I would also like to see a nWo Hollywood Hogan BCA. I had the toybiz one to go with my WWF superstars but I always kinda wondered what the BCA would look like. I mean Scott Hall and Nash would just be repaints but what troso and body mold would Hogan had? Same goes for a late 95 Randy Savage, what do you think they would of looked like Chicago? Well, it's difficult to say since neither Hogan nor Savage ever had the possibility of an original BCA figure during the Monday Night Wars. I like the use of Sycho Sid's body for Red and Yellow Hogan or Hollywood Hogan, to be honest with you. Also, I think Ultimate Warrior would make a great base figure for Randy Savage at that time, though there could be potential hang-ups with the elbow pad arms and exposed legs (which could just as easily be painted over). When it comes to "What If" scenarios, I always tend to suggest original Superstars Series molds (Series 3 Sid/Series 2 Warrior) rather than the later *ahem* artificially-enhanced BCA sculpts because I think they closer represent the performers themselves. Don't get me wrong, I love the whole of the BCA line, but I've come to realize I prefer the smaller molds that predate Superstars Series 6 HHH, Superstars Series 7 Edge, and the like.

I wish that the BCA line would have actually continued on in EVERY store from 2000 on to 2004. I would much rather have had 4 more years of BCA figures than the horrible R3 and TTL era. I tried buying some TTL figures in 2001 and I just didn't like them. They didn't click well for me. So they sat in a box for years until I sold them in a lot of figures, and kept the BCAs alive and well!

Finished these up over the past few days. This is my second Hogan like this. He's just fun to make. Also this is my first attempt at BCA Flair. Can't remember if I posted ABA Undertaker before or not so I thought I would add him to this pic of Benoit and Shango.

Forgive me if you've mentioned this before, but how do your customs hold up after play? Would you say that they are more suited to display? Have you ever thought of doing a pic fed with them? All of your work looks so clean and I'm always pleasantly surprised by your part selection/choices of attire. Is that a Hardcore/Bob Holly head used for Papa Shango? Definitely keep us updated on your projects, and if you're ever taking suggestions let us know.

Anyone see the moc Owen Hart on eb__ay with vaders arms? Yes. I love obscure BCA error figures and that is no exception. I can't see myself submitting an offer, but I would bid if the price were lower (under $15).

Chicago: Well I can't say for sure. Back when I played with BCAs regularly I remember making customs and playing with them. There were occasions where I would have to touch up the paint on them. But I wasn't using sealer then and i'm sure wasn't paying as much attention to detail then. But now I use sealer but haven't played with them to see how they hold up. Yeah thats a Hardcore Holly head on there. I used a Holly head, Godfather torso and arms ( for the tattoos), and Mankind legs. Well I don't mind hearing requests but can't promise I can do them or how soon I can get to them. The BCA customs I'm making now are mostly just because I have some extra parts that I was gonna get rid of but shipping on the box of parts was gonna cost too much. So instead of waiting for someone to buy them, and I didn't wanna just trash them, so I just started seeing what I could make from them.

Well I would be interested in that Hulk Hogan if you are going to part with it. I came up with a few more ideas today though for a few customs. I'm not saying they have to be made it is just interesting to think about.
Curt Hennig (Al snow, Mattel Perfect head) Kane (RA 5 attire, repaint of singlet Kane with the bald head) Perry Saturn (dress attire) Dean Malenko (WCW attire) Shane Douglas (using the warrior body?)

Are you interested in the Hogan in the picture or the yet to be finished Hollywood Hogan?

I'd really like to see Hollywood first, I hope you do the simple lighting and nWo boots though, that is my fav Hollywood attire, but any incarnation is still cool to see. Pm about pricing, if it's over 70 dollars like I've seen else where though I think your going to have to sell it to someone else. I love BCA but I don't love it that much haha.

can I get some info on this? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe that was an exclusive Austin/McMahon two-pack that you had to mail order through the magazine. Vince was a repaint from his Ringside series figure and Austin was a repaint from the first jeans/t-shirt combo (was the first release in a Signature Series line?) that had the 1999 Royal Rumble logo on the shirt. Hope I helped!

Question for you guys... have any of you tried swapping the Series 8/KOTR (Commissioner) Shawn Michaels head onto any other BCA bodies? I'd be very curious to see if that is possible. Thanks in advance!

Hope I helped! makes me mad every time this comes up. I ordered the PPV. I used my money to send off the cable bill for the offer (several dollars after photocopying + postage). I had a very limited allowance at the time but validated it that I was getting two new figures.. After about 6 weeks of waiting, I got a package in the mail... With a note saying they were sorry they ran out of the figures and a large t-shirt. I was a very small 10 year old in 1999. I wouldn't wear a large t-shirt for about 5 years. One of the first times I really felt ripped off as a kid.

Hope I helped! You had to order the 1999 Royal Rumble and then send in a copy of your cable/satellite bill indicating the purchase of the event. Requests had to be received by late March 1999 and, I believe, the exclusive figures were shipped out beginning* in late May/early June 1999. * Edit: After looking through some files I had saved, it appears that the figures began shipping in early May of 1999. Don't worry, Prophet of Ash, they're not all that they were cracked up to be.

I didn't have a Vince until I got the Titan Tron Christmas 99 and never had a street gear Austin. There were so many characters (especially between WCW & ECW) and I had such limited funds that I'd never rebuy the same character. I had Superstars series 5 Austin, that was my Austin. Not much of a badass in his white boots.

Question for you guys that are MOC collectors (looking at you, Chicago and 3Lephant (Naptown Icon))... I see you guys have made a lot of posts showing eBay auctions for entire MOC series that were $20 or less including shipping. Do you have any tips/favorite sellers that you would point me towards? I'm very interested in re-starting my collection and would love to be able to get as much bang for my buck as possible. Any help would be great... thanks!

I'm very interested in re-starting my collection and would love to be able to get as much bang for my buck as possible. Any help would be great... thanks! The funny thing is, I buy almost all of my figures MOC, but I open them for my predominantly loose collection. I sent this to a fellow board member who asked the same thing: Yeah, it can be a bit tricky to find BCA figures unless you know where to look. More often than not, I'm searching for BCA figures that are new and in their original packaging. If I don't know what figure it is that I'm specifically looking for, I'll begin with a general search for "wwf new", "wrestling new" or "jakks new". I may even include the year the toy was manufactured, such as "wwf 1998 new" or "jakks 1999 new". You can always throw in terms like "bca" "box" "set" "box set" "pack" "2-pack" "3-pack" "4-pack" "complete" and others along with the ones mentioned above to add a filter to your results. Here's a link to my BCA checklist: jakksbca.blogspot.com/p/checklist.htmlIf you copy and paste some of the terms from there, such as the series titles ("wwf superstars new" or "wwf 2 tuff new", for instance) or the names of wrestlers (for example, "wwf viscera" or "wwf flash funk"), you are sure to get some hits. I would search All Categories first on the main search bar, then work your way through Toys & Hobbies on the left side of the results page to find the BCA figure listings. Good luck, and remember I'm always here for BCA advice.
