zappa2510 I've always loved that R-3 DDP head. Once again, a simple fix-up works wonders here with one of the three Austin figures from the Bad to the Bonz 3-pack. Great job. Shout out to whiteyfresh on the Other Brands board for showcasing a bunch of his old BCA customs with his new CMLL entrance playset. Here's the post. Not too shabby.

I hope everyone is having a happy holiday season. I can't complain, and in fact I have a BCA-related Christmas gift to share (well, not literally ). It's been several months since I happened upon headless S.T.O.M.P. Series 2 Stone Cold and The Rock figures stored in my loose collection. The pegs were stuck inside the heads and broken clean off in a similar manner, so I can only assume it was from a bad batch at the factory all those years ago. I had a back-up Series 2 Austin for some ungodly reason and I figured at some point I would buy another Series 2 Rock(y) on the cheap since I'm too lazy to simply GLUE THE HEADS BACK ON. Well, as my Christmas 2014 fate would have it, a family member of mine accessed my Amazon Wishlist and bought the S.T.O.M.P. Rocky Maivia figure for me, sixteen years after it was first produced. Needless to say, of all the figures I could have asked for this year, Scuba Steve Rocky did not register as a probable gift.

My BCA Cena, unfortunately the seam is really visible on his legs and he's a little short. I may eventually try do a bit more to the legs to hide the line, and maybe paint his wrist bands and add his arm band.

Throw in a McDonald's Mini NBA Jersey from 2005 and you've got one hell of a Doctor of Thuganomics era John Cena. I wouldn't worry about the seam as I'm sure there's a way of smoothing that over. Taka's shoes look fantastic and I'm so glad that you gave it a go. Somewhere, Jakks is smirking at your concern for scale lol.

There's Austin shorts and Taka shoes and one of the Headbangers in the middle.

Now that is a cool John Cena custom, although if I were you I would go ahead and paint the wrist and arm bands. Since you made Cena, any chance for a updated Triple H or Daniel Bryan?

I have a 2000-2001 era Triple H in the works. Have been thinking about Daniel Bryan but don't have an extra Daniel Bryan head at the moment.

I am a Hasbro / Mattel collector from the UK but I am thinking of picking up a few BCA figures (loose) as I like the amount of Attitude era wrestlers that were released. I already have Signature Series Rock and Austin figures that my girlfriend bought me way back in 1999, but for whatever reason I never continued to collect this line.
Is there a list somewhere of all of the BCA superstars that were created?
I am also looking to pick up a ring. Which rings were released with these figures, and roughly how much should I be looking to pay?
Finally, do any of you collect the mini figures that were released at the same time, and is this something you would recommend?
Apologies for all of the questions, any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

In the checklist section WF user @chicago covers the Rings as well! figurecollections.com/brand.php?id=1Not before you check out this wonderful site first! There's lots to love about the BCA line and I'll gladly pass along any recommendations. I've always felt the Mini Rings figures were a perfect pairing with the larger, six-inch BCA figures. The selection of seven original sets are fun to have, but I wouldn't say they are essential to a late 90's WWF collection. The Attitude Ring is your best bet for a natural fit with this line. The handful of old LJN Monster Ring repaints that are out there are great for mat space, but the scale is way off. If you want storage space under the ring for weapons/accessories, go with the Hardcore Ring; it is the same scale as the Attitude Ring, but there are more options for customization. Prices vary for these rings new and in the box, but you should be able to find one in the $25 to $50 range easily. Here's a list of all the character names that were made: Does any know an exact number of faces made in BCA form? Like Dude Love, Mankind, & Cactus Jack would simply count as 1. Had to go back to page 9 for this list lol, but here it is: There are 84 faces in all, excluding the newer BCA style figures. 8-Ball Ahmed Johnson Al Snow B.A. Billy Gunn Big Boss Man Blackjack Bradshaw (a.k.a. Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw) Blackjack Windham Bob Backlund Bret Hart Brian Christopher Brian Pillman British Bulldog Cameraman Chainz Christian Chyna Clarence Mason Crush Dan Severn Debra Diesel D'Lo Brown Dr Death Droz Edge The Executioner Faarooq Flash Funk Gangrel Godfather (a.k.a. Kama Mustafa) Goldust Hardcore Holly (a.k.a. Bob Holly) Headbanger Mosh Headbanger Thrasher Henry Godwinn Honky Tonk Man Hunter Hearst Helmsley (a.k.a. HHH/Triple H) The Jackyl Jacqueline "Double J" Jeff Jarrett Jerry "The King" Lawler Jim "JR" Ross Jim Cornette Kane Ken Shamrock Kurrgann (a.k.a. The Interrogator) Luna Mankind (a.k.a. Cactus Jack/Dude Love) "Wildman" Marc Mero (a.k.a. "Marvelous" Marc Mero) Mark Henry Marlena Owen Hart (a.k.a. Blue Blazer) The Patriot Paul Bearer Paul Wight (a.k.a. The Big Show) Phineas Godwinn Razor Ramon Referee Rekon Road Dogg Jesse James Road Warrior Animal Road Warrior Hawk The Rock (a.k.a. Rocky Maivia) Sable Savio Vega Sgt. Slaughter Shane McMahon Shawn Michaels (a.k.a. Commissioner Michaels) Skull Steve Blackman Stone Cold Steve Austin The Sultan Sunny Sycho Sid Taka Test Ultimate Warrior The Undertaker Vader Val Venis Vince McMahon Viscera X-Pac Yokozuna If you include the newer BCA style figures, the number rounds up to 95. A-Train Booker T Brock Lesnar Bubba Ray Dudley Chris Benoit Chris Jericho D-Von Dudley Eddie Guerrero Hulk Hogan Jeff Hardy Kurt Angle By the way, I attempted to tackle the number of actual BCA figure releases for each face in a post back on page 99: wfigs.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wrestlingfigs&thread=185814&page=99

Didn't The Shopping cart accessory originate from the BCA line?

Didn't The Shopping cart accessory originate from the BCA line? No, I believe it was first used in Grapple Gear Series 3 "Boiler Room Mayhem" which is from the early TTL era. With that said, the standard size Jakks ladder (pictured above) did originate from the BCA line; it was first included with D.T.A. Tour Series 2 Steve Blackman.

Wow, it's great to see this page still kicking after all this time!
It just goes to show that BCAs left a lasting impression on all of us!

My BCA adventure starts here! Won a couple of ebay auctions of the past couple of days, so I'll post pictures as and when they arrive. In the meantime, here are the first two BCA figures I got back in 1999.

I loved the line back in the day.
It was the line that actually got me back into toys. I took a brief hiatus from toy collecting in the late 90's while I experimented with girls.
If Mattel wanted to revisit this concept I'd be down.
Even if Jakks wanted to I'd consider it.

In the meantime, here are the first two BCA figures I got back in 1999. I read this as if I was watching the first episode of "BCÁ: Indigo League" and I got unnaturally excited. Those two figures (Signature Series 4 Rock and Series 5 Austin) are very nice repaints. I picked up a Special Edition Series 6 Rock figure the other day on eBay, but I am now living vicariously through the purchases of everyone else here.

I would also like to see a nWo Hollywood Hogan BCA. I had the toybiz one to go with my WWF superstars but I always kinda wondered what the BCA would look like. I mean Scott Hall and Nash would just be repaints but what troso and body mold would Hogan had? Same goes for a late 95 Randy Savage, what do you think they would of looked like Chicago?
