even have the Crockett Cup!! I loved doing tournaments or interesting matches like that with the figures, it was fun times.

Battle royals were more my thing since tournaments involved using the same figure two or three times in one sitting and I would run out of ideas for the matches as it got closer to the finals. Better yet, I always liked have qualifying matches more than actually playing out the tournament itself.
I could have random matches if i wanted to, but I usually tried to keep with a storyline (or just emulated what I saw on TV at the time). I definitely was not as creative as some in this thread and I can relate to dgnr8 on that point lol, but then again I don't remember a whole lot of the stuff I used to do anyway since I don't have any record of the matches.
I just looked at some results for a smaller fed I did in late 2004/early 2005 with more current figures (Toybiz/TTL/RA) and I can't even recall doing 95% of those matches lol. I'll just have to leave that aspect of the BCA line to you guys.

Every year when i did the Halloween Havoc ppv.I would do the pick your poison rule where Jim Ross would draw at random the stipulation of the up coming match. so many great memories there lol. The only problem was after i would draw a match type i would put it back in. I remember the first 2 matchs of my Halloween Havoc 1998 ppv were steel cage matches. I still remember having Macho Man jump ship from wcw to wwf. I had him do a run in during the Austin/Triple H wwf title match.

What figure were you excited to get and then once you got it were pretty disappointed with it??
For me it was Christian. He seemed to hardly be able to move. I thought Gangrel moved better than Chrsitian and they had the same upper body. I think Christian's legs were just harder to move than Gangrel's.

I would have to say Gangrel from the Road Rage series. Mine was extremely loose when i got it. He could barley Stand up on his own.
Was there ever a figure that you wanted so bad that you went to several different stores just to find it?
Mine was the Superstars series 7 X-pac. I went to 2 TRUs,2 Kmarts,4 Meijers and 2 Kaybee toys. I found it two weeks later at TRU.
